Booked my car in for a service - on the Internet - after checking all available dates... MIND BLOWN! I mean, imagine not having to call a garage to speak to somebody, then have the life drained from you over the phone as you find that every day you're actually able to be without your car isn't available to them.

Booked my car in for an MOT using the online portal which was easy to navigate. On the day, dropped my car off & checked in at the pre-allocated time & observed social distancing guidelines. Was greeted warmly & advised they'd call when ready, which the did within a few hours. Car had passed, huge relief with one advisory. I've used Halfords before and would recommend them.

Really impressed with the service I received from Halfords today. They were friendly, knowledgeable, honest and quick. Reasonably priced too. They exceeded my expectations today and I’m really grateful. Dan on the desk and Daz who did some welding I needed on my LR Discovery Sport were really helpful. I called Halfords as my air con wasn't working, they fit me in the same day, fixed it and I had it back a few hours later as good as new. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond as they even found time to fix a minor issue with my mum's tyres when dropping my car off. Have used them multiple times for MOT, Servicing and Tyres, expensive then some local garages but cheaper then going to the dealerships and their work comes with 12 Month warranty. Downside has been their punctuality. I booked a morning session 08:30 for MOT and service hoping it'll get it done by Midday but I had to ring at 16:30 and then collected my car, 8 hour's for MOT and service on a small car is a bit excessive.

My car was booked in for 14:20pm and at 9am I had a phone call asking if I could come in about 11am which was a lot better for me and they was good and explained everything about my mot. Overall I am satisfied with there service, apart from my car failing it's not, I will be using Halfords for my re-test and in the future for my MOT's. 👍🏼

Booked a service and MOT but not overly impressed as I felt I was being upsold on a number of things. Also they wanted to change my tyres but I have examined them and really do not see the urgency. They state that they were wearing on the inside and that may be true but it really was only marginal. Think I will go to an independant garage next even if it costs more intially in the long run it will be cheaper I am sure.

First time i have used halfords for an mot and service. My brakes needed to be done as they were failing. I rang halfords, got an appointment the next morning. Left my car, Danny rang me and updated me on the progress and discussed work that was required and giving me a price. They completed all the work and my car feels like new. As a frontline worker with the ambulance service, was given a discount, which was very much appreciated and told my brakes are covered for life! I was really pleased with my whole experience and will be using them again. Thank you again halfords! I required new tyres today, 13th of February 2021. I contacted halfords Openshaw autocentre, as i had a great experience on my last visit. I spoke to Anthony, who was professional, approachable and friendly. He was really helpful, booked an appointment convenient for myself. The work was completed to a high standard. Anthony gave me discount as i work for North west ambulance service. He made me feel that i was a valued customer! I have recommended Openshaw autocentre to family and friends, due to the freat customer service and quality of workmanship i received. Had a shock fail on Manchester’s bumpy roads when away from home. Dropped car off first thing having booked a free suspension check online. Was kept up to date of the work and fix work was done quickly and professionally. Staff polite, wouldn’t normally go to or recommend a big chain but was very impressed.

I was able to pay for my tyres in advance of the work which saved me from spending the money on other important stuff such as; sex, drugs and rock n'roll. Dropped car off at reception at the prescribed time. Car was booked in quickly and efficiently and returned to me in under an hour. I only just had enough time to order and eat an all day cooked breakfast at the greasy spoon across the road. A great job all round and the staff here are excellent.

Came to replace tyres guys did it professionally and also mechanic noticed a metal pin stuck in a rubber which is a potential puncture. Repaired puncture in addition to replacing tyres. Great. Also, worth to mention, their attention to details, such as removing corrosion and rust when needed.

I've even followed him from nation tyres and autocare where he was always honest and tried his best.
