I spoke to a lovely man called Tom earlier this morning after having a car accident late last night. The fact that I have two areas of damage related to separate incidents complicates things, yet Sara Adams was fantastic in looking after my claims. However, Winn have been let down by there recovery subcontractor who over promised and under delivered to the extent I was kept waiting at night for over 2hrs and then cancelled. Rescheduled the pick up for the next morning and they were still 30 minutes late with no thought to contact me. I would give Winn a 5 star rating and the recovery company 0 stars

They were REALLY helpful and professional at the beginning, especially with getting us a courtesy car and getting our payment from our written off car. Since making my claim for whiplash, its been impossible to get in contact with them, the phone number never works, it just sends you onto a web chat. I want to speak to someone! They never reply to my emails. Very frustrating to speak to a real person on the phone. I still don't know what's happening with my whiplash claim. And their website to look at the claim takes SO long to load, it hardly works. I just want to know what is happening, now that I have finished all of my physiotherapy sessions.

So far so good, quick and easy process. Only downside is you can't always speak to your case handler however all notes from all handlers are logged so everyone is up to speed with your individual circumstances. I've been dealing with Stephen Doyal who is efficient polite and respectful. Winns had me in a hire car within 24hr and paid out just on the vehicle within 4 weeks and somewhat a better price than expected. (Top book price, for a old banger that I paid significantly less for) Claim for losses and expenses are ongoing and so is personal injury therefore I can't give a true reflection on this at the moment. So far they seem good but it was disappointing that original receipts are needed and they only take in to account last 3 months overtime. I work offshore in a seasonal windfarm industry and they don't take in to effect summer campaign we do lots of overtime and winter we don't as not required so that is a major disappointment. Other than that overall winns seem to be a good company to deal with I've read other reviews with negative feedback however that isn't the case for me personally. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Stephen or winns to anyone who has had a non fault accident I've not had to inform my insurance company or anyone Stephen has done all of this on my behalf and chased everyone up therefore taking all the addition time and workload from me.

Not a very good experience unfortunately, I've canceled my claim, it was transfered to these guys so had to resend all paper work, then had no communication for few months, to be asked to resend some information they already had, I have only had one phone call from them since December which was telling me the original person had left and it had been put forward to someone else yet again! I've sent numerous emails with no call backs or emails since December, I have now emailed stating I want my claim canceled and they can't even answer that email, not very happy with how my claim has been dealt with or my daughters claim as she was in the same accident, we don't even know what's happening with my daughters claim as heard nothing at all about it, we were supposed to receive paper work 6 weeks ago and the excuse was they forgot to send it, absaloute shambles. And will not recommend UPDATE I had a nice lady dawn call me to go through my issues and can safely say was very reassuring and compassionate, and very apologetic the way I have been dealt with, its nice to know that it's been looked into and resolved Thankyou

Seems like a highly complex legal self protection company looking to follow a one shoe fits all approach to any solution. Little flexibility and very forthright in their demands for they need with very little consideration for the customer. Continual text messages, complex written emails and pages and pages of complex documents expected to be signed that i feel actually require a legal team to understand and decipher them, and much of it doesn't seem to reflect my particular details. After being let down massively by my insurers who point blank refused to help me after I was involved in a crash where someone hit me from behind, I was amazed at how effective WINNS were in helping me address the issues around my car and acquiring me the sum I was owed. They were quick and reliable and able to get me a fee for my car (which was considered a write-off as the car was worth less than the damage caused) that was far above what I was expecting. I was quite hesitant at first after being dismissed by my insurers and generally quite reluctant to pursue this claim due to the hassle it had caused me up until then but WINNS made the process as simple and direct as possible and I was left delighted with the results. My only qualm would be that I felt quite rushed when speaking on the phone and trying to get some clarity on what was happening. But when the outcome was as good as it was I won't be holding any hard feelings and will instead recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation to me.
