I have been coming to Carpenters for a couple of years now for MOT and servicing, they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Professional, friendly, great communication and explain everything really well. This morning I called up to see if they could check my tyres as I had a warning light. They invited me to come down straight away and checked it out for me, so I could go on a long journey without worrying which I really appreciated. I will be coming to them for anything I need for my car as long as I live in the area and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Carpenters!

I found Carpenters through an online forum of suggested Car Garages. After reading through the many positive reviews, I thought I would give them a try as my car was in need of a service and MOT. I can't tell you the inner fear and trepidation I was feeling as my booking approached - this was purely due to having (in the past) visited garages who completely took advantage of my lack of knowledge and simply overcharged in the hundreds. All I can say now is that I am so glad to have found Carpenters! Really HONEST people who certainly DID NOT take advantage, and didn't give me a mile long list of apparent failures which other garages have done. For the first time in all my years of driving I feel like I have found the very place that many want in a garage. The only place I'll be bringing my car to in the future is Carpenters.

I took my little baby for scheduled appointment for oil change. I mentioned that I don't like how breaks are working but gentleman said it might be difficult to do checks as I was suppose to do different service. Tough. It would cost me 110 pounds with minor checks on my car. Some time later I recieved a phonecall that breaks were checked and this, this,this and that needs to be replaced and this would be an additional cost. I was devastated as my final bill was 478 pounds but..... When I picked my car up I recieved an extraordinary service and I knew I will not regret spending my money into this family business. Everything is transparent and clear and I felt like nobody is trying to get any extra money out of my pocket. My silver arrow is in amazing shape now and I will come back there if needed. Actually I scheduled my MOT with them in few months. Trusty, professional and straight forward. Highly recommended. Thank you for your amazing help!

Don't often give reviews for anything but this garage most definitely deserves credit for their consistent welcoming personal service provided - so refreshing in this day and age. I've been using them for 5+ years now with our two vehicles and simply wouldn't go anywhere else. They are knowledgeable, good value and I never feel I'm being oversold on services / work perhaps not essentially required. Thoroughly recommended if you live in the Tooting area or further beyond!

I first visited this garage today for an MOT. Highly recommended for their extremely efficient and friendly service. A garage is far from my natural habitat and I generally feel completely out of my depth but I was made to feel very comfortable here. They actually bothered to go through my MOT report properly (a first in my experience!) and weren't pushing to "upsell" in the slightest. There were a number of safety measures in place to counter Covid which was reassuring. I will be back this time next year.

Been using Carpenters for three years now for MOT and services. Three things you want in someone who offers you something- honesty, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Add to that a lovely friendly service- why go elsewhere? The only time I have needed to go elsewhere was where they referred me to a CSV gearbox specialist (who were proper salt of the earth!) and like that other moaner review pointed out, if you need something like tyres that you can search the internet for for the lowest price possible. Top marks to the team- keep up the great work.

Very efficient, they helped me get the MOT for motorbike so quick, also helped me saving on costs (I could have saved more if I had time to change the brake pads myself, rather than high street). The only suggestion is if they offer services for parts and labour as well so that things could be done at one place. Also special thanks to Steve, although he had a very busy day and staff shortage, he managed everything with patient and professionally.

I am so pleased I found such a welcoming, friendly and polite garage. Having tampered with my headlights after driving on the continent I couldn't get them back to UK Mot standards. The friendly mechanic sorted this out within minutes for me and sent me on my merry way.

I've used Carpenters since I moved into the area last year and they are simply the best garage I've ever used. They absolutely go above and beyond for their customers as they proved today when one of the mechanics stayed after 5.30pm closing time (til nearly 6) sorting out my headlamp so my car would pass its MOT and I could get to my new job tomorrow. So grateful and can't recommend this family run business highly enough.
