We acquired this firm’s services for my wife’s visa application. The application was successful thanks to 1st Citizen Layers despite my wife having had two previous visitors' visa refusals. All in all happy with the final result and would recommend. That said, one thing we found slightly annoying was the imprecision with which application drafts and client letters were prepared. We had to make multiple edit requests due to wrong entries in the application (such as wrong dates and misspelled names!) even though all the necessary documents where made accessible.

I contacted Fraz Wahlah of 1st Citizen Lawyers about acquiring a British passport for my son. At first glance the case would seem fairly straight forward, but there were a lot of complications with Indonesian law regarding my marriage and the registration of my son’s birth certificate and that how the law had changed making the church unable to register a wedding between a national and a non-national. And to top it all off I added one more complication: I needed to do all of the process remotely as my work commitments would make it impossible to visit the UK. Fraz did not seem undeterred with all the problems that we faced and we took each step slowly and more to the point legally correct to make sure that we ticked all the boxes of the immigration office of the United Kingdom. And I am happy to say that my son is now a British citizen and the proud owner of a passport of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
