Took my vans DPF here to be cleaned, they said that they could do it straight away but suggested that I leave it with them for the cleaning fluid to work overnight. Glad I took their advice, went back the next morning and watched the cleaning, took about 1 1/2 hours on their special machine. They done the job professionally and perfectly. What impressed me the most is their honest and communicative approach to their customer's, also did the job for a fair price. Cannot recommend enough. Danny

I am glad I've found a garage I can trust, outstanding customers service. I booked an MOT and car service. Had a call to take my car in earlier so I did. Kept me well informed during MOT, got a call back to tell me to make my way as car will be ready in 30min. MOT pass and service completed Great value for money and service. Also have received great advise regarding any future potential repairs or what to look out for. Definitely recommend for anyone who wish to have their car seen to. My first visit to A & K MOT Centre and from start to finish it was a great experience. The reviews on big chains and their robotic responses when something goes wrong saying to ring a customer service number put me off. The exemplary 5* ratings I read on here for A & K were hard to ignore so I had to give them a call/visit. Heres what I found: Very polite phone manner. Fantastic customer service. Fast MOT turnaround. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners/team. During my visit I got the impression that the customer really mattered. That is something I seldom experience nowadays, especially in larger establishments and it is very sorely missed. I really appreciate the treatment and will be back every time an MOT is needed. I had my MOT done today and it was nice and quick. Whilst I waited I was offered a warm beverage. They also fixed an issue with my wipers and added coolant & screenwash free of charge. Would definitely use again and recommend!

Excellent service! They booked me in at short notice as I needed my brake pads and discs changing, they ordered the parts for me then and there, and worked on my car while I waited. The staff are really friendly and polite, I'll definitely be going back there again for all my car needs, and also for all my future MOT's! Highly recommend!

What I appreciated most about Anand's service is the time he takes to explain things patiently to you, and actually show you the problem with your car so you can understand it for yourself. I had a dying alternator on my car, which Anand helpfully fixed having figured out quickly what the problem was. The MOT I originally came in for was also done fairly and professionally, and Anand even took me round the car afterwards to show me the advisories so I could see for myself. Very personalised service so I will be returning.

Initially I had ordered the incorrect tyres into A&K MOT centre, however Anand (worker) kindly suggested that he will order another set of 3 for the same day and within my budget. He even suggested a face to face meeting to discuss the options. Later in the day I came to realise I did not have my wheel locking nut and informed Anand. However Anand kindly suggested that I could provide him with my vehicle details in order for him to ask my car dealership for a duplicate (this was not his problem). Nonetheless he gave me other options and I went down to the garage. As I arrived his experienced co worker looked in my car and in a matter of minutes he found my locking nut in the most unsuspected place. All in all I cannot thank Anand and his team enough for the honest hard work they have done for me. They really have a traditional approach to their service and knowledge, this is something which is rear within their field.

Anand helped me out when my car broke down in Kingsbury. He calmly explained to me how to get to the garage (first talking me through basic checks to ensure car was safe to drive short distance). The fault was a minor one which he sorted quickly. He then did a thorough check - almost two hours - to ensure no damage had been caused to engine etc. He charged me £40 in total although he could easily have taken advantage of the emergency situation. Thank you so much Anand for your calm help and honesty!
