In particular Brian Smith who has dealt with me on all occasions, he has always been on hand when needed, and his attention to detail has met and acceded my already high expectations. We have had two property deals in tge past 6 months which have both been completed but tge first took 4 months and the second 4 months from offers being accepted. The sale did not happen snd then rushed through with little time to deal with ordering removal team due to lateness of exchange of contract, It seems all contracts take this long but do not understand why there is nit earlier exchange to facilitate organising as you keep saying not to do anything re furniture etc until contract is exchanged but then you find the removal men have filled the gap and you are chasing around for new firm. This latest purchases we have no mortgage and the cash was in the bank to pay. Vendors probate obtained and we both were expecting the sale to complete sooner. This has gone on for the same length of time and I have been squatting longer and there seemed to be no reasons although I raised the issue of the inflation and energy that was only to clarify aspects and the documents for the delay although McCarthy and Stone details were not fully produced until 208 pages arrived? We then had to sign a letter in Ipswich with the manager but bearing in mind we went there on 1st July 2022 the manager did not make an appointment and then after the contracts were exchanged we suddenly had to sign papers which the manager said the contracts could not be exchanged until it had been completed . In fact tgey we’re exchanged on 19th July but I cancelled the removal and the BT installation So I then found the completion had to be made on 26th July but obviously there other aspects were not being dealt with.. So I am now moving and fortunately my office change of use is still going on. So the date is not too critical. But I could not move to the premises and Inam now sorting, Seems that there are many reasons why things do not happen but you feel you are awaiting Goddo. Barry Gascoyne

We had a really good experience with Ed and would recommend Kersey's to others looking to instruct a solicitor. We had a purchase fall through 2 days before (no fault whatsoever of Kersey's), but had no reservations about re-instructing them for a second attempt a couple of months later. I always felt like it was okay to ask a question via email, and found Ed to be very reliable in responding to these and reassuring us through a process we didn't understand.
