E.Had Moorfield work on my Audi RS5 - various works From Oils service / to specialist shock - also quirky issues - Matt & Dan tend to look after me - whilst Richard and the rest of the lads always polite and quick to help out - ( I totally trust this garage for they explain and will go down problem solving the easy way) been a while to say im more than happy - last time had a really awkward PCV valve / and needed the car - 2 hrs later ! M.A big thank you to the guys at Moorfield German Motors for taking the time to strip down my door & repair the cable rather than just ordering a whole door mechanism like my local garage was planning. This means only £60 for the repair rather than £250+. It's worth travelling that little bit further to have a correct diagnosis & repair. They've always taken care of me. Top lads with excellent customer service.
J. F.When a spring breaks on your car what you need is a garage that keeps calm, deals with the repair promptly, keeps you informed and does not cost a fortune. Thankfully Moorfield is just such a garage! Ian was great, very helpful and fixed the car a day earlier than expected. And very reasonably priced. Will definitely take the car back there for anything else it needs.
D. N.Fantastic garage. I've used them on and off for bits for years now and never once had an issue with any work done. Their prices are really competitive, usually beating other garages I've had quotes from. Very transparent about the work they do, which is welcoming when other places try to sneak things in for extra cash. They also do work and bookings from places like Blackcircles (which I've used them through before too) and never had an issue.
L. I.Kevin came to jump start me at my house (saving me a £50 call out charge from my breakdown cover). He didn't charge me for the privilege either which was very kind.
I followed him back to the garage and he got my battery swapped and my car back to me in less than 15mins. Would 100% recommend. Excellent customer service.

K.very good service from the team at Moorfields from initial telephone conversation to bringing car in (covid pre lockdown 2) checked car and gave call promptly and advised issues. reasonably prices. gave a quote on fixing sunroof lining and expert opinion due to labour hours involved it be very expensive. defo will come again especially for a Ford
Y. L.Car broke down after only having it for 28 days. They assessed it and determined it was unroadworthy, so am currently attempting to reject back to the dealer. Did a report to help with that and have refused to accept payment. I'm very impressed and will be using in future, once we have another car.
D.My car broke down with an unknown fault. The garage diagnosed the issue which ended up being a non atandard fault in the cicuit board. They fixed the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. The kept me up to date and were friendly and explained what was happening at each stage of the investigation. I would strongly recommend this garage. I have used quite a few and this was my best experience.
S. B.My BMW 335d was smoking heavily from the exhaust and so my brother recommended Moorfield garage for the repair. The potential costs of identifying the issue were explained to me in advance by Richard and which also turned out to be accurate. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and the car was dropped off at my offices as requested. The service I received each time I called the garage was no different to the BMW main dealer I have recently stopped using.

S. S.Had heard a rattle under my car for a few weeks and finally had some time to get it checked. The lads were really helpful and were able to fit me in on the day. Turns out my exhaust heat shields had come loose so took 10mins to screw back in to place. All done and dusted while I sat and waited in their cosy waiting area. I was even allowed to go see under my car at the problem which I appreciated.

J. B.I have been using Moorfield for 4 years for various cars including a Jeep, Golf GT and Vauxhall Monaro for servicing and MOT's.
I recently had my Mk5 Golf GT 170 serviced and found the experience as always to be friendly and professional. They informed me of the revised service schedule which was not apparent from looking at the original book but was up to date when searched online. They were competitive with a cam belt and water pump change and new shock absorbers which vastly improved the ride and handling. The work was completed in a day and at the price quoted.
I also had the engine remapped using the stage 1 Pendle remap they offer. This gave a massive improvement to the car due to the increased performance from an extra 20bhp but also made the engine more responsive and improved fuel economy by around 5mpg on my usual commute.
I would (and do) recommend the garage to others and feel that a stage 1 remap for the Golf GT MK5 is essential!
