Been going in for batteries twice now,and the batteries do last 5 years. Went in the benign hope I could get a roof rack for my 30 year old car. Not only did I get lucky but the guy went out and fitted it for me while smiling all the time and regaling me with fascinating stories about cars. Admittedly I did have to wait a while before I got served but I don't let that sort of thing phase me out lol.

I have used DRB for years and have always had excellent and knowledge service here … not always resulting in being sold something. Over those years I have had new batteries supplied and fitted (or not if a replacement was not required). Bought quality car audio equipment at reasonable prices. Yesterday, I bought new windscreen wiper blades and headlight bulbs, which were kindly fitted before leaving without fuss … which is far better than the experience of having the same done (at an additional cost) by big H just up the road. Cannot recommend DRB too highly … and not just for car bits either … if you are into cycling or touring, they have a wide stock of most that you'll need. Doing a bit of DiY and need the odd tool or two … well they have that covered too.

Popped in today for a dipped beam headlight bulb. Nothing was too much trouble and the exceptionally helpful man at the till, even fit the bulb for me in seconds. I've been using his shop since it opened years back and when I'm in warrington I won't go anywhere else.

Excellent service - I needed a headlight bulb replacing and the gentleman fitted it for me at no extra cost - while I was there I said I had struggled to take off my engine oil cap as I needed to top it up so he very kindly helped and topped my oil up too - who needs Halfords!
