A.Approachable, honest, reliable people. Nothing seems too much trouble. Took my car here twice for separate reasons and I won't be taking my car anywhere else, and recommend to everyone. I'm grateful to have had this garage recommended to me by a fellow female, as we feel we need to be careful when choosing one which we can trust to not take us for a ride (metaphorically speaking!)
P. S.Had my wife car service there and even though they recon and regas the air con instead of doing the 62 point service- they rectify this at no extra cost to myself. Michala was great- she offered me a “Magnum Chocolate” whilst I waited for the car to be ready.

N. B.Friendly staff but could explain the work that needs to be done from an MOT just so you understand what it is.. Would also recommend them though.

M. M.Polite, professional and helpful. Although they may be trying to run to a schedule, they are a busy Bosch approved garage, so be prepared to leave your vehicle. Some covid precautions are in place including a temperature monitor as you walk in to reception, the waiting area is not in use and there's screening between staff and customers. This may not bother a lot of people who read this, they may have all been tested, none of the staff were wearing masks on my visit.
H. N.Very good garage. Went here on two occasions and both times received outstanding customer service. They do not upsell or push you to buy things you don't need. They informed me about a brake pad sensor being faulty rather then lying to me saying the whole brake pad needs changing. Great company. Honest people.
However stay away if you want things done cheaply as they're service is amazing but the cost of parts used for repairs is very expensive and those parts outside are a lot cheaper.

E. O.Just picked up my Vauxhall Vivaro and am very happy with the service from PJE. One of the injectors needed replacing so I was dreading the cost but these guys diagnosed quickly, got the part the same day and carried out the work for a reasonable price. It now drives and sounds great.
C. C.PJE are very efficient and run a tight ship, the service is courteous and professional whilst still being warm, personable and genuine, this holds true for the tests and work they do too, they won't squeeze as much work as they can out of an MOT like some garages might, just about to do my 5th MOT with them and so far they have always delivered on or ahead of the promised time. They are a bit out of town but worth going to for the service.

J. M. H.I have been here a handful of times now and it’s always been drop ins like when my tyre burst whilst driving or to change a bulb and every single time I’ve been here they’ve been so amazing. Everyone who works there are great. They get things done so quickly and don’t overcharge for anything and there’s a nice waiting area as well. They’re one of the only garages I’ve been to who have never ripped me off. I preferentially would go back to this garage every time.

Overall, satisfied but I guess they are in high demand due to the bargain Groupon offer which means they may not return your car within the committed timeframe, however, gentleman at the reception was apologetic about it. Won’t complain much as you get what you pay for.

A. L.i first started using these guys because of the deals on gropon that allow a service/service MOT for a great price. I dont think you would get this anywhere else. But over the last few years when things have gone wrong I've taken it there because they are so organised and quick that I no longer go anywhere else. They've even solved my car seat problem that was meaning my mum had to climb into the back of the car (she's 85) and no other garage was bothered to do it. Now I can slide the seat forward and in she pops.
I cant say how impressive this business is.

J.Cant fault PJE . Courteous staff, professional service and advisories that are honest and not to pressurise you into doing unnecessary work. Just had our 2 cars done. Very satisfied.
I do have a puzzle though which someone might be able to answer. I bought a Service MOT with Oil and Filter change with Groupon. Tried to book this on their website (voucher bookings) but the nearest choice was Service and MOT with no mention of the oil and filter change. No idea if these were carried out on either vehicle. Doesnt matter really as I can get them done another time but maybe if the online booking options were changed it would help.
C. L.I had my MOT and service here as part of a Groupon deal. The car drove vert well afterwards. I went to Bristol and back the following week from Sussex without any problems, a very smooth ride. Service was courteous and everything was completed within the day. The only drawback is its far out of town. So you need a lift or bus

P. P.What can I say ! Fantastic ! I have been using this garage for nearly 3 years (after using harwoods for 8 years) I had an old PT Cruiser which had problems recently. I did pay an initial bill (exact to the quote) but this did not solve the problem. A hell of a lot more work was carried out at no cost to myself. A reconditioned engine was maybe the answer ? (Not that easy to get and would it be okay) so they bought me another PT Cruiser !!! Have you ever heard of anything like that ? I am very happy its the same colour and a year younger, also peter swapped numerous parts from my old car to the new car if they were better. Also whilst this work was going on (quite a while) I was given one of the garages runaround cars as a courtesy car. Thank you to Paul (owner boss, also hands on mechanic) Doug the manager and Chanice on the front desk, and of course Peter who has just retired. I am the daughter of a motor mechanic, so I know how tough it can be. (If my dad was still here he would be impressed) For anyone who has left a bad review for this garage I can only say, i am very surprised, if you ever have a problem talk to them, i would guarantee that Paul would sort it out.
S. C.I needed to have the work done first thing so that I could get to work. Arrived at 8am to a very cheerful and helpful welcome. I decided to wait around for the hour than go away. I was offered tea/coffee and reckon boss would have let me blag a porridge pot.😃
45 mins later the work was done. No dramas.
Cost was as explained the previous week.
Easy, no stress. Happy days.

V. Q. V.If i could give this place 10 stars i would. My tyre was flat as a pancake, i googled to see if anyone was close and these guys were luckily 5 mins drive away. As soon as i got there a guy spotted i was in trouble, directed me to exactly where the garage was and got me to reception. Everyone was very friendly and they gave my dog some water. They took 20 minutes to change my tyre and charged me £57 for the tyre and labour. Actual legends. 10 stars!!! Thanks again for saving our trip to Brighton guys!!

People like these guys who go out their way do not come along oftern they had no legal obligations at all. H. H.Driving to Newhaven from Portsmouth when the car went into limp mode a few times. Pulled off at the next junction and asked a garage down the road if they could sort it and they pointed me in the direction of these guys. I was met by what I assume to be the boss and within 10 minutes they had the problem diagnosed and the part ordered.
I was back on the road within just over an hour and they didn’t absolutely pull my pants down on the price. Even gave me a free fluids check before we set off.
Oh and the girl on reception makes a crackin cuppa.
Overall, couldn’t ask for more. Cheers to all there
