Best Garage around. Dan & the boys are unreal. Replaced the clutch and flywheel on my 08 Audi S5 4.2L V8 among other things, No small job if you know your cars. The work was impeccable and the price was more than fair & competitive. All the cars in my family go to Dan. 👌👍

I was looking for a reputable and trustworthy local garage to carry out all my future MOT's, and to service and repair my VW Transporter as required. Having read the reviews here I booked in. The service I received was first class. Nothing was missed on the MOT, the repairs were carried out to a high standard and the price was fair, in fact a little less than I was expecting. There was no hard sell and it was nice to see my van being treated with care, such as wiping down the door steps and greasing the door hinges to finish the job off at no extra cost. Just good old fashioned service and attention to detail which you definitely don't get everywhere. Overall, they're a friendly, knowledgable bunch of guys who clearly take a pride in their work. I have no hesitation in recommending John Dolbear Tyre and Auto Services Ltd and will be using them to service mine and my partners vehicles in future.

Took my honda jazz there today fitted me in, in no time.. for an electric window problem. Job done quickly. Excellent customer service. I would reccomend.

I've been using this garage for a number of years and they have looked after the cars I've had very well. Unlike bigger garages, I'm never pressed for extra work to be carried out which may be unnecessary. The staff are really friendly and they come across as being passionate about their job and the work they carry out. As usual, garage costs are not cheap but I felt that I've never been overcharged. In fact, I went there once as a sidelight bulb had gone and they replaced it straight away and only asked me to pay for the cost of the bulb. I will continue to use them in the future with the knowledge that my car will be looked after.

Had an issue with my DPF filter. Gave them a call as I'd been advised they're very experienced with Range Rover. As I was in the area, they told me to pop by to diagnose the issue and would order any parts required and I could return later in the week. Dan got the computer plugged in and diagnosed the issue. 20 minutes later I was on my way, problem solved. No charge. That's a quality business and a rare thing these days. Highly recommended and I'm back in for a check-up later this week. I know where I'll be taking the rest of my cars in the future

A thoroughly good set-up. A great bunch of guys, who go over and above to do their best for you and your vehicle. Are always willing and able to rectify a vehicle’s little “snags” that other garages would not bother to get involved with. Good anti-covid measures in place too. I highly recommend.

John Dolbear who was the previous owner had no worries when he retired and handed over the reins to the current owner who is friendly and extremely capable with years of experience in the motor trade. Great ! I wasn’t really happy with my previous independent Audi garage looking after my Audi Allroad C5. Asking around I was recommended to speak with Dan here. So glad I did. He was able to diagnose a problem, didn’t have the correct tool at hand, for the fix, so bought one. Wanted to do the job correctly. Completely it completely sorted & smooth running ! Great garage! Helpful, honest and good prices, far better than the Peugeot dealerships!! I'd use Dolbear's again without hesitation. I haven't given 5 stars this time because of a small glitch that occurred following the annual service. Given that I don't live in Cardiff I wasn't able to pop round for the boys to correct it. However, Dan pulled out all the stops to locate an affiliated garage through the AutoFirst Network closer to me. Strand Motor Co in Croydon resolved the issue without any charge to me. That level of customer service impressed me so I can forgive the inconvenience and it hasn't put me off using Dolbear's as I know lessons were learned.
