13.06.2022 Came to get my daughter a helmet for her scooter. First time I've bought one and couldn't fit it on properly. We went upstairs to the bike area and the sales assistant was very helpful, tried the helmet on, made sure it was a good it and not wobbly, asked my daughter to hit is had with her head. Service was friendly and very helpful. Would recommend as so much choice and not too long a wait.

Steve, the store manager was an absolute gentleman, and listened to my complaint and was quick to help and was truly a customer champion. FANTASTIC CUSTER SERVICE and an OUTSTANDING experience with the branch, which was clean and everyone seemed happy to work there. Buying a child car seat is a minefield if you’re a clueless grandparent. David at the Barker St store in Norwich guided us in a really patient friendly manner and demonstrated how to fit it correctly. The parts Department Person was very helpful in that he suggested where to look on my vehicle for the information, unfortunately it wasn't there. A quick phone call to my Dealership produced the number that was needed. The Parts Manager then showed me the tin of paint and a tin of undercoat needed to complete my job. 10/10

This isn’t so much a shoutout to Halfords but more to your main man Finn (Yorkshire accent) on the quick fixes up front. On many occasion I have found myself in need of vehicle help and he goes above and beyond to get you fixed and back on your way. He has a wealth of knowledge, with lots of extra tips and tricks 👍🏻 If anyone In management reads this, give him a serious pat on the back, you have a winner there!

I went to buy a bulb and needed help selecting the bulb and fitting it. The gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and kind, saying that the idea was to keep all stress to a minimum. The whole experience was top notch.

I had a £17 air con diagnostic after buying a car last January and realising the air con system was highly pressurised. I arrived at 11:20am to leave my car and ventured into the city. At about half 2, I called to see where they were up to as I wasn’t sure whether to stay in the city or head home and get my car later. I held for almost 20 minutes before getting through to someone, and was advised it was still being investigated. I went home and got a call an hour or so later to confirm they’d finished. Ultimately, for me, the compressor was the issue and this would be almost £700 to fix. With that said, my car won’t be the most comfortable in the summer months as I don’t have that kind of money for the privilege of air con. The staff member I spoke with was a really nice guy, and despite the long hold time, I think 4 stars is fair as I ultimately got the answer to my problem. On another note, they fixed my girlfriend’s air con a few weeks prior and it only cost her £33 on top of the £17 investigative fee. Just know they can’t give you a time for pick up, and prepare to leave your vehicle for some time. This is probably not a big issue for most, as you can leave it in the morning and pick up whenever.

Provided a good service for the scheduled full service. An invoice was sent with details of the service and advisory points to rectify. This included two new tyres. The invoice included a quote but for the wrong size tyres for the tyre, which is disappointing as the car had just been serviced and could cause problems should purchased tyres online.

Ordered my son a new bike which wasn’t in store to see. The bike arrived quickly but unfortunately my son caught Covid so we couldn’t get there to try it at the agreed time. Called the call centre quickly and easily and they assured me the bike would be held for me which was reassuring to me and my son. Telephone service was abysmal but I understand that this is a new contract for them. The young man, Ian, who did my car was polite, helpful and experienced. He also told me of the 10 Point Check and did it, never messed me about, just oil needed. Light bulb fixed. Top marks Ian. Visited Halfords this evening to have two brake light replaced, and the staff were amazing. I only had to wait a few minutes for a lovely guy called Steve to come and replace the bulbs for me - he was friendly and happy to chat whilst he worked. The job was a little more complicated than anticipated thanks to my car light covers being tricky to remove but he carried out the work with a smile and fitted me two new lights without a fuss! All in all finished in about 25 minutes which is amazing considering I didn't have to book an appointment. Thanks again Steve! :)

I took my 30 year old Raleigh Amazon bike to Halfords at Barker Street, Norwich for an assessment and maintenance. Scott was friendly and approachable and clearly explained what work was needed and the best price. John carried out the work, clearly explaining what he had done. Declan did some more work on the bike and again, gave a good explanation of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. I was pointed in the right direction by a friendly team member, The product I order was available as promised, the collection process was easy and there was no queue at the collection point. I would use the click and collect again. The hedges are a tad large and encroaching on the parking spaces and as the car park is relatively small it would be handy if the hedges were cut right back or removed.

Parking space and access is rather narrow and limited if you have a larger vehicle. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable as always . Site is clean and tidy and as opposed to the parking space, there is ample room within the building for customers to browse around. Please expand parking access and create more space on the road to be able to enter and exit safely

My first trip after purchasing my first car. Very helpful staff who helped me with my purchase. II don't know anything about cars so I was really impressed that there are computer system for customers that tell you exactly the type of oil you need for your car. No queuing at till at all and good social distancing measures in place. 4 stars because the lighting was quite dark so felt a bit gloomy in there - that can't be good for the staff.

I recently purchased online a front and rear Dash Cam from Halfords Norwich. I paid for the fitting and on Tuesday visited the store for the fitting appointment. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The fitting took a little over 2 hours and when i returned I could see that a very professional job had been carried out. The unit bas been hired wired into the cars electrics with no trailing wires of any sort. The whole job looks like it was fitted at the time of manufacture! Staff were available to explain how it all works. I would have no hesitation in recommending Halfords Norwich to anyone. First Class Job and thank you to all those I came into contact with!

Had to get my front ragged windscreen wipers blades replaced for the first time not in a service station/garage. I was approached by a male assistant who helped me to select the blades and then fitted them straightaway, all in a friendly manner. Luckily I'd managed to drive to Halfords without turning on my wipers, as it had only started to rain during the last few seconds. It was pure bliss to use the new ones on the drive home - no more squinting through a smeared screen. As they are upgrades on my old ones, I'm hoping they'll stay this good for longer than usual.

