B.Was looking for a particular car seat but Halfords no longer stock it, I went into my local store who checked on the system and said another store 35 mins away has 1. I spoke to the manager in northampton called daniel and he was soo helpful, didn’t stop looking until he had his hands on it! B. W.Probably the most popular car and bicycle store for the general public. With so many retail outlets closing or converting to online only, it has created it's own niche in the market. I was a little disappointed though, I wanted a car stereo and although there was a large choice on display, in reality they only had 1 in stock! Who ever is in charge of stock control is missing the point.

A. M.Visited my local Halfords after being told a brake light was broken. Within 15 minutes of arriving I was leaving with a working fitted brake light all done at a very reasonable cost. Well done Halfords.
f. g.I went in to pick up a click and collect item and was served by a really cheerful young lad (Louis). He was very polite and had a sense of humour, it just seemed to give the service a bit more of a personal touch. More Sales assistants need this cheerful approach.
P. J.Spent a £50 works voucher on several items. After some confusion with the original e voucher and a replacement I headed to Halfords for the collection. I guess I expected my three clothing items to be sealed rather than off the shelf items. Nevertheless they were the items I ordered. One of the three items seemed rather bigger in size than the other two despite them all being large. Generally a simple process of click and collect.
B. A.Perfect. From entering the store to leaving, was treated with kindness and professionalism. Every staff member was helpful and was willing to go above and beyond. Was my first visit to the store and was so impressed I will be returning for all of my cycling needs from now on.
P. S.I ordered a battery on line for my son's car as it had failed to start until I jump started it. Unfortunately I managed to order the wrong battery so when the guy came to fit it he brought it to my attention. He could not have been more helpful, checking to see if Halfords had the right battery in stock and telling us the options. He then said he would get his battery checker to see if the battery needed replacing. He tested it and the battery was fine and didn't need replacing. He said I would get a refund from PayPal but that it might take a few days. In the event the money was refunded within 1 hour.
Fantastic service and such honesty and helpfulness. I can recommend it without reservation based on my experience. I don't know the name of the guy that came to fit the battery but I would like to say a big thank you to him. He was a credit to Halfords.
C. F.I had an appointment to be shown how to fit a new bikerack to my car. I arrived on time but the technician was held up as the previous customer had bought a large roof box for a relatively small car - it was hard to fit the box without interfering with the radio arial. The technician patienttly sorted out the problem and was 20 minutes late to give me help. He did this with a smile and apologies and was focused on meaking sure my rack was fitted correctly and that I understood the details of fitting it to the lid of the boot. We left very satisfied customers.

A. C.I was very impressed with the repair service on my bike. I had a new tube fitted, then I asked if Ben could fit a new mudguard on the front as I’d broken mine. He did both, adjusted my brakes and lubricated my chain as I left the store. He also answered lots of my questions about the new bikes on sale, and my bike. Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable, I’d say he tries hard to keep Halfords’s customers happy.
p. h.Price on line was 7.20 and 7.90 and 13.99. Yet in store paid 11.00 11.00 and 13.99. Even with click and collect prices were the lower. Staff just said it was online /Web only price. So why have lower prices on click and collect yet in store its full price? Is this a case of halfords ripping customers off again?
D. M. (.Frenchy was an asset to halfords. She was informative, professional and so down to earth. Took a genuine interest and didnt seem in a rush to finish serving me. She made me feel special and i genuinely forgot she was an employee because she treated me with respect and i felt so at ease as if she was a mate. Incredible. She helped better my results on my bike by informing me of various products designed to improve the appearance. R. E.Needing some new windscreen wiper blades, I popped into the weedon road Halford store. Not knowing, which blades my car uses, I gave the woman on the desk my car registration. She found the right details and suggested a couple of different makes. She advised me to go back to my car and park it under the canopy. Within 5 minutes a young man came out and changed my blades. He double checked that they were the right ones and fitted properly. He informed me of different services Halford provide and ask me to go inside to pay for my wiper blades. It was a very pleasant experience, with social distances kept to. Thank you, for your wonderful effort 👏

Purchased a new mountain bike, and was told about all the services they have to offer. Wasn't pressured in to anything to buy.
G. M.It worked very well for me on this occasion. I ordered on line and paid for two head light bulbs. When I arrived I didn't have to wait at all and the job was soon done. They were very quiet though. On a previous occasion I waited ages. Got fed up and went home ending up doing the job myself.

