Finally found a place that I can take my car where I am confident I am not going to be ripped off. I found Gary to be honest, friendly and helpful and I will be taking my car to him from now on. He did a great job and I would highly recommend this place to others. Was in two minds about doing a review because if word gets out then he may be too busy when my car needs work done 🤣

Great customer service from Gary! Yesterday morning I rang about a punctured tyre and Gary quickly ordered one tyre in. Within hours I was in the garage getting my tyre sorted out. After looking at my punctured tyre he said he could fix it instead of putting a new one on, depsite having ordered it in especially. He saved me £70 with his honesty. No doubt I'll be using the garage again! Edit: original review left in 2018 - live in north Glasgow but still use the garage on occasion

Gary has always been helpful, friendly & efficient over some years for many tyres I've had fitted previously & he aligned my old car's bad geometry in a flash today ~ even phoning me when there was a vacant slot in busy schedule ~ what an excellent, experienced, reliable, honest mechanic with very fair prices.

Like most of the reviews here, I have been using the Thomas & Garry for years and I find them honest and reliable. I had my car in for tyres and brakes and the bill came back lower than my original quote as the car did not need as much done. So its 5 Stars from me

I have been dealing with Clydesmill Tyres for some years now. I have always found them to be very competitive on price and excellent on service and I trust them to give impartial advise. They don't quote you a price then jack it up with charging for valves, balancing etc. £5 for a puncture repair, cant be beaten. I have recommended them to all my family (who i like), and they also have been delighted with them. It is nice to see that this friendly bunch also do MOT's, exhausts and other car repair work. I would highly recommend them to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

I have been using these guys since they first opened a small tyre only unit across the way. They now run the two large tyre, exhaust, and mot stations where the customer care and value for money are unequalled in my long experience, nothing is too much trouble and they will never try to oversell and that tells you how the two brothers have grown their business in to what it is today. I never even enquire anywhere else.
