For the past 7 years have had trouble with the Home Office due to their hostile environment surrounding my case went to the Tribunal the first time with no representation and the determination was negative, got taken into detention for 2 weeks then subsequently released after bail application then made a fresh application which was refused . Thank you to the CPC team for all the help and the successful outcome of my case. All the other lawyers I spoke to told me I had no chance, or very little to succeed- Mr Jafferji took on my case, was honest with me from the beginning about my chances, but gave me the right directions, tips and advices on what evidence to gather, which angle to take, etc. Mr Jafferji did a great job at the hearing- I have observed many hearings, and I had never heard a barrister summarise the skeleton argument so efficiently and thoroughly. I am convinced this was a big reason for the successful outcome. Special thanks also to the paralegal team, especially Tanveer! My story below (If it helps anyone in a similar situation!) Before contacting CPC, I had done a very thorough research, had contacted many solicitors and barristers- I either heard "you don't have a chance" or their prices were crazy high. 1. I found Mr Jafferji through a youtube video about a case that was relevant to mine, he came across as an expert on the topic, therefore I got in touch and booked a consultation call. The fee, I thought at the time, was quite high for a 1-hour consultation- but now I know, it was worth it! He went through all my immigration history and at the end suggested a best course of action, which article to rely on and what evidence I may need to gather. 2. I was straight away assigned to a Paralegal within the team (I want to highlight that the assistant or paralegal you're assigned to is always there if you have any questions, and are efficient and quick to respond. Special thanks to Tanveer and also, Nina!) 3. I decided to go the route of Direct Access, as at the time I didn't have a solicitor, couldn't afford to pay a solicitor's fee as well. If you do decide to go Direct Access- bear in mind, you will be responsible for all your research, paperwork and tribunal contact. I did pay a separate fee for the CPC team to review all the evidence before I submitted- so this can be helpful if you choose Direct Access. Please note, if you choose Direct Access, you might not have the chance to speak with the barrister directly, but the paralegal team will answer your questions if necessary. In this case- do get ready for hours and pages of evidence gathering! 4. Attended the hearing with my witnesses and Mr Jafferji, who was very persuasive and impressive in his argumentation and summary of skeleton argument= I can see from previous reviews as well that Mr Jafferji is very experienced and confident at Tribunal hearings with the Judge. I have no doubt I am going to be recommending CPC to all my friends and acquaintances should anyone seek a barrister’s help with Tribunal Appeals for immigration matters.

I am very grateful for the hard work Mr Sheraaz Hingora put in to getting my removal cancelled and being allowed to quarantine in the UK. I came as a visitor however transmitted through a red list country. When I arrived I was refused entry because it was “conducive to the public good” since I transited through Turkey. I arrived at 4:45pm on Saturday and I was detained and told I would be removed at 11:25am on Sunday. He was instructed at 12pm at night and drafted detailed grounds challenging removal.
