Very happy after a visit to these guys yesterday. Our Nissan Elgrand had a reverse camera that had been really poorly installed and a digital radio that wasn't working reliably. The issues were quickly diagnosed and the guy who carried out the work (Nick I think) was more than happy to show me the issues and explain the remedy in layman's terms. All the work was then done in a day for the price agreed in advance. When I came back to collect, I was walked through the work and received a demonstration of everything working. Great work, great customer service, honest advice and transparent pricing. I highly recommend Automotive Control and will certainly use them again if I need similar work doing.

Had a Thinkware dashcam and back up battery fitted by these guys. They really know their stuff and offered me excellent advice before choosing a dashcam. I was reluctant to let Halfords or the RAC fit my dashcam and the final result and set up was superb. All cables hidden away behind interior panels and just a great job. This is the second dashcam I've had fitted by these guys and would thoroughly recommend them. It's located right next to the park and ride so was able to pop into Bristol whilst waiting.

Would highly recommend! A few days before going away my car got scrapped so had to get a tow bar fitted to my partners car as soon as possible. I called Tuesday evening at around 4:30pm. By Thursday afternoon it was all sorted! The tow bar was ordered and fitted in less than 2 days. I was able to drop the car off and collect it again out of hours, the invoice was even emailed to me and I could pay online. I recently damaged the electrics on the fitting (my fault ...didn't put the tow bar rack on properly!). Automotive control repaired the socket quickly and at a reasonable rate...would happily recommend them...also very pleasant, happy people to deal with.

Very rare that I leave a review for something online, but the service has been exceptional, so I'll make an exception! A small task of installing some cabling in our van turned in to a very worthwhile visit, as they walked us through the next steps to take with our installations, the parts to purchase, quick tips and methodologies they use to make installing things easier, and took me around the unit to show some various security features they can install on our vehicles should we choose to go that route. ACB installed a reversing camera in my Ford Fiesta Active. They asked relevant questions about the cars installed software before taking on the work to make sure the camera's operating system was compatible with Ford Sync communication system. The price and date for installation were mutually agreed and the work was carried out accordingly within the specified time. I am very pleased with the work done. I think ACB are are professional and competent and would recommend them to any future customers.

Had a replacement immobiliser fitted after my aftermarket one from 1991 (year of vehicle) failed. Fitted well and works a treat while also keeping the old vehicle still in its original state. However after being fitted there was a fault where somehow the fog light was activated buy the seat adjustment controls but once I mentioned this the Automotive they swiftly asked to have the car back the next day to investigate and all it was, was a rusty earth/ground causing issue around the new immobiliser; they fixed this within hours and apologised for the issue. even with that set back I would 100% use them again! Now thinking about using them for a future reversing camera...maybe some heated seats while I'm at it :)

I used Automotive to install a MKi9200 that they did not supply but they were happy to do for a fee, no issue. There were a few issues with trim but quickly fixed and then issue with the kit and on asking AC asked me to bring in the car for a complete refit and it turned out an issue with my previous Parrot wiring which AC removed and replaced with one I had purchased. Overall they are great and attentive but guys put a coffee machine on or a water cooler. Again explain to the toilet is behind the staff doorway and to buzz if you need to use it. Other than that my Parrot kit is great and working fine, thank you for you time and patience.

Excellent service! We needed a tow bar to fit a four-bike hang-on carrier, and first of all they were really helpful with advising as to which towbars are compatible with which carrier. Then they were equally helpful and flexible in terms of making the fitting date, and keeping us updated, with a simple pricing structure (also very competitive) including the part, fitting and VAT so no hidden extras. Took my mondeo there today for a tow bar and electrics. Firstly they were the only ones to call me back and this was just from a missed call I left. Quickly gave me an excellent price and had the car booked in a few days later. Super polite and courteous staff member, unfortunately didn’t catch his name. Delivered the car at 8am by 11am it was ready for collection. Everything as it should be, bumper looks like it never left the car ie panel gaps all as it should be. I would highly recommend these guys. Absolutely top service!!

Really slick service and workmanship. I had some reservations about having a workshop install purely out of laziness. Initially was hoping for a home install and had this option with with a previous vehicle and tow bar fitting company. I contacted AC approximately a week earlier, initially for a quote to 'tune' my Wrangler to get more MPG. As I went through their website, with more emails from myself, I also asked for the rear windows to be tinted and if they could incorporate a reverse camera within the present system I have. Viv was ever patient with me, and to top it off, I concluded with a further email, asking if they look at the Daytime Running Light feasibility in my vehicle. Still patient (!), all was done, and I collected the vehicle, a happy man. Will post a further review down the line with a progress report, but suffice to say, AC and Crew are strenuously recommended. I did ask Viv on what else I could do to my Wrangler, but fair play to him, he was very objective and at no point, tried to do the 'hard sell'. 100%.

Well I have to say these guys saved our holiday... I asked for a tow bar to be fitted and the waiting time was 2 weeks, how ever I explained we were desperate to get it done so we could still take the kids away... He did everything he could to get this done for me and 5 days later he fitted it, we had been trying to get a range rover tow bar for a week plus with no luck.. The tow bar is perfect and fitted with a covered cert for warranty. Guys can't thankyou enough, not only did you do it... You went into work on a Saturday just to get it done... 5 star... Great company, they have looked after both of my cars, I had Reverse parking sensor put in my Audi TT. I was so impressed it looked like the car came from the factory with them already in. They are nice and small not big and bulky. It made parking the TT more enjoyable and a lot easier. I also had a detachable tow bar fitted to my vw touareg. I wasn't sure what type to have but talking to the staff they showed me the disadvantages and advantages of both types. Very pleased with the result. Rear parking sensors fitted. Efficient. No fuss. When my partner decided they weren't loud enough I was able to go back, have the appropriate adjustment made, quibble-free, no added expense. Now they sing. Location most convenient. I may have had a few miles to drive but it's literally just seconds off the A4/ Portway, no parking stress. Go and explore Avonmouth village while you wait. It's actually quite nice.
