I just had my second engine remap from Phantom Tuning.. the first was on my Bi-Turbo Astra Elite which was a blended map giving me better fuel economy and loads more torque.. this time was for my Audi TT S-Line convertible with the 200bhp turbo petrol engine. I went for the performance map and it has turned this nippy little car into a pure sports car & I am loving it now! The guys there are so professional & friendly I would recommend them to anyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had my Ford Fiesta ST3 Mk 8 mapped at phantom tuning . Josh and Will were great talked me through the progress as to what they do when they put stage 1. The car was absolutely mint and driving home you could feel the difference wow 😮. Please go to these guys as they know what there doing. I got my Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 tuned here a couple days ago, I was a bit sceptical of getting a 118hp fiesta tuned, after the tune an extra 20 odd horsepower does make a noticeable difference to the car regarding flat spots and when you accelerate, the overall performance of the car. Great customer service would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their car tuned.

I had my Ford Fiesta MK8 in with these guys for a stage 1 ECU remap about a month ago and loving the results. You can definitely feel the better torque, especially at the higher revs compared to the manufacturer’s map. I also love the more raspy noise from the exhaust which makes it sounds more aggressive but not too much to make it unliveable. My fuel economy isn’t as good as before but I think that’s due to me enjoying using my right foot more 😂. The guy who did my map was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We had a great chat about cars whilst it was done. If interested in a remap you should definitely speak to these guys 👍🏼

Went in with my Golf MK7 TDI 1.6L for a stage 1 remap, no issues whatsoever, Will Hickmott was very informative and done a good job of letting me know beforehand what I’ll be getting, anything moving forwards with the vehicle and overall answered every one of my questions, very reliable service, waited only an hour for it to be completed and definitely felt the difference on the peddle afterwards. Would recommend for any vehicle with turbo or diesel.

Took my MK7 Golf R in for a Ghost Immobiliser here, what a service from start to finish. Dropped the car off at 9AM sharp and met Will who's passion and experience with car's really shows - felt totally at ease leaving my car there. Process didn't take long and with regular updates I didn't mind! Picked my car up later in the day where I was shown around the Ghost system including how to change the pin code and the workings off it all, I didn't feel like an idiot with asking so many questions and that's a massive plus side for me. 3 months later ... After saying I'd stick with the stage 1 tune I was back again for a stage 2 + custom remap on their dyno! Will worked hard with the team to get the best out of the recent mods with multiple dyno runs, giving me another step change in performance! I had my Lexus remapped recently by these guys and it was definitely worth it. I noticed difference in acceleration and better low range response instantly. After driving for about 2 weeks I have to say that MPG is similar if not better than previously but it depends a lot on a driving style. Excellent job by Will; who is friendly and personable and explained everything I wanted to know. The remap on my Mk7 Golf GTD took 45 mins and I benefitted from the comfy waiting room with Netflix and as much tea or coffee as I wanted. Hes a true professional and ‘Petrol Head’ like myself and knows his business inside out. I had my Astra GTC 1.6 petrol remapped here. I choose them for their competitive prices and the fact they have a premises you can return to if you have any problems. Unlike a lot firms that offer a mobile service only. Not that I needed to worry. The remap has been very good, improving throttle response, extending the power range and just making the engine sound so much sweeter. Although you don't get any/very little increase in MPG as you do with a diesel, if you intend keeping the car for a reasonable time it's definitely worth it.

Very good service and enjoyable chat. This was remapping a diesel, automatic, van. It has not turned it into a dragster, but what is very noticeable is how speed is now maintained on motorway inclines and mid range, in gear acceleration does feel far stronger. Which is everything I had hoped for.

After two years of owning my 2.0 litre Ford Mondeo diesel, finally decided to get the re-map done. I had this done on a car 10 years ago so so knew it should be good and it hasn't disappointed....my mpg has immediatley risen by around 5-10% (when driving 'normally') and I now have extra power for when it's needed. The car is also much more responsive especially in 2nd and 3rd gear. Very happy with Phantom Tuning, it was a very easy and quick process.

