Ordered and paid for a Graco birth-4years child seat at the Wrexham store. Told it would be ready for collection in 2 days. Went this morning to collect and turned out never ordered and they no longer stocked this seat! The guy we saw was so apologetic and offered us a better seat for the same price. Couldn’t fault their handling of this and a big well deserved thank you

Staff are slow and dawdling. Long queue, spend too much time chatting to customers. When it was my turn to pick up an order they couldn't find it. It was right in front of them! I had to go into the cage myself and get it. Ridiculous. First and last time here, will continue to use Rhyl instead.

I popped to the Wrexham store to enquire about roof rails and a roof box. I purchased both items on 2 separate occasions and was extremely happy with the service I received. Been to this store many times as it has a good range From car parts.. Electrical products stereos /sat nav.etc . But personally enjoy looking at the great range of hand tools and some of the socket sets which are fantastic quality have a lifetime guarantee..

An amazing service provided. Needed new headlight for my daughters car before an MOT test and was ordered, picked up and fitted (in the middle of storm Barra) by Halfords in less than 2 hours for £15...!! I highly recommend these guys.

I needed to get a rear number plate bulb fitted, so thought I’d book it for the Saturday after New Year’s Day, but was amazed to discover that not only were they open on New Year’s Day, but could also fit the bulb for me within the hour! The whole process from start to finish was so easy, and the staff were both friendly and efficient....they even carried out a free bulb check on all my other lights, and I was done, dusted and away from there all within 20 minutes! Great service, great staff and great customer service!

We visited halfords in Wrexham on our holidays because we had an issue with our roof bars. The staff could not have been more helpful. Nobody was available at the time who was experienced at dealing with the problem, but we were told if we came back that afternoon then a member of the late shift team could help us. Nothing is too much trouble, she is so friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the bikes you stock. She made the whole process easy and without hassle. Phoned Wrexham contact number and got through to help centre who then put me through to Wrexham. Needed to take 2 bikes for their silver cycle care. Spoke to a very helpful female in the cycle department who explained that I need to go on line and book 2 separate half hour slots. Slots available for first thing the following day, booked the 2 next to next really easily. Dropped the bikes off the next day, contact details checked and explained issues we were having with one bike which was resolved in front of us. Left bikes there then had phone call an hour later that both bikes were ready to collect. Both bikes working perfectly again now, gears and brakes like new. Felt very safe whilst in the shop. Hand sanitizer available as you walk in. Everyone in there respected everyone elses space. Would definitely recommend their shop. All the people I have dealt with in the last year in the cycle department have been brilliant with their help and advice. Many thanks.

Halfords often (inexplicably) get a bad press but my experiences there have always been excellent, they’ve even helped me out before with free stuff that was now obsolete that they had hanging around in the back(spare parts). Can’t fault them!

I am disappointed with this purchase after reading good reviews of the 5 draw tool cabinet. After initially unpacking the tool cabinet I noticed a smallish dent on the bottom front corner, which I was willing to except as it looked quite innocuous. But after fitting the castors I discovered that the actual body of the cabinet was twisted causing the cabinet to rock on it castors. I have now had to fit a packer under one of castors to alleviate this problem. I was going to return the tool cabinet, but decided I could live with the faults, especially as it would mean me having to man handle it back in my car and then drive a round trip of 34 miles!

Headlight bulb difficult to fit on my car, requiring access through the wheel arch, or removal of the air filter. Fitter did a marvellous job in the rain, at night, under the Halfords gazebo. Great value for money.

I received excellent customer service at Halfords Wrexham yesterday. I did not get the guy's name but he was so helpful (he was working behind the counter at the back of the store) I was about to spend a small fortune on several products to try to repair some scratches on my car, after catching the gate post while pulling on to my driveway. The guy in Halfords gave me some great advice and even took the time to pop out to look at my car. He recommended two products which cost less than £15. I am so grateful, I used the products today and my car looks like new! Thank you kind Halfords guy!

Thank you so much for changing my daughters light bulb in her car today, she and I am both very, very grateful :) Why...because you did it properly when other people couldn't do it. It was the most awkward bulb to change and you basically had to rip your hands open to do it and eventually, take most of the headlight out. But that didn't faze you, after 4 hours of working on the awkward thing, with your hands bruised and bleeding, you still had a smile on your face and that meant the world, to my very tired daughter, after she had been awake for over 18 hours after working a night shift. Halfords you should award this guy, Employee of the Year, even when he was outside working on it, in the rain and the cold, he still smiled ;) Fantastic job Steve Williams, you should be proud of yourself.
