The staff at Cardiff Auto Care are incredible. They were so helpful, friendly, and quick at doing repairs. It was the first time I had used their services, but I will definitely be using them again in future! I will be recommending them to everyone I know. 5 stars does not do them justice! :D

Harry at Cardiff Auto Care is a Top Man. He is a man of his word and fitted a part for free. There are Good Garages in Cardiff and Very Good Garages. Cardiff Auto Care is the Best he may not be the cheapest, however if you want an excellent job done for a fair price then just look for the Chequered Flag in Basil Place Cathays. I really needed a mechanic and called quite late in the day, Harry told me to come down to the garage straight away! He'd fixed my windscreen wipers within minutes and also polished my lights up for me while I was there. He was very professional and a genuinely helpful, nice person. I will defiantly be returning here for any issues with my car in the future and can't recommend his services highly enough. Thank you so much Harry and team.

Harry is the best man to sort you out in a difficult situation which i was in. My van back door didn’t open and i am from Leicester came all the way for business and it got me stuck bad. Harry pulled his magic wand as a broom and tied it with cable ties and made a long pole to open the back door from the side door. He made my life easy and helped me big time. He also showed me how to do it uf i get stuck again somewhere.

I had issues with my exhaust so called into the garage. After the initial check up, Harry brought to my attention that there were issues with my suspension and brake line and called me into the garage to discuss the issue. He explained carefully the fault and how this would affect the performance of the car. The car was fixed in no time and I was offered a good price for the repair, he even replaced the windscreen wipers at no extra charge. Harry took the time to explain well and resolved any questions I had, issues were sorted very quickly. I highly recommend this garage to anyone!

Cannot recommend Harry enough! As a young female student, who quite frankly knows nothing about mechanics, I cannot praise Cardiff Auto Care highly enough for how they dealt with me and my car. I have had countless experiences of mechanics taking the p**s with pricing and just looking to rip me off, since it's obvious I don't know enough about the inner works of a vehicle- Harry was the complete opposite! After running a free diagnostic and oil top up he talked me through exactly the issues with my car before pricing parts and labour in the most transparent way possible. My car was fixed and feels the best it's felt to drive in years, in a matter of days- and the price was extremely reasonable. High quality service all round- I wouldn't go anywhere else now!

After being recommended Harry by my partner whom he helped with an easy fix on her car for free, I was very impressed. Harry explained everything really well and made all the issues make sense. Despite the car needing lots of expensive work Harry actually recommended not to spend lots of money on the car as it was not worth it. Instead he listened to what I needed from the car and helped me maintain it so it can last for the time I need it. He even made a missing part for free to fix the gear stick. You can tell he loves his job and is passionate about cars. He made what was a stressful experience a lot calmer by explaining it all in Lehman’s terms. I will definitely be using Cardiff auto centre again as I trust them and they seem very reasonable and helpful. Plus as a bonus you can pet a big cute dog while you wait

I visited Harry and Cardiff Auto Care after noticing fluid leaking from underneath my car. The source of this leak was a tiny pin-sized hole in the high pressure petrol hose, which he showed me after the repair and service was completed. Harry also identified some other issues with my car, and repaired everything, finishing with a standard service from a checklist of 50 items. Before work commenced, Harry explained everything in simple terms as we walked around my vehicle and I felt reassured that I'd made the right decision in choosing Cardiff Auto Care to service my vehicle. I'll soon be seeing Harry again when my car needs its MOT. Thanks!

My car hit a pot hole and immediately the something seemed off. The car was revving twice as loud, which obviously was concerning. I went to visit Harry at Cardiff Auto Care and not only did he fix the issue with the car i was aware of, he also repaired issues I didn’t even know about. On top of all that ( which is already amazing service), he didn’t even charge me. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’ve never been so amazed by customer service, like i have here. If you’re worried about your car, i urge you to visit Harry. You will not be disappointed.

I cant thank harry enough for all his great work. Seriously people if you are in need of a great mechanic, there really is only one place to visit- HARRY at cardiff autocare. Everything about my experience was exceptional, and i wish i'd found this place years ago. Harry is enthusiastic, and an absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge. More importantly, he cares about his customers and so he goes above and beyond to make sure that his service is fantastic, including working around my schedule. From start to finish he explains clearly everything that he is doing, as well as the reasons as to why, and so you feel very much involved in the process and fully in control. I thought the service from this garage was ok but was very surprised to discover that a large number of marital aids had been left in the car when I picked it up. Needless to say my wife was very surprised when she opened the boot and saw them and I had an awfully difficult job convincing her that the garage must have left them there.