A. L.Store staff very supportive and understanding when they managed to deal with a major mess up from the online ordering system on the Halfords website. Ordered a dash cam in December (accidently ordered 2 so spoke to the online team and they refunded 1 camera) and delivery was delayed to local Northampton Weedon Road store. Online help team advised it would be delivered on the 8th Jan 2021. Date passed and when I spoke to them again (11th Jan 2021) they advised the items were delivered to store but as I didn't collect them within 7 days they were returned. 7 days after 8th Jan 2021 is 15th Jan on my calendar! Anyway, spoke to store and they advised they never had the items delivered so they wouldn't have returned them to the warehouse. They said they would help me out and I attended and managed to secure the dash camera I wanted. They printed out my order number but it said both ordered cameras had been refunded (funny that as only received 1 refund) so from their perspective the refund had gone through. I showed my credit card online account and it cleared showed 2 purchases with only 1 refund. Anyway, understandably they couldn't just let me have the camera without paying as their cancelled order printout said I had been refunded the full amount (which I hadn't) so I did pay for another camera and they were apologetic with the issues I was having with the online customers services team and the whole online purchases that has gone horribly wrong. So no issues in the store, Manager came over to discuss and he was fun, and social distancing was adhered to in store - anti bac also available. I'm still £99.99 down so will have to raise a charge back from my credit card company.
So lesson learnt, buy the item in store to avoid horrors of the online customer services chat team and the online ordering never turning up in store! In my situation the online purchase/delivery was a complete failure but the physical Halfords store helped me out. Goes to show that online is not always the best!

i. c.Many thanks to Cameron for the smooth handover of my new bike ,he explained the warranty and what is covered and what is not covered, I took out the 1 year warranty for £25.00 and this covers most things that can go wrong on a bike,unlimited inner tube replacements ,brake and gear adjustments and a service say after 6 months,all these things can be done at any halfords store not just where you bought the bike from,but do not forget to keep receipts.

E.Popped in to buy a headlamp bulb and have it fitted. Sam the fitter was fantastic a clip on the bulb wasn't on properly and he said he would also do this. This proved to be a bigger job than 1st anticipated but Sam stuck at it, fixed it and replaced the bulb certainly got our £8 worth. Well done Sam

D. W.I've purchased some amazingly lower than the internet bargains here recently. Halfords 4 litres of 5/40 fully synthetic car engine oil £12.00 and Wynn's Injector Cleaner For Diesel Engines 325ml £5. The staff are very helpful and for a small fee of £10 they will fit light bulbs or windscreen blades. I also needed a new car battery so I shopped around all the automobile trade outlets in the area for prices and Halfords were by far the lowest price for a better battery and they also fitted it for less than you would expect £10. I would like to see more LED lighting options available in store and the NCC managed road that leads to the store resurfaced as it is full of potholes worn out and way past its sell by date.

C.Review of staff members, I broke down on weedon road was waiting 5hours for the RAC with a phone battery that was not going to last, a female staff member never caught her name let me charge my phone and even got me a bottle of water even tho I wasn't a paying customer I was just stranded. After 4 hours waiting a family member came out to look at my car and found a way to get it going enough to get it to a garage myself and bought a few things from Halfords to make it work so the lady got a sale in the end. But can't exaggerate how friendly the staff were.

0. 0.My car started making an awful grinding noise as I was about to drive home to Cardiff. I called in at Halfords Tyres Northampton, and the service I received both at reception and by Elvis the mechanic was excellent. My car was inspected immediately, the problem rectified (it was a stone between the brake drum and the wheel) and they wouldn't even charge me for it, despite me offering a tip! 20 minutes later, I was on my way, with a smile on my face. Bravo, Halfords! Many thanks for helping me out.

M. S.Made the shop bigger but it's useless. No tools for doing car brakes and very few makes of car parts stocked. In today's world people want things today. Also prices of things such as windscreen wipers are more than 7 times higher for same brand at euro car parts. Far to expensive, people should shop elsrw
