Booked our Volvo in to have some paint and bodywork completed. I couldn’t be happier with both the service and the quality of the end result when we picked the car up. DMW did a great job, they were on time, communicated brilliantly and were really great on price too. Can’t recommend enough.

Fast, correct, polite service. They fix what others can't. I have a 2007 V50 Volvo with very low milage that o took to these guys after being overcharged by 2 other garages (without fixing the car). Very happy with DMW. I took my car to 2 other garages with minor problems (stuck door/lock, oversensitive alarm, dashboard problems) but all they did was charged me 2-3 times, came up with complicated explanations and expensive solutions. Finally I had enough and find DMW based on reviews. They did what everyone should: they did proper analytics, told me what the problems and the solutions were, they gave me different options and once I chose, they fixed all the problems. I got my car back next day. Very happy with them so far.

I booked in my XC60 to fix a faulty fuel pump and do a service & MOT. The car was originally sent to qwik fit, which I later discovered was a massive mistake. Qwik fit neither had diagnostic computers at the ready to evaluate the problem nor qualified mechanics on hand to assess or fix the problem. They are only really capable of changing batteries and tyres, and the lack of diagnostic equipment was pretty shocking. After a long time sitting in qwik fit (covid delayed the master technician from attending and assessing earlier) I had enough and got the car sent to DMW Volvo. It was probably the best decision I made - and what a refreshing change from the incompetence of qwik fit. I dealt with Richard over the phone and he was excellent. He kept me informed regularly of progress and potential charges if I opted to press ahead with non-essential repairs. The final bill was not cheap, but that's the norm with Volvos when you use genuine Volvo parts. I really don't think a dealership could do any better on price. DMW were professional, reliable and they fixed the main fault with the car, and uncovered an additional fault. They communicated with me regularly so I felt none of the charges came as a surprise. I'm pretty sure a Volvo dealership would have cost 20% more at least. I would definitely use DMW again and would recommend it to others. They just felt genuine and honest and they tried the best with my car. I really appreciate the work they did and the care they took with my XC60.

DMW were great. Fitted me in at very short notice (called them at 5pm and they took the car in the following morning, first thing). Immediately knew what the issue was with my XC60 (an error code to do with the engine that my regular car mechanic couldn’t sort) and sorted it out straight away. They communicated well all the way through. Whilst they weren’t super cheap, they were very reasonable. And a good deal cheaper than Volvo would have been. Will definitely go back should any other issues arise. A great place to go for your Volvo. Highly recommend.

DMW (Richard and Dean) have looked after me and my XC60 really well over the last few months - I have now switched to them from my previous (main Volvo dealer) garage. They repaired the sun roof motor in September (when the main dealer refused to take the car in - sun roof was locked open so car insecure) and have just repaired the clutch for 25% of main dealer price (only master cylinder needed to be replaced, not whole clutch according to main dealer), plus other repairs and service - all for lower cost. Really helpful, knowledgeable and will only suggest and do work that is necessary, and that at lower cost. Many thanks!

I have been taking both my previous and current XC90 cars to Dean and his team for over 5 years now. I have always found them to be professional, knowledgeable and incredibly courteous. They have explained any work required and presented options with pro's and con's so that I can make informed decisions. This was especially appreciated as my previous older car became less viable. Their pricing is much more reasonable than a Volvo dealership whilst having the reassurance of expert Volvo knowledge and training.

Good reliable Volvo Servicing. I have been bring current XC90 and my previous XC90 to DMW for almost eight years. I have liked their friendly honest and transparent approach. The quality of their work as always been to a high standard. They are good at managing my expectations around the costs and even the surprises. My first XC90 was fourteen years old when I sold it; it didn't break down once. In part I thank DMW for their advice in ensuring it always ran. Thank you to Dean and Richard.

‘’Recently I had a problem with the automatic gear after the fluid was changed by another garage. I thought of replacement gear box was the answer which would have cost over £6000. To my surprise DMW was able to fix the problem with software download and readaption of gear box parameters. My Volvo XC90 is performing well at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend any potential Volvo owners to DMW. The staff are friendly, attentive and empathetic and value for money.’’
