I want to say a big Thanks to Shafi Solicitors especially Urfan Mehmood for all the hard work they put in my case to get the NOT Guilty which was impossible at one point. The service I received from Shafi Solicitors was beyond excellent. My case has taken over 2 years to come to a conclusion, during this time I have found Mr Urfan Mahmood to be continually professional, attentive and compassionate in what has been a very stressful time. Throughout the whole process I have been kept updated and informed on all aspects of the case. Any queries and questions where promptly answered. I was facing charges of benefit fraud. I was an appointee for a family member and did not realise I was responsible for informing DWP of all changes in circumstances due to this I was charged with benefit fraud. After I was charged my solicitors negotiated with the CPS for the more serious charges being dropped and this made all the difference as it meant I went from a position where I was definitely going to prison to having a chance of a suspended sentence and in the end that’s what happened. I pleaded guilty to the charges, so the efforts of Mr Urfan Mahmood and his team were focused on securing the best possible sentencing outcome. Mr Urfan Mahmood has shown he is a genuinely sincere person who is passionate about his clients and providing the best possible service he can. I cannot thank him enough for his work and his support throughout the hardest of times. In my case I was shown to have acted unintentionally and was pardoned from a custodial sentence. Where do I begin?.... I found my self in a situation..in a deep hole with the police, my friends and family were worried of my mental health, so i was recommended by a friend to go get in contact with Urfan at shafi Solicitors. I was so stressed i could not sleep, night, eat and I found myself unable to work due to the stress and worry. Once I contact Urfan he was kind enough to invite me to see him. Urfan agreed to take this case and reassured me, however due to my mental health I still was unable to sleep and was in a contestant worry, I would always ring Urfan and and ask 100 questions, what touched me the most about Urfan was that he would answer my call 24/7 literally, I recall once ringing him on a Sunday afternoon and began to panic over the phone, the fact that he was with his family on his day off he still answered my phone and gave me comfort and this lasted for several months nd he would always answer my phone, I felt i was bugging him but he was there always literally 247 he answered my calls at midnight and would speak to me for as long as he calmed me down. eventually he managed to get my case dropped and I was able to continue my life.
