Had an MOT for my Prius - which failed, and then a retest. Excellent customer service throughout. The gentleman who did the MOT was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating, and had fitted the test around my schedule on both occasions. The whole process was very smooth and professional. A really decent garage.

What a great place .. we don’t go anywhere else for the car. I called and got an appointment pretty much straight away for our brakes and it was fixed in a day at reasonable prices too, compared to a dealership quoted. We wanted to support local and made a point of coming here .. not to be disappointed. Phil is such a nice guy and the team there friendly professional and all just honest. Thank you Phil and team!

Brilliant service! I recently brought my car to the garage with several different problems, expecting a costly trip. I generally don't like the environment in a garage, however the service was splendid and the prices where very cheap comparing to other places I asked around at. They made the experience pleasant taking the time and effort to make sure everything was done at the highest quality. The manager Sam in particular was a genuinely nice guy and the garage is really clean and professional! Would definitely recommend this garage and certainly will be coming back again.

After a horrible experience with a car dealership these guys made fixing the car an easy task! They were clear and concise with me, giving me updates and not minding when having to deal with the car dealership, the warranty guys and us. They were excellent and I will be going back for any further work (fingers crossed no time soon). Highly recommend for any work that needs done on your vehicle.

Recommended. I'm quite picky about where I send my car and have previously used only specialists or recommendations from owners clubs. I had a look around a few garages in Walthamstow last year and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the workshop here and the friendliness and knowledge of the staff, particularly Sam. When they serviced and MOT'd my car, they were honest and fair, and replaced a breather pipe for free that had perished - going above and beyond where some garages would. Taken it back for a second year this year and again, very impressed. Reasonable prices and great service, thanks fellas.

These guys were fantastic. Not like other mechanics who take a guess at what could be wrong with your car. They actually diagnosed problem fully then contacted me on the phone to let me know what exactly is the problem and gave me a quotation. Once repaired, they even showed me the faulty part which other garages fail to do. It is still a little bit pricey but top quality service.

This review is long overdue. I first visited Walthamstow Village Garage when I urgently needed some repair work to my car following an accident. Sam was excellent and very professional. I was emailed a quote for the repairs promptly. Earlton was also very polite and professional and kept me informed throughout the week that my car was being repaired. A few months later in October I took my car for an MOT and Sam and his colleagues worked hard to change the shock absorbers late on a Saturday afternoon after closing time due to difficulty removing the existing shock absorbers. I wasn't charged a penny extra than what I was initially quoted. An all round honest, professional and reliable garage. Highly recommend!

I booked an appointment on their website only last night - it was quick, easy and effective. I had an immediate appointment at 9am this morning. I was greeted by a very friendly guy called Sam. My MOT was completed in an hour. Very professional service and the first time that a garage has not tried to make me spend extra money. They are a short walk up Addison Road to the Village too so I had a nice cup of tea whilst I waited. Brilliant place. I will now be using them regularly. Thanks Sam for a great service!

I've been a customer here for a good few years. Sam and his team (and Phil the owner) have always offered amazing service, friendliness, and value for money. Nothing is too much trouble, and they will squeeze you in at short notice. in short, a professional, fast and friendly service you just don't get at the main dealerships. I had my MOT done here for the first time and can highly recommend them. They were quick and thorough explaining any problems with the car clearly - they were also helpful on suggesting things I could fix myself. Firstly, I should say... up until recently my experiences with Walthamstow Village Garage had always been positive. However, unfortunately my last visit really let them down. I called in advance of booking my appt. I spoke to someone and asked what processes they had in place to be Covid-safe. I was told they wore gloves and masks which I was happy with, so I went ahead and booked my service. Disappointedly, I went there for my appt to find that everything was as it was pre-pandemic. Not a pair of gloves or mask in sight. I wasn’t happy that they were obviously not bothered about keeping staff or customers safe (someone being inside/touching my car with no protection??) but even more so I was fuming that the person on the phone had lied to me. Why tell me through were operating Covid-safely if they weren’t? I got out of my bed and made my way there on a Saturday morning for no reason. Turned around and left. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point, as their prices are very reasonable, but I wasn’t happy at being lied to. Not about something so serious as keeping safe during a pandemic.

My son bought a car from a local dealership only to find after getting a puncture there was no lock nut. The dealership messed around and quoted silly money to fix it, even though they sold it with a missing part ! These guys however changed the lock nuts, supplied and fitted a new tyre with no fuss. They explained the potential cost and came in at the low end of the quote, which in my view was a reasonable price. Friendly and reliable service, these guys you can trust to do the job and not try and rip you off.

Very fast service at affordable prices. They have regularly worked on our vehicles and have provided good service every time. The only snag to having work carried out here is the parking in the surrounding streets - the road are narrow and parking is sparse, so be prepared to search for a space. There have been issues with parking tickets here too, so beware.

They managed to give me a quick appointment when my disco sport said it would shut down in 540 miles due to a broken wire. Plus they have the Autologic diagnostics for JLR. All done in a couple of hours, reasonably priced and very helpful!

What i will say is how honest they are, which is so refreshing nowadays that i did not get ripped off with my MOT. There was several advisories on there which most garages would have added to the MOT 100% and they did not.
