J. K.I recently broke down one evening with a flat tyre after hitting a kerb. I was out of my area of residence so was not familiar with the area. I am a female and i was on my own.
I was in a very long queue for my breakdown Service and starting to get quiet upset and stressed.
Then this very polite gentleman who was on his push bike travelling home from work approached me and asked if he could help me ? He explained that his name is Simon and works at Kwik Fit he then showed me the emblem on his T.Shirt.
As I am a community nurse my car boot was full of nursing products/equipment, Simon helped me to empty my boot to gain access to my spare wheel. Simon then proceeded to successfully change my wheel on what was a very busy road.
Simon was an absolute 🌟 ⭐
Simon was polite and friendly throughout and REFUSED to take any money or anything for doing this.
I could not thank Simon enough and KwikFit at Daybrook in Nottingham should be exceptionally proud to have such a caring, polite and professional Gentleman working for them ... Thankyou again Simon.
P. S.Dropped off 4 wheels and tyres to have new tyres fitted and my old ones returned to me, as they were brand new. The service was second to none and they even sorted the refund for not having to dispose of my tyres which I would have had to do at a later date. Highly recommended and will definitely use again 👍🏻

D. S.Been to kwik fit at Daybrook a few times recently for different issues.
First time my mum had issues with her battery on her Hybrid Toyota, Simon there fitted us straight in and sorted the battery quickly, giving it a test first to find if it was the issue - which it was.
Second time, again my mum had a flat tyre so went here where she got 3 new tyres fitted same day.
And lastly, I had bought a new car and felt that the alignment wasn't quite right, they got my car in very quickly and got it checked out, turned out that it did need realignment, so got it sorted with barely any wait!
Would definitely recommend!
J. R.No real problems but it took all day to do a basic service and a MOT . I was booked in at 8.30, car passed it’s MOT by 11 when I received a phone call asking if I wanted to pay £649 for advisory things on MOT. ( I didn’t!) Rang back 3 hours later to see if car was ready to pick up to be told they were only just starting the service. I finally got my car back at half 4. Should it really take 8 hours to do an MOT and basic service?? Really disappointed as whenever I’ve had tyres fitted the service had been fast and efficient. I think too many cars were booked in at once which leaves long waits for your car to be ready. At the very least you should be told when booking that you will be without your car for a day.

All staff are polite and respectful. The manager Michael was so helpful when my car needed a new tyre. He fitted my tyre quickly knowing I'm a community nurse ensuring I was back at work without any hassle.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

A. R.Not my first choice but you can't always put a price on desperation. Got my exhaust back box sorted for £139. A tad pricey but needed doing.
In addition informed me that 2 front tyres were bald. They weren't. They were heading towards legal limit but not illegal.
Kwikfit, spotting an opportunity quoted £160 for 2 budget tyres, fitted etc. Got sorted elsewhere locally £102 for 2 MIDRANGE tyres fitted etc... Be savvy people!

The reception is in waiting room so you can hear all conversation so no chance of missing out on a disgruntled customer. However all happy and treated professionally. Nothing to hide. Was impressed so witness staff member talk directly to disabled customer in W/chair. All to often conversation is directed to able persons as if the W/chair person is not there. So well done. drinking chocolate is excellent to!

They were a little busy but kept me up to date on progress and made me feel looked after (even with all the covid restrictions), which I really appreciate. s. o.This is a recent review..I came for 2 tyres last week.....I was in a rush so didn't bother to query the price, as they had always been competitive....after checking , the following day, I found I could have bought the same tyres ,locally, and saved £50.....
The car was booked in but they didn't start until an hour later, so tge whole process took over 2 hours..just for two tyres !!!
The staff were pleasant but I won't return now I know their prices aren't competitive, any longer...
There is a lot of upwelling re insurance, checking tracking etc....almost £700 for 2 tyres seems a lot....
T.Fantastic service.
My exhaust fell off; Kwik fit had one in stock. Within 25 minutes of entering reception, knowing that I had to get back to work, the mechanic had my new exhaust fitted and I was on my way.

S. P.I need to correct this post as I've realised I've not been accurate. Following the returning to the Kwik Fit garage they did give a full refund so no cost was incurred. This seemed like a fair compromise and they did seem to genuinely want to get it sorted.
The original review stated: Had our air con recharged and it worked for 24hrs. Returned and they said they had checked for leaks once but would check again and recharge. Again it stopped working after 24hrs. Took it back again and they said they couldn't find the leak. So 50 quid spent and no air con (see correction above). The staff seemed helpful and bemused by the situation but I'm just a little dubious about how effective the test is.

E.A number of lights came on to my dashboard this morning on the way to work - took my car to Kwik Fit on the way home and Gordon and colleagues did a thorough check of my vehicle and got me back on the road so quickly and free of charge! Relying on my car at the moment as an NHS worker - keep up the good work Kwik Fit supporting our NHS!

l. j.Arrived on a Saturday afternoon with a puncture on my lease car. They kindly tried to contact the lease company and local dealer to confirm if replacement tyre was covered under the lease agreement but unable to speak to the right people because it was a Saturday. So I opted to have the tyre replaced and pay myself. The chap helped me to take pics of the damaged tyre and offered to keep it for 28 days in case the lease company wanted to view. He also very kindly made me a coffee! A stressful situation made much easier by the service received. Many thanks

Luckily, car started. I rang Arnold kwik fit who were equally as busy but actually wanted to help me. Drove over and new battery was put on and i was away in 30 minutes. Excellent service.

Fixed an urgent tyre problem last thing on a Sunday (including working past their closing time), after the main Nottingham branch on Huntingdon street turned me away twice in 2 days and were pretty rude and unprofessional. The Daybrook branch also fixed a problem the main Nottingham branch had caused (when they took over 4 hours to replaced 2 tyres a few weeks ago). Daybrook GREAT. Nottingham RUBBISH !!!

G.Absolutely Fantastic service and i cant thank Simon enough friendly couldnt help me enough i work for city who have a contract with Lex auto Lease my tyre burst coming off the m1 i managed to drive it slowly to kwick fit as i only new this one i was welcomed with a hello and smile and they was busy and i said i have come to the end of my shift and i was tired and he didnt think he could fit me in well he did and it took an hour and 20 mins i only thought 1 tyre needed doing but he said 3 needed doing and he changed them thanks for your service and knowledge and keeping me moving and safe and within the law great service
