Ciao! Go Italia was recommended to me by a friend and have been using ever since then. Jamie knows his stuff as one would expect from an Alfa Romeo specialist. He does an honest job and always cheaper than main dealer's in my experience and overall a far better service for sure. Now my whole family use him. Doesn't always answer the phone? that's because he's busy fixing our Alfa's, but he always call's back if I leave a message. Besides being a great mechanic he's also a great genuine guy. Jamie seems friendly and generous with his time. Performed a minor service after being let down by main dealer. A couple of nice touches like putting my car jack away and using a piece of paper to blot the dealer stamp to stop it smudging shows he cares. I could dock him a star for not laughing at my great taliban joke. Likely to be back although it is slightly out of my area.

First time I have used Jamie but I was told good things about him, his knowledge, his professionalism and his person satisfaction in working on your car and to advise you on going forward in the next few months. Jamie is excellent and has been looking after our italian cars that have been in our household for years now! Personally I wouldn't take them anywhere else & much better value than taking them to our local dealer Lipscomb. It feels more like taking the car to a friend now rather than just someone who says they have done the work & just takes your money as he always has time for a chat! Would 100% recommend Go Italia everytime.

Everything you will never be able to get at the dealership with reasonable prices to boot. Accurate estimates, honesty and above all meticulous care to every single detail. It all gets done properly by Jamie and I wouldn’t trust my Alfa to anyone else.

Booked in with Go Italia for a timing belt and water pump replacement. I received nothing but excellent customer service and advice from Jamie. Carried out the work efficiently at the quoted price which was half the main dealer cost. Well worth seeking out this specialist mechanic for reliable work on my Abarth. Ignore all the bad reviews, it's difficult for single person to answer the phone and have his head under your bonnet at the same time!

Always really pleased with the work that Jamie does on my Alfa GT. He knows these Alfa's like the back of his hand which gives me great confidence that the jobs will be completed correctly. This was my 4th year of servicing and MOT sorting, really pleased it passed again, but then I knew Jamie would have completed the work necessary to achieve that outcome. Took my sons fiat 500 to STS they charged about £1200 for brakes, discs, service, shocks and when I paid and asked if its all ok now they said no there is a oil leak somewhere we don't deal with that then engine lights started coming on my dash. I found Go Italia which specialise in fiat and alfa Romeo's and Jamie (good all-round honest guy) booked me in found the problem's and fixed them for a really good price. I will never use those tyre places again from here on Go Italia all the way. Thank you Jamie you have given me and my son peace of mind. Highly recommend !!

Bridget owns the car, I drive it. We’ve used Jamie’s services for many years. Our GTV is now 20 years old. You couldn’t wish for a more competent and capable resource than Go Italia. As former Lead Engineer for a main dealer, Jamie has been sent to Italy (at the expense of the Italians) to visit their factories. As an engineer myself, I can only applaud his diligence and competence for his deep understanding of the vagaries of Italian engineering. I have used Jamie on my on all my Alfa Romeo's for years now. He fitted a wheel bearing on my Alfa 159 today, it was done fast and to the same standard as if a main dealer did it, but obviously a damn sight cheaper! I'll be back in a few weeks time with my Alfa Montreal for some other jobs to be done too.

If you are after an Alfa or Fiat specialist look no further. Been with Jamie for a couple of years now and by far he is one of the most helpful and reliable people you can meet in the Alfa world. Might take a couple of calls to get in touch sometimes but the only way you will go wrong is if you go somewhere else.

I had a strange noise Jamie at go italia managed to diagnose the problem as soon as he lifted the bonnet. The frustrating part is I took this to a garage and they couldn't diagnose the problem after having the car for an hour at a hefty cost. Jamie at go italia diagnosed a faulty water pump bearing and resolved and fitted it within a couple of hours. Stayed late to complete the job hence the reason for this high rating and one happy customer. Thanks jamie I will be back keep doing a great job
