Highly recommend! No power was going to the acceleration pedal in my boyfriend's car so we called Halfords Autocentre, Carl said he'd take a look at it although very busy and him and Antony fixed it really quickly. They were extremely friendly and the service was amazing I'd highly recommend going to them when in need of a repair

I attended this garage for my MOT. Carl and the other member of staff who I did not get the name of were absolutely brilliant. Carl kept me informed throughout the process and made me feel at ease, he was chatty and very friendly. Will definitely be returning

Carl has been helpful as always on the phones and in person too! Due to discount related issues could not book online so he happily booked in over the phone; the confirmation e-mail was received promptly. Dropped car off to garage as promised on time but due to New Year Eve the delivery time was stretched a bit (90 min delayed). The car was serviced exactly as I would have expected and feel like having a good value for money too. Not given 5 start simply because of one off delay experienced and they don't wash and clean the car as the car dealerships do! Will recommend using this garage for sure despite it's city centre location with tight space!

I came in today after a headlight had gone out the night before, I also booked a 10 point check as it was free with my booking. I was welcomed by Carl at the reception and he took care of me from start to finish, he personally sorted all of the work needed in time for me to pick it up straight from work. He did all of this with a super tight schedule and still maintained that feeling of being treated with real care. Would deffo recommend but Carl especially is a class guy

Over last 2 years my wife, my daughter and I have used Halfords for MOT and minor fixes (mostly to have MOT cleared). Mostly hassle-free. My daughter was given a "failed" incorrectly on something which she could not explain properly but with a little discussion got sorted out prompty. Very understanding folks. Went to the Nottingham Huntingdon street branch , superb manager Carl, very polite and friendly with all customers , extremely organised and chatty , was a joy to visit a garage that wasn’t acting like a stereo typical “ lads “ environment. My issue is with the company not the branch , booked for a diagnostic on my automatic gearbox after receiving advice to do that online , however was told afterward that they don’t touch auto gearboxes and I need to go to a specialist. If I had known that, I would have paid the specialist to do the diagnostic AND the repair !!! Happy to take my money knowing they cant repair after ….. PLEASE BE CLEAR THE HUNTINGDON STREET STAFF ARE AMAZING AND I WOULD USE THEM FOR OTHER SERVICES , my issue is with the company policy. THANKS CARL ( manager ) at branch for his overall attitude etc

I went in May to get my car looked at as it was not driving as smoothly as before, despite only having it for about 8 months. I was assisted by Carl who was very friendly and professional. He did a full check of the car for free and found a number things that needed to be fixed but he did not force anything and explained the pros and cons of all the fixes. We came to an agreement very easily on what would be done and the price, which was reasonable for the work. I was very happy with the service and the car is running much better now!

I needed all 4 tyres replacing on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I use the car a lot for towing and wanted to be sure of getting the right good quality tyres. I spoke to Carl, Centre Manager, and he ordered a full set of Bridgstones the next day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. He was also understanding and flexible when I had to delay my drop-off time a couple of times. During fitting, Carl explained everything clearly, and when I collected my car, walked me round it to make sure everything was okay. The Fitter I spoke to (Daniel) was really helpful too. He took the time to explain the fault on my car and show the repairs that had been done. I booked into this Halfords to do a free health check on my car as I had just bought it second-hand. Carl & Rich were really helpful, they explained everything that needed doing on it. Halfords saved my neck today. I very carelessly left my mot repairs to the last day. I wasn’t sure Halfords could fix a diagnosed electrical issue that the another mot garage Said it was. Not only did Halfords honestly tell me it wasn’t an electrical issue but minor bulb work, they fixed it at a reasonable cost. Carl and Gary were the guys that dealt with me. Both very professional and respectful to a female in a make environment.

Quick and easy, had an appointment booked the next day for the issue I had with my car. I was impressed with how quickly I was be slotted in. The booking was straightforward and hassle free. The only down side was when booking to have a wheel alignment- the website should reflect that all wheels need to be tested, as the guy in the garage informed me they can’t check one specific wheel, they check them all, so the cost of the job went up of course. But they offered a free tyre check at the time as well for all the wheels so I was happy overall. The issue was resolved and I like that fact it’s electronic documents being sent to the booking email. The location was a bit meh as it was right in the middle of a busy city centre so learning curve for me not to book at that specific garage. The people were friendly and pleasant. Job was done fairly quickly.

Carl the manager and is team was absolutely 5 star Carl told me it would take about an hour so I walked into the Victorian centre and had a look around in the shops then I got a text to say the car was ready so I returned to pick my car up . The team there very polite and from what I could see all of them was all busy doing things . Definitely recommend Halfords never used them before as I know them as cycle shops that’s showing my age . 5 star to the team

I have been dealing with this branch of Halfords for more than 20 years and have never received anything less than excellent service. Proper measures were in place to comply with COVID10 regulations, and I was received with courtesy and respect as usual. Leaving my vehicle with the reception staff member, I was able togo about my shopping. After just a little more than one hour I was contacted by the staff member and advised that the work had been completed satisfactorily, and that I could collect the vehicle as soon as I was able. This I did 15 minutes later with all the documentation completed and in a folder. Excellent work again Halfords and my grateful thanks to you all in the branch.

Quick and effective for an mot. If your car passes this is a cheap option if not then can become expensive quickly. It has a variety of price options for the various services all at competitive prices and the quality of work done is upto expected or a good standard. Downside is the entry and exit of huntingdon Street at peak times is a bit of a nightmare but outside of this is fairly simple. Would go back again
