I enquired with several firms about a case of self plagiarism. RT Coopers Solicitors was quick to respond and straight away we were able to go through the specifics of my case. Rosanna spent several hours on Zoom with me going through my entire literature review and we complied evidence that I could use in my appeal. Update: I have received a successful outcome to my case and I do not think I will ever be able to express my gratitude to Dr Rosanna Cooper enough. I was told by previous legal representation that once a University sides with academic judgement there isn’t really much you can do to challenge that. Dr Rosanna Cooper has just completed a 4 month long fight against my daughter's university for false accusations of academic misconduct. I came to Dr. Rosanna Cooper of RT Coopers when I was given fail for my PhD. I passed my first submission with resubmission but in the second exam, I was given fail with no awards. I did my PhD in Psychology for 5 years altogether. It was an extremely painful, dark and exhausting journey. After 5 years of battle with my PhD, I was tired and losing all my ambition. My thoughts were, with all these positive reviews, this must be an outstanding law chamber given the massive negative reviews some other chambers receive on the internet. And undoubtedly, after working with Dr Cooper, my assumptions were confirmed as RT Coopers proved to be a wonderful law chamber. I was withdrawn from my PhD studies during the final thesis submission for no reasons other than those of the University’s inadequacies. During the write-up stage, supervision was non-existent. I requested assistance from my supervisors several times but received none. The Registrar as well as the supervisors acknowledged the supervisors’ lack of grounded theory expertise – the methodology I deployed in my studies. Thus, I was left without supervision. There were plenty other inadequacies of the University too lengthy to list here. Yet, the University terminated my studies with an excuse of “unsatisfactory performance”. This was bizarre as my thesis was not assessed by anybody with grounded theory knowledge. Both my appeal and complaint to the University were summarily dismissed. The cold naked truth is that a student could do everything right but still be withdrawn from studies due to bias and mistakes of a University. I have had issues where legal representation was deterministic. Lawyers can make or break your case. One instance was when I parked my BMW and it was rammed into by a Post Office vehicle. The driver came down, viewed the damage, and drove away. Two witnesses (Bank workers viewing from their window) copied his plate number and reported him to the police. The police suspended his licence for the hit - and - run offence, but I lost the civil case due to an inexperience lawyer. The consequences were that I had to pay the lawyer out of pocket and paid for the repair of my vehicle all by myself. So, the value of a good lawyer cannot be over emphasized. Bear in mind, being innocent does not always translate to being found innocent in the court of law; several factors depend on your lawyer (Recht haben und Recht bekommen sind zwei unterschiedliche Dinge). I was most fortunate to work directly with Dr Cooper who directed the entire OIA complaint process. Dr Cooper informed me, first and foremost to make subject access request (SAR) to the University. I was already withdrawn at that time and had no access to my emails. Without the SAR, I could not have made my case. On the SAR form, I requested and was provided with every email that had my name on it. Then Dr Cooper worked with me to put the case together (143 pages in total). She revised and transformed the work into a faultless and persuasive piece of OIA complaint. Dr Cooper worked on my case relentlessly starting from early December through Christmas and all the way through Easter. She was sifting through the case to unearth new ideas and facts while displaying her tremendous sense of humor on Skype and phone calls. Working with Dr Cooper was awesome and throughout, she placed much emphasis on delivering a perfect work – an impeccable work ethic. Therefore, she would call me day and night and at weekends for clarifications and to answer questions regarding her findings in the work.
