The staff at Garage Express are very helpful and great to deal with. I’ve had a full car service here, and also an MOT. Both experiences have been extremely positive - not the kind of dodgy car dealer feeling I’ve had in the past with other garages. They were helpful with the MOT advisory points and honest about what was urgent now and what could wait. I will definitely be going back!

The premises are bright and very clean and the staff are welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable. I have been using Garage Express for the past few years for all the families mechanical needs. MOT at £29.95 is also a great selling point for us! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and go that extra mile to ensure everything is 100% before the car leaves the work shop. Top service. Had MOT reduced rate, Allowed me to have MOT on the day without booking. Helped with few minor things for free, i.e. break bulb etc. You will not get conned like other garages with cheap MOT and bump you on a shady alleged problem that needs servicing.

The best service I have ever recieved from a garage! others always take advantage when they see a female who doesnt know much about cars! plus the price was half the price my other mechanic quoted me for cam-belt and it wasnt even an audi specialist like these guys are! My friend recommended these guys and im so glad she did. They picked up the car from my work and dropped it back to me the next day so lovely and smooth! They also did my heating system along with the cam-belt and now I have a warm car for winter. a complimentary wash and hoover was added too which was a lovely surprise! thanks so much. i will recommend friends and family!

Been using these guys for about 4 years on the wife's SEAT Leon. They give clear advice about what needs to be fixed and what might need work in future, but can reasonably wait a little longer without compromising safety. Cheaper than a dealer and although cars are expensive these days, I have never walked out of there feeling overcharged or 'duped'. Very professional front of house too - its just like going into a business reception area in other professions with similar courteous service. They finish 1745 sharp but flexible about leaving car overnight etc. Never had any issues with quality of work over the 4 years either. Clear, good quality receipts and work summaries too for the records - not trying to get another year out of that 80's dot matrix printer... Would highly recommend RAC auto, unlike some of the guys I have come across over the years! All good. PS this is a real review - just using the spare email account with a ridiculous name!

Steve Russell is technically brilliant and infinitely resourceful. I can with all confidence recommend his independent Audi/VW service centre. I had a complex electronic problem (an intermittent parasitic drain on my car battery which could not be diagnosed using the normal Audi diagnostics). Steve managed to identify and resolve this issue AND at a very fair price. To me, he is my Audi/VW virtuoso ... and a good guy, too!!
