My conveyancer, Hannah Simmons, was very supportive and professional during a difficult time. There were many issues arising during the house sale/purchase process and Hannah and her colleagues guided me through step by step, advising and reassuring me when I felt pressured to take actions that were not necessarily in my best interests. Their use of scanners and email undoubtedly saved time ensuring the process was not held up. Charges were clearly explained to me and any queries I had were answered to my satisfaction. I stumbled across NERO Legal through HBC Conveyancing and I'm glad I did! Looking for quotes online to sell a property avoiding the usual high profile conveyancers charging an extortionate rate, HBC had a very competitive quote and a 10% discount to boot. I took a chance and decided to give them a go. Kirsty at HBC quickly assigned NERO LEGAL as my conveyancer and I was impressed instantly with the speedy and professional manner in which they contacted me. Karen at NERO Legal dealt with the initial registration and administrative bits and pieces needed to get me through to the sale process, I was a bit dismayed to learn that I needed to send my passport or certified true copy for identification purposes (I live abroad and was hesitant to post my passport and found it extremely difficult to find a solicitor to ctc my passport, eventually finding a notary that did it and allowed me to continue the process with NERO legal, I realised soon after that all solicitors require this level of id for anti money laundering measures). Karen, I found to be extremely pleasant, courteous, patient and professional at all times, passed me on to Rachael once I had ticked all the boxes. I had sold another property in Scotland around 3 year prior to this sale and it was really very drawn out and complicated, I expected the same process here with NERO legal, thinking this was the norm for a sale but I was very wrong! Once again, as Karen was, Rachael was a dream to work with, she made my life very easy with this sale, I'm sure she must have had some difficulties but I never found out about them, Rachael dealt with everything, only getting in touch to clarify the important bits and guide me through the jargon with her advice and knowledge. The whole process took around 3 months, pretty standard for a sale but it was mostly down to waiting for 'the other side' to get the finances in order and could probably have been wrapped up in 2 months if this was not the case. In summary, this was a very easy, pleasant and pain free sale, brought about by the professionalism of Kirsty at HBC Conveyancing and both Karen and Rachael at NERO Legal. The most important part actually for any seller is the transfer of the remaining funds to your account once the sale had gone through, with Nero legal this was done within the hour! I wish I had more properties to sell with Nero Legal. In a word- PERFECTION! Thank you Nero legal from a very satisfied customer. Keep up the fantastic service.
