I just picked up my van from Simon after having a large dent removed from above the windscreen. It took the guys less than a day and they have done an excellent job for a fraction of the price that I was quoted at other bodyshops. Simon also took time to give me some friendly advice on my van conversion and also helped me to clean up a few scratches. On top of all of this he sent me off with a small pot of touch up paint - free of charge. Can't recommend the service enough.

I had bought a shed of a car which thank god the company who sold it bought it back however Simon was brilliant, I took the car down where he kept it a few days and brought a specialist in to have a look at the rust. All be it the car couldn't be saved and I got refunded, I was so impressed with Simons communication and attempts to try and fix it for me as I didn't know if I could get a refund. In a time where I find trades people just out to make a quick buck it's so refreshing to speak to a bloke who is just passionate about his job and respects his customers. Top bloke, If I could give you 6 stars then I would.

Absolutely amazing job. My car was crashed into and the bumper came off. Simon fixed the car beautifully and went the extra mile to paint over the scratch and get our the dent (as well as the actual work) Good quality work for a great price.

Popped into see Simon after my wing mirror got broken on my street. He got waterproofed the indicator, fixed it back on, showed me how to pop the mirror out and advised me to sort it myself rather than wait for the part from him. Simon and his team sold me a well-kept and serviced Ford Transit Van. From the moment I inquired with them, they were lovely, professional and respectful towards me even though I had millions of questions and concerns as a first time van buyer. They are very experienced with all things car, van and engine related. Since I bought the van they have been extremely kind to me: they have changed the AC, serviced the van, taught me about the engine and electrics, and helped me sort new keys. They have also helped me to strip the inside of the van, clean and pressure wash it at their yard - they have gone above and beyond for me and I am really appreciative of this. It has been great meeting and getting to know Simon, Wayne and also Ben and Jay. They'll always have your back and they said to contact if any issues going forward. I trust them hugely. These guys are absolutely brilliant and do much more than just body work. They have done substantial welding and sealing for me to an amazing standard, replaced my exhaust, fixed my tyres, brakes & bulbs. First time I came here I was new to Bristol when my car failed it's M.O.T, this garage is so approachable and friendly and the prices are great. Last time I took my car to them in the morning and had it back in the afternoon!!!

I had just bought my MX 5 with a new MOT, only to be told by a garage I used to service it that the car should never have passed the MOT and needed £1000 of work. I took it to SGH for a second opinion as they were highly rated by members of the owners club. Simon inspected my car and when I returned later that day he put my car up on ramps and showed me around the work that did need doing. He had called the MOT station to discuss the poor welding and I think this earned SGH an anonymous poor Google review as well as an ear bashing ( the poor review describing exactly the poor work they were inspecting for me). I left the car with SGH to complete the work and they were able to repair the car properly, using second user refurbed parts where appropriate which reduced the bill to 50% previous estimates. At all times Simon kept me informed of progress and took photos and retained the defective parts to help me in my challenge of the MOT. Very much old school proper service but up to date tools and techniques. Will certainly take my MX-5 there for any other work.

Great MX5 advice and service. Having just bought a 2002 MK5 with limited history, I needed a service and general inspection. I really appreciated Simon's efforts to fully document/photography all the possible issues and then talk through what actually needed doing and what could wait. He also went to lengths to pick up the car from a midway point and then held it for ages due to the recent travel restrictions. All in all, a great job done and I'm glad to have found one of the few MX5 specialists/enthusiasts in the area.

A couple of months ago I took my MX5 10AE to SGH for some major body work issues including the replacement of the rear lower arms, replacement of all thr shock absorbers and replacement of 2 of the link arms. This work was done to a very high standard and although it took a bit longer than originally expected, I was kept in the picture as to why. Value for money was great - I know that many extra man hours were spent on the car than I was billed for, thus indicating the professionalism and pride in their work that these guys demonstrated. . I would not hesitate to recommend them to others and will happily entrust any future work to them should the need arise. I handed over my precious Mazda Bongo to have rust damage to the arches and sills repaired. I was given a quote and proceeded with the work. It transpired the extent of damage was much worse than initially thought. The arches had to be rebuilt and the sill had more holes than a golf course! Simon was keen to get me in regularly to show me how the work was progressing and highlight various issues, this went a long way to building trust, he was also creative with ideas. Although the quote and repair time increased (with my consent) due to the extent of the damage I was very impressed with how well Simon and the team interacted with me and kept me involved throughout - This included regular progress photos. The SGH team clearly care about their work and reputation and I couldn't be happier with the result. I won't consider going anywhere else.

Thank you so much for looking after my MX5 so beautifully.. The chassis needed some welding and I had been to the local main dealer, but felt the price was way to expensive...... I had scratched my car badly yesterday and needed an emergency fix. Every bodyshop i contacted either told me it would take up to a week or gave me a price that was too much. Knowing im a lady tried to either ripp me off or imtimidate me. Then i found this amazing guy Simon. He had a look at my car and within just 20 min he came up with an idea and made my car look as good as new. Hes really a car magician. I would recommend Simon highly. Got a complete front end respray on my 1991 MX5 and couldn't be happier. Great selection of pics provided of the work in progress which proves it's done properly and would be useful if I was ever going to sell. Cost is competitive enough - probably not the cheapest but you get personal service and you know the job's being done right.
