I called GVS with an enquiry and they offered for me to stop in on my way home that day for them to take a look. They were very professional, open and honest at all times. When I booked in my car for the work they loaned me a car for the day and dealt with the warranty company for me too. I will definitely be using this garage again!

Have just taken car in to fix a clicking noise on my driver door, check a tyre which keeps deflating and ask about a timing belt change. Rang on Monday and was able to book car in a few days later. Door fixed and new tyre fitted at the same time. A garage I had visited for years and who I thought were reliable and trustworthy told me I should get my timing belt changed because of the car and this could be catastrophic for the engine. The cost would be a few hundred pounds so had dithered over this but thought it was time to get it done. When I took into GVS it turns out I don't even have a timing belt and it's a timing chain which should last the life of the vehicle. So not only did they fix the current issues very quickly they saved me hundreds of pounds. Thank you! Will definitely use again.

Had major issues with car tyre this AM, nice friendly member of the public helped me as wrench in recently purchased car did not fit wheel nuts so went to GVS got what I needed to take tyre off so I could go where I needed to and buy one. Spoke to team at GVS, having never set foot in there before, really helpful and I decided to have them supply and fit. All done in a few hours and price was fantastic! Booking in to go and get the other three done now. Great local garage that I will definitely use again (now I know it’s there 😎)

GVS agreed to take my car in at really short notice for a diagnostic. The check-in was really friendly and smooth. Due to the issue with the car it was not repairable by the garage (it required a brand specific CVT repair), the guys were really honest, and let me know within an hour. Cannot fault the customer service. I would highly recommend GVS.

Called for an urgent MOT and service, the lady was friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze me in. When I arrived, the gentleman was polite and organized. I've probably used all the garages around Urmston, this is by far the best one. The pricing was good, the car was given a clean and they even switched around my tyres so the 2 new ones were together at the front of the car. I couldnt be happier with this garage and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Dropped my car off at 8.30 AM today for a MOT I received a phone call at 9.05 AM to say my car is ready and all done. I was a bit nervous using a new garage as a female as I have had bad experiences in the past with several garages. But all I can say is fantastic service and very professional staff. Will highly recommend to others and I will definitely use in the future.

It is rare that you find a garage that you can trust. Having received an astronomical quote from a main dealer to fix my rear brakes, they cleaned, adjusted and sorted my brakes for a fraction of the cost. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had car serviced here and was incredibly impressed with the standard of the work. They even managed to get rid of the squeaky brakes I'd been putting up with since a well known chain replaced the pads and discs. Can't recommend them enough.

Good old fashioned customer service at its best! We were buying a used car in the area and i rang up this garage as it was close to where the car was to see if they would go and have a look at it for me to check it out.They didn't know me from Adam. Linda was helpful from the start, course they could go and have a look with me for a very sensible price as well--we were going to use the RAC inspection service but they could not do it until next week.GVS offered to do it the following day!. Mike took it on a road test brought it back to his garage for a good once over and gave it the thumbs up and i persuaded the people i was buying it off to knock the MOT price off the car so Mike could MOT it! as well. Without him we wouldn't have bought the car. Its only a shame we don't live closer as i wouldn't hesitate to give them all out business.Thanks Mike and Linda we have one very happy son!

Life savers !!! Broke down in our car after driving back from Manchester airport on the way home from our holiday 4pm in a day they dropped everything to help us and didn't rip us off at all. Got us back on the road and got us home safely !! Cannot thank these people enough. If it wasn't for them I don't know what would of happened!! Thank you so much