I found Cardiff Auto Care in the worst possible circumstances; I was driving to London along the M4 near Cardiff when I heard a loud grinding coming from the engine. My wife quickly Googled local garages and this came up first. We rang and explained the problem and Harry opened his shop (on a Sunday!) to assist. Long story short, due to a a Cowboy service which the car had undergone a week previously, the vehicle had an embarrassment of issues including a loose tyre, which was extremely dangerous. Harry checked and fixed all the issues in the most impressive and professional manner allowing us to continue our journey back to our home. Had it not been for his calm diligence and clear commitment to the well being of other, who knows what might have happened. Price was fair and all costs well communicated with us. Well what can I say other exceptional. I had the passengers light cluster on my s-max not working so called in to cardiff auto care on Basil place. Within a few minutes I’ve had new bulbs installed which were done at no cost ! Safety is a paramount for this amazing garage and I would recommend anyone to use them. His professionalism and care toward the customer is unheard of in this industry. Cardiff Auto-Care massive thumbs up. 👍👍

I was having some troubles with a flat battery around the corner from the garage - my friend was trying to jump start my car but it didn't seem to be working as expected. In a stroke of good fortune the owner of this garage was one of the only people to walk by, he explained the issue (a powerful engine cannot start a less powerful engine in the way we thought), collected his power pack and started my car. I then drove to his garage for a full battery inspection. He didn't ask for any money, and presented as very friendly and knowledgeable throughout. I'm very grateful for the encounter.

I would 100% recommend! The Cardiff Auto-Care provide a polite, professional, honest and brilliant service! The negative reviews are completely false also the garage is part of “The Good Garage Scheme” which will give you more reliable reviews on their service. If he was doing anything close to what the negative reviews have said they would have been kicked of the scheme a long time ago as they check up on you to make sure you’re delivering a good service. I would definitely bring my car again. 😊

Despite the fact Cardiff Auto Care is not a motorbike specific garage - the staff working here were very knowledgeable with the workings of a motorbike and diagnosing issues. The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The workshop manager took the time to explain what was wrong with my motorcycle, explained what needed doing and how to prevent this from happening again. He did not want paying for the quote and told me beforehand how much it would cost - not seen in any other garage before. This means that there is no unexpected bill at the end. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, appearance, cleanliness, and quality standards of the workshop and staff present. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs work doing on their vehicle, whether it be cars or motorbikes. As I was being talked through what was identified during the free quote; another customer came through asking for light bulbs, under bonnet fluid levels and tyre pressures checking. The workshop manager proceeded to tell me that they are free safety checks as it just goes to show that he prioritises safety of the driver and other road users than earning a few quid. It was an brilliant experience and will definitely be returning to this garage; I also would highly recommend this garage to anyone and everyone. The things that impressed me most when visiting this garage is the professional and friendly attitude towards customers and the fact that the customer knows how much the work is going to cost, right down to the penny, before any work is completed on the vehicle.

I Have Been using Cardiff Auto Care for 10 years now, after having bad experiences in the past and as customer satisfaction is important to me I'm not afraid to go to a new a place if I'm not happy with the level of service from anywhere. I remember my first visit well, I just needed a tyre replacing on a daewoo matiz, but stated I really needed the car back that evening. Being told there were 2 options, standard or premium, as a student I went for the cheaper option as there was quite a big difference between the 2 in price, Harry gave me a quote which I was happy with and off I went. I returned to the garage with harry saying he tried to get hold of me because the standard tyre wasn't available that day but my phone was off so he couldn't get hold of me, so as he knew I needed my car that evening he ordered the premium tyre and had fitted it before I returned and then kept to his original quote, which I was extremely pleased with, finally I felt I had found a garage that I could trust! 10 years later I am still coming back year after year for MOT & Servicing and yet to have a bad experience!

When my brakes became overheated and I was left stranded in Aberthaw, Harry agreed to be available until however long my breakdown cover took to collect me and take me to his garage. It ended up taking 5 hours and Harry waited until 10pm to take my car in. Harry was very friendly and honest offering a free appraisal before successfully carrying out the repairs to my brakes. I would certainly recommend this garage to others.

Passed today, and needed a new fuse for my auxiliary power outlet (cigarette lighter) I spoke to Harry who was more than happy to help me out. Really friendly and very helpful! They looked at my car there and then and did a full check of all the systems free of charge to see if anything was wrong. They then also replaced both my engine coolant and my oil and instead of charging just suggested an optional donation to their chosen charity. Best garage I've found. Don't take my word for it, check out his score on 'the good grarage scheme' site, last time I checked it was at 98%! They quote to the penny before doing any job, and are clearly very knowledgeable about engines. The owner actually gave me a few freebies and save me a decent chunk of money, plus got my car running like new! I know he chechecked over my car as he found the same thing that was in my MOT advisory, but said it was fine to wait until it got worse. I don't think you could find a more honest mechanic.

I genuinely don't take this statement lightly but Harry and his partner lizzy when on form are the best garage in Cardiff. Awesome awesome awesome thank you both see you next year

I highly recommend this place. My son's car broke down from an oil cap mysteriously disappearing. Managed to bring it to these guys who sorted the problem within a few minutes. The care they showed us so that we could carry on to enjoy my son's graduation was fantastic. They had also previously shown good service towards my son and his car during his 4 years at uni.