My car battery completely failed whilst I was in a city centre car park. I googled Halfords and saw a jump start unit was available for click & collect. I ordered it online using my phone and caught a bus to my local Halfords in Barker Street Norwich. As I walked across Halfords car park I received a message to say my order was ready. I went to the click & collect area and the staff member knew all about it. Less than a minute after entering I left the store with my purchase. I caught a bus back to the car park and connected the jump start unit to my car. It started first time and I drove home. How perfect is that? Well done Halfords!

It's 5stars for Declans help but 1star for the way we have been treated today in shop, when we went to pick up the bike we ordered. We had an appointment at 1 but made to wait in the queue in the sun for 20 minutes then sent in. When we got in we had a gentleman shouting out at us in the whole shop, literally the whole shop turned to look at us and told us we are not allowed because there are too many people etc. I understand the covid rules etc. But we were sent in by the person who was guiding the outside queue, I think things could be managed more calmly and with professionalism rather than be treated like we stolen a bike and try to run out with it. What's the point in having an appointment booked if you don't have anyone managing them, and you end up waiting an hour? Also after a nearly an hour wait the bike wasn't even fully fitted so we had to wait longer for the lights and bottle holder to be fitted And I just came back from my Covid vaccination and my son with me. I know everyone is stressed etc but Please treat people with kindness!

Clean store, plenty of free parking (during the day when its not so busy), reasonable prices. Had a voucher that was near expiry so had to use it in Halfords but normally would have looked online as Halford's prices are a little high. But at least you can look at the stuff before you buy, (wherever that may be).

Strangely, given what Halfords sells the parking is a bit awkward and it’s not the biggest of car parks - I always park up next door outside ScrewFix and walk around. The store is spacious and the signage is high up and clear. As with most Halfords, the staff are knowledgable and helpful. I was asked for my email so I could receive an e-receipt, only to be signed up to a news letter and a stack of junk in my inbox. Yes it’s a magnet for Chavs and Ford owners but where else are you going to go for your Christmas tree air fresheners?

I took my car to have my a baby car seat fitted for my Grandson. Today I used the Click & Collect service for the first time and all went well except that my Trade Card number (Ive had it since 2003) kept being rejected...So I continued the order anyway as I needed the stuff. I contacted the HAlfords Chatline and told them my predicament and then I went and collected the stuff, which was quick and easy, by-passing a long queue of other shoppers waiting for a space in the shop. Fantastic experience in Halfords last Wednesday - had a problem with bike so went in seeking tools to attempt to sort problem - staff member Declan, made sure I had all tools required, then invited me to bring bike in to double check that I was doing the right works. Both deliveries were on time even in these unprecedented times and the service for click and collect was great too. Only issue I have is with the last bike which was received today by delivery there was slight damage to my handlebar which was probably done in transit, there was a hole in the box just where the damage was, that the only reason why I marked it down to 4 stars rather than 5. I would still order just maybe do click and collect next time.

My recent experience with Halfords was not good I found staff rude and not very helpful even though they sold my reserved click and collect order the female staff member could not see that it was the stores fault and not the customers I logged a complaint via email which I didn't expect to get a response! However I was contacted by Alex the store manager within a couple of days who was very apologetic for the customer care I had received and proceeded to offer to upgrade my tool kit to the advanced 200 piece set at no extra charge! Alex was happy to hear my feedback and took on-board my comments he was very positive and said that he would be dealing with the issues I had raised. So although my initial experience was not great it was resolved by Alex his customer care skills were 2nd to none! So what would have been a 1 star review and a customer spending elsewhere is now 5 Stars. Thanks to Alex

Needed a headlight bulb for our Audi A3, went to one other place and they couldn't get access to fit it. Called Audi main dealer and was quoted £182 for the Xenon bulb (but they don't charge to fit it!), went to Halfords and explained it was a bit difficult to get to, but even though it took quite a while, Fin at the Norwich branch managed to replace it - and all for the usual cost of £8. Plus the Xenon bulb came in at £60. Fantastic service and price by comparison to Audi themselves.

Halfords in Norich is a really helpful place. I had a new AGM stop start battery on my golf, it came with a five year guarantee with is 2 years longer than most and it was cheaper than most as well.Just a shame they charge and extra £25 to fit though, I would like to see this a part of the service or reduced to £5, after all, it took all of 5 mins to fit!

I agree that the store is often under-staffed but I have found them to be very helpful. I must give credit to the cycle staff who have sometimes fixed things for free and also supplied the odd nut or bolt for free as well. My major gripe is that I sometimes park my bicycle/motorcycle near to the fitting bays and there is often a lot of debris on the ground around there which could cause a puncture.

Went in looking for new speakers for my truck, absolutely clueless when it comes to audio (I've had motorcycles my whole life so never needed speakers) Waited around for a bit to find somebody to help but everyone was busy (which is fair enough, for those leaving bad reviews because off this, open your eyes and learn patience!) Chap called Fin who I believe was a fitter came over and offered his help, absolutely spot on service, great advice and was even kind enough to let me offer some up to my speaker slots to make sure I get the right product. Bought the Pioneer speakers as recommended, value for money can't fault them, fitted a treat, overall good experience, will definately be back to Halfords for more bits and bobs. I work in the motorcycle trade so I understand the trade and the frustration some people have, but please don't let others bad reviews put you off simply because the cogs of the industry didn't stop immediately for some people😉 Thanks again to Fin and the team for pointing me through it all, if a manager sees this please give the man some recognition as he truly deserves it!
