I waited 1 year to find someone who I could trust to Remap my defender. I found Gareth’s communication and willingness to talk me through the process absolutely fantastic, this really gave me the confidence to choose him. The first stage transformed my defender from sub par to a delight to drive. It’s smoother more efficient and the power is there when needed. I have called Gareth with queries and questions for the past year I have had his software installed and the aftercare is second to none! I have now gone to his hybrid turbo and have every confidence in its reliability and in Gareths product. If you are like me and think of your car like your baby, then I really cannot stress how good the service from empire tuning is. I have 100% confidence in their products and service and would highly recommend them.

Took my Freelander 2 to Gareth at Empire Tuning to resolve an Automatic Transimission issue. They carried out an Automated Fluid change and TCM reset and problem resolved, it is like driving a new car again. They are professional, have excellent specialist knowledge and friendly service. Having read good things online of Empire Tuning and their work I ordered a hybrid-turbo , sensor and remap for my tired old 2004 Disco TD5 with 300,000km on the clock. After installation the results weren't great but Gareth (from ET) was determined to get to the bottom of the issue and even flew over to Dublin to test things out. It transpired there was a diesel supply issue holding back the performance upgrades from reaching their potential and a new fuel pump was recommended. I have fitted that since and man has the car come alive! Not just much stronger torque and power but a completely modern and smooth power curve the TD5 never had before making it a complete pleasure to drive. No more low-end bog ! Funny enough after a week of blasting about my clutch is now slipping which is in a funny way is a true testament to in increased torque : ) Will need to change that next but happy to do so after 300,00 km anyway! Big thanks to Gareth for a great product and even greater commitment to customer service by going the extra mile to ensure all ran as it should ! Can heartily recommend .

Had my range rover tdv8 mapped by empire tuning owning a few jaguar and land rovers due to owning a specialist myself I've been talking to matt for a year or so time finally come to get my tdv8 3.6 mapped and I asked for alot of torque and to say the torque is out of this world and my only fear would be the gearbox stopping me towing a 747 down runway 08L at Gatwick they have transformed my range rover 😀 couldn't recommend enough and ill be recommending to all my land rover diesel customers to really unleash the potential of them v8s

Empire…….. what’s can I say! They’ve only gone and done it again 🤪 this is the 4th vehicle I’ve had remapped by empire but this time it was with one of the partners, duo team Matt and Lee in the Staffordshire area. Both know their stuff including lees coffee skill which were spot on! This was a D4 remap and as it’s a commercial with drawers and tools in it’s quite heavy even without my trailer behind. Gaz’s map has definitely sorted things out. Pulls like a dream now and it doesn’t hang about. Fully recommend anyone to get this done. No lag and much more responsive. I've purchased the remote remap package for my Land rover discovery 2 Td5, using my own Nanocom diagnostic tool. The process was seamless and hassle free. Made the purchase in the evening, emailed Gareth with the map details and by the time i woke up in the morning I had the tune file waiting for me. Carried out the tune that night and noticed a massive improvement over the old re-map done by an unknown tuner. throttle response, torque, pick up and boogey is excellent just after a short road test. looking forward to driving it more! highly recommend! After having some issues with a previous big TD5 tuner I went to Empire on a recommendation by a friend. Since then I could not be happier. My 110 is less smokey, better on fuel and considerably more powerful! Gareth is always at the other end of the phone for advice and help. With Garethes VNT my 110 is currently sitting at 230bhp and 525nm! I wouldnt recommend anyone else!

I would highly recommend Empire tuning!! Great customer service Speedy replies Talks your through everything they’ve done/doing! Great prices I’m yet to experience aftercare but from what I’ve been told it’ll be spot on if even needed. My truck is a td5 d2 has an complete egr delete, de cat, near straight through exhaust (small farty box on the back. So no major mods. Pulls very very well.. so much better than before you can feel it pick up it’s skirt and fly! Driving home it just stuck at its speed nicely. Where as before it held its speed yeah but didn’t feel as smooth as it dose now. The acceleration feels like the biggest improvement of it’s stunned me me! The popcorn is bang on, I know it’s an auto but still sounds cool as 🤙🤙🤙 And the smoke is nuts at full throttle 💨 💨💨💨 Was also given 2 window stickers witch are bang on and easy to apply! Overall it’s bloody great tbh! And I’m more than happy soo far. Soo big thank you to Matt and Gareth at empire turning! Keep up the good work

Got there about 1045 AM, rang the Extreme 4x4 door intercom, nobody answered. Looked like some useful kit inside though. Very helpful bloke messaged me back though, apparently Empire and Extreme 4x4 share premises and Empire are not in the Unit A5 there sometimes, it's best to call their number.
