Im really happy with my new Hybrid bike after a minor adjustment. Gary quickly took the time to accommodate my needs after having a little bit of hassle booking an appointment over the phone with the support team, on dropping into the store he took the time to give my bike a quick once over. I now feel my bike is a lot more comfortable now I was impressed with his customer service skills although the store was really busy.

Attended the store and was warmly greeted by Luke, I came in to find some advice regarding a balance bike for my son Tobias. He was a little worried and Luke was totally professional and engaged with me and my son regarding our balance bike requirements. The staff in the this store are unbelievably professional, I witnessed them unfortunately having to deal with some rather rude customers, one child and there father riding bikes around the store completely ignoring staffs pleas that this was not allowed. Totally professional thanks Luke and staff!!

Went in tonight after the front wheel on my kids mountain bike had come off. I never realised how busy a department it was and that I really should have booked the bike in with them. Darren told me not to worry and he would take a look at it there and then if I brought it in. He spotted the issue straight away and was able to correct it and offer advice on how to prevent it happening again. He also tested the gears/brakes and blew the tyres up. What a brilliant experience from start to finish. Well played Darren 👏

Was in last week for a bike check. It needed a good clean up and a new inside tube. It also needed two new pedals. I was in on the Friday and informed it would be ready for the following Monday or Tuesday. I got a call later the same day to say the bike was ready for collection. I left it to the Saturday as I had just finished a tennis match and was a bit sore. When I went to pick it up it was good as new. An excellent and professional job. The member of staff was also very friendly and took time out to explain everything. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Halfords to family or friends.

What a brilliant experience from the servicing department for my recent bike service. Professional, courteous, knowledgable, quick. Can’t praise the employee who carried out the service enough (sorry cant find details to remind me of his name 😩) I was eligible for the bike repair scheme too which came as a surprise and an added bonus but would never have know if I hadn’t been informed by the service engineer. Looking forward to many hours of happy cycling.

These guys went the extra mile for me. Having had a flat tire, I went to Halfords to have it changed, unfortunately it was too late in the evening to have it changed but I was told I could park it there and they post my car key through the door of the (closed) garage next door to work on it first thing in the morning. I soon realised I had left my house keys in the car and with no access to my car key, the guys spent the best part of an hour creating all sorts of contraptions to poke through a gap in my window to either open the car door or hook my keys and get them out for me. They finally succeeded getting the keys out...half an hour after they had closed! It was really kind of them to stay on passed their working hours and really went above and beyond!

Had a great experience while getting my 10 point check service for my car. Tanvir explained everything he’d be checking with me, advising me on what may need done and also sending a full report to me via email. While I waited I spoke to Jamie about audio I was hoping to purchase. I was given informed choices on both matters and never felt under pressure to buy anything from them. My oil was low which I knew I had at home and I knew one of my bulbs had gone the day before but I was more than happy for that to be fixed while I was there after being given the choices of bulbs and the prices. After my old bike packed in I decided to get a new bike instead of trying to repair it for the umpteenth time. A family member ordered the bike for me and I easily was able to go into store within a few days at a time of my choosing to collect my bike. I showed up half an hour early but the staff were friendly and polite and served me early, presumably because it wasn't peak hours, but I still appreciate the gesture. Their attendant Mark was really knowledgable and gave me some useful tips about bike care, answered all my questions with patience and ensured my bike seat was at the proper height for me before I set off. I will definitely be coming back and I hope others take advantage of the great services they have on offer here.

Every time I go here I think I the staff are just great. Mark took a tired, clunky grinder of an mtb, slapped about 2 parts on it, along with a replacement chain and brake pads, gave it some TLC in the way that I cant, and now the bike is running like a greased whippet! The other staff I have seen are always friendly & helpful too. Definitely coming here for all my bike needs in future.

I went in for a set of window wipers which I couldn’t find. A member of staff was able to find the ones that I required. Due to the box being damaged I was offered free fitting which I thought was a nice touch. The member of staff was very polite and extremely helpful throughout.

What was quoted to be a simple 30 minute wait to get pre-ordered number plates fitted turned in to a 90 minute ordeal. I cannot fault the staff but there just weren't enough. Also, whilst standing waiting it was abundantly clear that their old fashioned push/pull doors were inoperable for many customers - totally unusable by a parent with a buggy, a customer with mobility issues and customers with bicycles getting repaired. Playing doorman kept me busy for those 90 mins!

Absolutely brilliant service. Jacqui and Charlie in the autocentre were great at getting the car booked in, and kept me up to date as things progressed with the car. The entire experience was flawless and the mechanics were able to get the work done on my car in a short space of time to a really high standard. Fraser who served me was incredibly helpful, really helped me set my bike to exactly how I wanted it and explained in detail how to care for and maintain the bike. Quick visit for brake fluid. Met at the front door by a very efficient young man who ascertained my requirements, directed me straight to the product asking me to comply with the covid rules in store and touch only the item I was buying. Took my bike in a week ago because my rear tyre was worn. Mark did a great job by replacing the old tyre for a much better one. I went in again a week later because the brakes were squealing and Mark went out of his way to get it back up and running. He even gave some very useful tips and pointers for bike maintenance. Had a nightmare of a day and the staff helped make it better. Picked up a bike, lock, helmet, lights. Got them all home and found the bike lock wouldn't open. Called the store and they told me to bring it back. Started to cycle back to the store and the bike chain broke, snapped completely off. Had to run all the way to Rutherglen with the bike to get there before closing as needed bike to get to work next day. I didn't make it before closing. One of the few places that has consistently nailed service and COVID guidelines during the pandemic. The staff are tremendously helpful and very knowledgeable about products they stock. People have said to me “Halfords is expensive”. Well I price checked all the items I bought against Amazon after I left and guess what: Halfords was equal to or cheaper than every single item. I’d rather my money went to a store run as well as this one any day of the week anyway, instead of tax-dodging Bezos!