I met a very professional and very friendly bloke named "Will" Will invited me and made me feel instantly at home, Offered me a cup of tea, asked me what I hoped to gain from the remap, the whole process that goes into a remap, any questions I had and believe me I had a good few, once everything was established he offered me a seat on a very comfortable sofa (Not no hard backed chair) handed me a remote and promoted me to watch something on their amazon prime tv and or Netflix and many more, showed me where the toilet was and the kettle if i fancied another while he was hard at work on my car, This place is the one place you won't mind waiting 30min to 45min for work to be done. Now let me tell you about the map So I have 330d auto e92 Never had a remap before this day. Let me tell you this, 1st off My car is insanely quicker punching 290bhp from the 231bhp it was before I had this remap My torque is now 630NM, was originally 500NM, On top of that I had my cars auto gearbox tuned and Just even leaving the place I could tell me car had been done well the response from the gears, That pesky manual thing where it upshifts for you when your in manual mode.. gone.... Now I'm free to use 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th like its mean to be, top quality place now doubt !!!

Yesterday morning I arrived at phantom tuning for my booked slot. Josh greeted me and straight away I felt at ease (very personable guy) It was first thing in the morning and josh mentioned he was ordering a costa. Did I want anything. He ordered me a Diet Coke as requested and didn’t charge me. Josh spent time with me talking me through the pro’s and con’s of each map and there benefits we arrived at a conclusion of which would suit me best. The vehicle went in and josh got to work. I waited in our other vehicle with the current situation as it seemed a better idea than the office. I went in twenty mins or so later to use the customer toilet and josh was still working and mentioned he had taken some business cards out of the vehicle and popped them on display for me. Great guy. Great experience, I am no boy racer by far but felt my A3 2.0 Sportback Black edition needed and bit more punch, more for safety of driving, it had some lag which when going through a roundabout or exiting a junction could lack positive driving, had the engine remapped, increased the torque and HP significantly, it's now punchy when required, They went through the detail of what they were going to do in depth, I recommend these guys whole heartedly, professional and up front, Thank you..

A wonderful, professional, friendly and efficient service. I think the best thing for me was not being made to feel any lesser for taking a 14 year old diesel in to be tuned, given that I'd imagine there are some lovely cars go through the place. The car now pulls wonderfully and is much more fun to drive, I spent the time I was there watching 'The Witcher' on Netflix which was far too dark and confusing but there is plenty to do whilst you are waiting. It was about a forty minute drive to get there but I went all that way because of the reviews (which are all great) and I wasn't disappointed.

Had skoda remapped here done 400 miles on it now not caused any issues but was meant to take it from 103bhp to 149bhp can not feel any difference in power and was told would improve mpg but no matter how gentle I drive it I struggle to even get it to match what it was doing befor have now got it booked in darkside developments so they can have a look at the map that been out on the they will do a custom dyno map of there own which I have had from them befor and never had any issues with

I took my 2017 Audi Q7 3.0 tdi to Josh at phantom tuning Bedford and I must say wow what a difference.this is how the vehicle should run like from the factory.i recommend my friend who has a nissan Navara 63plate tdi and he hasn't stopped grinning. (Update)took Q7 back to Audi for a service/health check and they wiped joshes work(software update)😡took it back to josh and he reinstalled the map for me free of charge.thats service for you.will be going back with future vehicles.cant recommend enough.

Thought I'd give it a few days from my map on my A14NET engine to give a review. Josh is knowledgeable is this area who kept me informed on every step of my map from 1st diagnostic to completion, there was only a slight increase of BHP due to the nature of A14NET 140BHP , never the less I do feel the increase in torque which is vastly improved. I did some research before getting my map and yes you could get it cheaper elsewhere but would it as professional as Josh!..I trusted the reviews he and the other branch has and I wasn't disappointed. Would I use him again!......Yes I would. And he makes good coffee.
