We had used Wessex before for a window installation that we were very happy with and so we used them again to fit a new window, French door and front door. The team arrived early and worked hard to fit the window and doors in one day and the work was completed to a very high standard. The chaps were pleasant, focussed and a pleasure to have around. During booking the response rate was excellent and everything was organised quickly and smoothly with regular communication from Frankie. I would recommend Wessex to anyone looking for a new installation or repair.

We had a large double glazed patio door craze during the really hot spell this summer. Wessex Glass came about 15 miles to measure up. Took a little while to get the unit made up, but that wasn’t a problem as only the inside had broken. When fitted, the fitter insisted on sweeping up the little bit of mess that he had made, even though I was happy to do it myself. The price was good - the lowest of the three quotes I got - and I found everybody I dealt with to be friendly and professional. Happy to recommend.

My order from Wessex Glass wasn't the sort of thing a company like this would do on an ordinary day. I needed two small and very specifically sized pieces of glass for some computer-based artwork. I first contacted the company almost a year ago and was given a very very reasonable quote, but had to put my project on pause for a while, and ended up leaving the guys at Wessex Glass out of the loop. When I got back to the team about two weeks ago, they still remembered my project and responded right away to my email, giving me a fresh quote and helping me through the process of choosing the perfect glass for my project. They even called me up to confirm all of my measurements before finalising everything. They told me that the glass would take around 10 days to prepare, but my order was ready in less than 7, and I was able to collect it right away. I was already very happy with the service I'd received, but it all got a lot better once I actually picked up the glass. As far as I can tell, the size is perfect down to 0.1mm (I don't have a tool to measure more precisely), and this is great to see given the difficulties which come with cutting tempered glass. Along with being perfectly sized, the glass came with polished and bevelled edges - this is something which is rarely included, often costs a small fortune as an add on option from other companies, and was something I thought I'd be stuck doing myself. That brings me onto the price. If I ignore the fact that the edges were finished for me, Wessex Glass' price is still around 13% lower than my next cheapest option - and around 20% if the edges are factored in. This leads me to believe that you will struggle to find a better deal anywhere else. All in all, Wessex Glass made the experience of ordering a weird one-off product as easy as it could possibly be, without charging the high price which usually comes along with such a service. I'd happily recommend them to anyone, and am looking forward to working with Frankie, Ben, and Lorraine again in the future. Thanks guys - if I could give you more stars, I definitely would!

Fabulous service from my main man Ben! Not only was he unbelievably quick at replying to my query for a quote, he was able to price the job within 2 minutes of my original call to the company. He was around just the next day to replace my damaged windows, working with such skill and speed that you may imagine it to not be compatible with a good job! My partner broke a window and I was so stressed as the weather is supposed to be horrendous this weekend, but Martin from Wessex was able to come out and fix it the next day and the work was to such a high standard that other than needing a lick of paint when the seal's dry, you honestly can't tell the difference at all. Needed a window replaced. I called Wessex Water as they have 5 stars on google which looked impressive. Guess what! I called up and they 1. Answered the phone when I rang (not all business’s do this). 2. Gave me a quote over the phone (very reasonable) 3. Gave me a date and time for the repair which they delivered on. While this may sound like a normal repair job, I find that many businesses fail to deliver on at least one of the above points. Hence why Wessex Water get 5 stars from me. Well done and keep up the good work.

Wessex Glass have shown themselves to be absolute professionals, right from the moment I called to obtain a quote through to when settling up the invoice. I required two new windows and a number of panes fitting, on of which needed to house a dog flap in a French door. My requirements were listened to and noted, I provided a few photographs sent over via email and then Frankie came over to measure and price up the job. I was then given an accurate quotation, duly paid the 50% deposit and everything was ordered. A little while later I was given an install date, the night before install I received a confirmation phone call and the following day the gentlemen arrived at the time given in the confirmation call. The set to work and had the job done neatly and with minimal disturbance to us, they were also very diligent in sweeping up any mess made during the install. I really cannot recommend this company enough, the double glazing trade has a negative stigma attached but this company completely blows that away, there are no hidden extras, no pushiness, just great expertise and professionalism shown by every team member.
