I had never visited Halfords before and had a few questions about some products. One of the employees, Eoin, was super friendly and gave me great advice about all the different options and even went in the back to find something that wasn’t in stock on the floor! I was nervous to visit the store initially because I didn’t know where to find what I needed but because of how pleasant my experience was, I would definitely return! Highly recommend Halfords Boucher road :)

had a problem with an item i bought ,i brought it back and was offered another one which i accepted but alas that was faulty to ,took the 2nd faulty one back just to receive a refund i did not want another one ,but the guy on the till was so helpful ,he told me a refund was not a problem but would i want to look at anything else i would maybe like to buy ,i said ok ,but then the manager from the store came to me and explained the guy on the till told him what had happened and he was very sorry this had happened and offered me a discount on a more expensive battery booster ,which i accepted ,he gave me a great discount on the different booster ,i have to say i was treated brilliantly by the staff in their store on boucher rd belfast and il be back again to buy more items from them ,100% aftersales care was given to me ,thank you very much

Got a bike with bike to work here on Wednesday. The service has been absolutely fantastic, David who looked after the bike to work and Nathan who put the bike together are so friendly but very professional. I'm so thrilled with my beautiful new bike, I had terrible luck and got a puncture after my very first ride but brought the wheel straight in today and Nathan fixed it immediately. Great friendly staff and very informative only downside was bike department is upstairs as in all their stores while downstairs it sells cans of oil and not so heavy goods surely they should swap this or even better install a lift. I visited Halfords in Boucher Road today to buy a rear windscreen wiper and have it fitted . I was very lucky to deal with Halford’s assistant, Sam. Sam went out of his way to make sure that I got a suitable wiper, despite the fact that none had shown on the computer system. He fitted it and waited to make sure that it worked correctly. I bought a bike there a few months ago and when I picked it up the swing arm bolts were loose, the rear brake caliper was mounted loose, front wheel not trued, bulge in the tube or tyre that they still can't fix. Shocking for what I paid for it. They're great if you need parts in a hurry but cycle aftersale support is poor and staff knowledge is inconsistent, some are bike techs and some are "bike techs"

We have a few choices for Halford stores in Belfast and i can't speak for all of them, but i have used the Boucher road store a few times this year. Each time i have been happy with the advice and care ive received. On my last visit i collected my new bike and had the car rack fitted. Eoin and Carl looked after me and i couldn't recommend them highly enough. They were both so thorough and helpful. And speaking as a woman, there was no hint of patronising or no question too silly or obvious. They were both brill. Customer care is an actual real thing in this store.

Liked it. Was there few days ago. It contrasts so much with my visit in JMcGarvey's Cycles today (I gave Garvey 1 star!!!). In Halfords - I came upstars - they seem across the country - to keep bikes upstairs. Went up to the guy. He was IMMEDIATELY(!) available. I presented him bolt for mounting rear derailleur that I had with me and had destroyed tread. He took it of, no need to extra talk and any show-off. Was trying it against his bikes, when at the back, asked to wait, ... came back ... "wait a minute" ... went of again to the back of the shop. Brought a fully assembled derailleur, took the part and handed to me. No pay, nothing, no-puffing. He went straight where he was when I came to work on a bike at hand. He left his work straight when I came, and came back to it when successfully (for me at least) my business was resolved. Did not pay there, but here... ... doing best to repay small little bolt (for mounting derailleur - specific bike piece) They have cheap and smart looking bikes there. Even "BUY ONE -> GET ONE FREE" if you prefer to change bike for dry one after a rain. ;-) - In a way sad for me to see that for what I spent for parts for my still not finished bike I would have good few impressing ones in Halfords. I may swap Chain Reaction Cycles (sic!) for Halfords for future - and this after BOLD disappoitment with Halfords in East London in 2012!!! Second review reqired for that!!!
