Helpful staff in-store at the service desk and on the 'forecourt' car park service area. I asked about car care and this was met with a positive, curious response- "How can we help?"; "What seems to be happening with the car?"; "What service are you keen on..?" This was followed by our exploring what product I wished to get a hold of (namely new lamp bulbs and wipers as one of each respect set was kaput). The service team was notified (Josh & Kai). Each was professionally attentive and informative. The car check was carried out diligently:- tyre pressures taken, and I was minded of the optimal pressures for the model of my car; oil check done; and screen wash topped up. I do carry out these checks and here felt more assured as carried out by trained personnel). Spot checks picked up other small issues which the team put right. The wiper rubber was perished on one wiper blade and I was keen to keep the same chronology and bought a new pair. I was also informed of the pricing difference of single and double replacements without bias to any purchase outcome. Very pleased with the service. Car is very happy!

The staff member who I collected my bike from was incredibly helpful. He was very polite and professional, helped me pick accessories that suited my needs and budget, explained how the controls worked well (very handy, as this is the same bike as my old one, but, my very first electric bike) and also, I really appreciated him helping us get the bike in the car and being so accommodating and patient with my toddler having to come along. Very grateful that it was also easy to adjust the time of the appointment over the phone, as we ended up having to collect it an hour earlier. Thank you, Halford’s!

Last week (Thurs Dec 30th) I took my ageing Dawes Tourer bike into Halfords for a free bike check and new parts to be fitted. I picked it up yesterday (Mon Jan 3rd 2022) but when I cycled out this morning the chain came off. This was not Halfords' fault - its a flaw in the bike design (gear shift mechanism) that's been there for 29 years. So I took it back to the team today and they untangled the chain and adjusted the gear shift mechanism for me. As I'd spent a reasonable amount of money on the repairs they did it on the spot and for free. I just wanted to record the excellent customer service I received today. They were expert, welcoming and just got on with it. Big thanks to Ben and Jason D for today and Morgan for the original repairs. Halfords are a brand I would like to see succeed and I really rate the people they employ.

I popped down to my local Halfords at Blackpole with my grandsons bike whose tyres were constantly deflating and required pumping up every time he used it. I was greeted very warmly and asked if they could investigate and repair for me. There were 3 members of staff who between them decided what would be the way forward and I left the bike with them. Half an hour later I returned and picked up the repaired bike. They had ‘slimed’ the tyres like my other grandsons which is guaranteed for 2 years and is brilliant, no more pumping up all the time, fantastic! Thank you Halfords you’ve done it again, would definitely recommend both the staff and the repair and the cost was also very reasonable.

Purchased a bmx from halfords yesterday for my 7 yr old boy along with horn.Decided to pay extra 10 pounds for assembly.on pickup i noticed they had scratched the black paint through to the metal...on asking about it the fitter said yeh my manager done it????therefore i cant complain to the manager as he done it.we are pleased overall althoygh it took the shine of the experience as my son keeps pointinf out the missing paint..bit cross reall and expected more from halfords when spending £155...i hope they see this ...a gift card might be appropriate and lessons learnt!!!

Brilliant service. My battery had died so had to keep my car running once it had been jump started. I drove to Halfords and phoned them when outside the store. I was able to purchase a new battery without leaving my car and the halfords guy came out to me and fitted it. Very effecient and reassuring. Even made sure my radio was restarted by finding the code. Fantastic thank you.

The actual bike mechanic team are clearly very competent (Morgan and Ben) and do a very good job in both diagnosing and repairing. However the Halfords telephone customer services and communication is absolutely appalling. I wasn’t called when my bike was ready to collect and the two calls I made (seemingly a call centre) resulted in no updates as the phone wasn’t being answered in the store. In both cases I was told that a manager would call me with an update - somewhat unsurprisingly this never happened either. The second time this was offered I refused and asked to speak to a manager. I’d probably still be on hold now if I hadn’t given up after 10 minutes of waiting on hold. In the end I had to drive to the store and found my bike ready to collect - and probably had been for a day or two Rubbish service and justifies why I always said I would buy the bike there but take any service work elsewhere. Unfortunately the remedial work needed was covered by the warranty as the issue was caused by a build failure.

Great experience. We had Samuel taking care of us and he was wonderful! He was helping us with my bicycle, various accessories, and he went above and beyond!!! Great things in stock despite covid and the amendment to space, although online has lots more choice so pre-order if you are after something specific. Really good prices which surprised me, they were very similar to Amazon and you get the bonus of recommendation and help. I will be back for whatever I need next, worth it!

I needed a replacement battery for my BMW 330ci, as mine was completely flat. Only problem was, my car was in a car park @ 1 mile away from Halfords. I was bracing myself to carry the heavy battery the mile back to my car, as I had no other way of getting it to the car. On hearing this, Alex who served me, volunteered to put the battery in his own car, and drive it to where my car was parked, straight away (due to COVID laws, he couldn't give me a lift back to my car - TBH, I was just grateful I didn't have to carry the battery) Customer care and service above and beyond what they could have done - I am seriously impressed!

Popped in as suggested by someone in PC World to get a cardboard box for an exchange and the chap who I spoke to was friendly and helpful. He found me a box large enough and gave it to me for free and even carried it to my car! Great service given that I didn't even buy anything.

Called into this branch today Sun 23rd june 2019 looking for something to re-stick drivers mirror lens back on a BMW 3 series car. Spoke to Paul who recommended using number plate tape as this is possible to remove if the lens needed to be removed again. Went the extra mile explaining that BMW and Vauxhall had both used the same mirror supplier and the adhesive on these turned powdery over time with lenses falling out. He also said the French manufacturer who made replacement mirrer lenses was saved from going out of business because of these problems. I mentioned that I had only owned this car just over a week and that it came with very little service history but I'd managed to trace the dealership originally supplying the car and they had emailed me some of the dates the car had been back in to them for work. He then very helpfully suggested that car retailers are actually obligated to provide a stamped service although unsigned upon request. Top bloke very obliging, also Holly on the checkout very efficient and pleasant. Well done Halfords, saved me a load of money and gave me this very valuable information. Cost of numberplate tape £2.99 just used it and excellent product with alcohol wipe to clean surfaces. BMW would have charged £40, independant windscreen man wanted £20 but never arrived.

I needed a replacement wing mirror for my car. Hayley was extremely helpful and informative at the till about how to get the correct one for my car. Within a few minutes of giving my cars registration number I had been sent to the two men behind the counter at the back of the store who quickly supplied me with the mirror I needed.

First time I have used halfords for tyres, being ex trade I know how to shop around. I needed tyres quickly got what I wanted at a competitive price. They did not have stock however got the tyres to store in 20 minutes. Fitted within 30 minutes.
