We received notifications that we needed to pay direct debits for storage of powers of attorney and will documents. Letters from them were unclear and we had to call them 3 times. On all occasions we had to wait for calls to be returned. Although not completely satisfactory the issues were eventually resolved. I would advise that anyone interested in making a will or organising powers of attorney should research this on the internet much of the process can be done by yourself. If you decide to use thy will be done make sure that you read all details and ask relevant questions before signing anything.

After putting off writing a will for many years, we bit the bullet and did it properly. With a complicated family situation and two children we felt it best to consult a a friendly and professional company to make sure our wishes were taken care of correctly. Paul had a number of telephone meetings with us and was clear and patient as he explained what everything meant for us. A back and forth email communication with Lorraine followed as we amended and tweaked things until we were satisfied, and finally received the documents in the post ready to sign. It’s not a cheap process by the time you have paid for additional trusts to be set up, however we can now get on with life safe in the knowledge that everything is taken care of.

I would like to thank Deborah Scully, who has been really helpful and was prepared to write to the council on our behalf if need be to stop the sale of the house. To be honest I was expecting to pay for advice and have been really impressed that 6 years on from creating the trust they have still answered my calls and offered helpful advice. Myself and my wife were visited by Paul Blackmoore and we were very impressed with his knowledge and the professional way he conducted himself. He advised us on a lot of things we had not considered and he left us with different options to consider. An appointment was arranged to come back 2 weeks later to see what we wanted to do. In my own experience they are not quick (7 weeks to print final documents) and the drafts their representative created with me were full of errors when they finally were sent to me. The advice he gave was delivered without any gimics, he left all the options and prices with us to make our decision - booked an appointment to come back a couple of weeks later and sent a letter outlining everything he had discussed.
