My knight in shining armour arrived in a big white van. I was totally stuck with a flat tyre between Penicuik and Peebles. I had phoned lots of places to try get help but was told that nobody comes out these days. My knight retrieved my spare wheel from underneath my vehicle and replaced my flat tyre. Pity I can’t give more than five stars to these lovely helpful people. BIG thank you to you all.

I wish I could give Robert and Rab more than a 5/5 review. Our VW Transporter campervan lost power whilst travelling across from Cumbria to the East Lothian beaches for my best friend's wedding. We were close to West Linton and certainly wouldn't have reached where we needed to be. After calling several nearby garages at 3.30pm on a Friday afternoon nobody could help and I was starting to feel stressed that we wouldn't make it to the wedding the following day. Called Robert and he first of all offered to meet us at our location. I told him I had some power but had lost turbo and should be able to get to his workshop a few miles away. Robert told us that he was out on the road but that he could be with us at his unit for 5pm. He called and kept us in the loop as well as offered for us to camp overnight at his unit if he couldn't get the problem resolved and had to wait for a part. Good to his word, his colleague Rab showed up just after 5pm and immediately diagnosed the problem but also advised that he'd be able to fix it there and then if we didn't mind waiting. We sat in the beautiful Scottish countryside at his unit whilst we waited and an hour later our van was ready to go. It was now 6.15pm on a Friday night and was also out of hours. Robert and Rab wouldn't give us a bill and wouldn't take any money for the repair or for their time. They wouldn't even take £20 to buy themselves a few pints over the weekend. These guys absolutely saved us and enabled us to get over to our friends' wedding and made our weekend. Two honest and really kind men who simply wanted to help us out. If you are local or a damsel in distress stuck in the middle of nowhere please contact these guys. They are aptly named the 'Cavalry' for a reason! Thank you so much once again to Robert and Rab for everything that you did for us! Your kindness was very much appreciated and won't ever be forgotten.

This garage collected my car and did the MOT and service in very trying times, despite having never met me before, or since, due to social distancing! I will certainly use them again.
