I have used plenty of garages around Nottingham and Leicester as i work between these two cities. I have to say, by far, MB Nottingham is the best garage i have been to. The level of professionalism, quality of work and reasonability of price was wonderful. It is a family run business that seems to have been around for years - you can tell with the level of knowledge they have. Truly was a genuine, fantastic service. I will be back again for sure.

Truly fantastic service! I was stranded in Nottingham (drove up from London) due to a breakdown. I called MB-Nottingham who managed to fit me in the next day to look at the car. I requested that they run the diagnostics on the car as I would like to conduct the repair myself. I was running late to pick the car up and the person who I originally spoke with on the phone was extremely understanding and stayed later to allow me to pick up the keys. Furthermore, he took the time to talk me through the issue at hand and gave me the details of the part number and cost of a refurbished part. I have not even mentioned that they gave the car a full clean inside and out which made my day! I could not recommend another garage more highly. By far the best experience I have had at one!

I bought a Mercedes after researching thoroughly about reliability, value and economy, plus I wanted to find somebody I could trust even if they werent always the cheapest as I retired recently and wanted to be able to rely 100% on the garage I select. I got sound advice from the Manager at MB and went ahead and bought the car, and when I was living in Nottingham I brought the car in regularly. Furthermore, I got to rely on the manager always knowing when my car was coming in, always servicing in time and never kept me waiting. I moved to the South of France a couple of years ago and tried local garages, but the service was nowhere near as good, so I gave the manager in the UK a call and brought my car back weeks later (when I was on a visit to the UK) and the service was just as good. I need a new Turbo shortly after many thousands of trouble free miles and it was something they spotted whilst doing the regular work. This is the level of service that once experienced has made me come back for the same again and again. I do praise good service as I complain if I dont get it, but at MB Independent Nottingham I always get it and I am coming back shortly for the replacement Turbo..well done you guys

Very good service! I had my a-class serviced in Jan 22’ and a new offer came out in Feb 22’ offering a free MOT when you got your car serviced. Thank you (to Martin in particular) for coming to the rescue when my fuel injector needed replacing. You were able to source an OEM one within 2-3 working days (when the Mercedes-Benz dealership had none in stock in UK or Germany with no ETA). On top of this, you offered to forego the diagnostic check to identify the issue given that a callout with RAC that I had arranged had already done so (complete with fault codes) - saving me a significant amount of money on top of an already expensive part compared with going to the dealership.

I had occasion to use MB Nottingham for some unexpected service and repair work on my C-class recently. The service I received from initial email enquiry and response to completion of both sets of works was impeccable. I was kept informed of costs and also given valuable information about service items that had been missed by the previous owner of my car (information a main dealer neglected to give me). Because of that reason alone I have no hesitation in recommending MB Nottingham and will certainly be using them again when I need work on my car.

The first time I have used MB Nottingham, I have just purchased a C63AMG and wanted it checking over, they collected the car from my home address, informed me that the car was due for a gearbox and differential oil change and software update, following the update it was found that a sensor required replacing. I was contacted and given a full run down of the costs and work involved. I am very impressed with every aspect of the service received. I would not hesitate in recommending there services. I will definitely be back.

Would definitely recommend this company. Martin in the service department is a genuine, very helpful person and I can't fault the customer service. I live south of Leicester, but MB Nottingham still came and picked up and returned the car for the very reasonable price of £20. As there turned out to be more to do on the car than was anticipated, it was returned the same day without doing the MOT test (at my request), but picked up again around a week later free of charge, the MOT test done and the car returned the same day. As stated by MB Nottingham, the prices are indeed 50% or so of the cost of going to a main dealer, so I would advise anyone to do the same as me and book in next time your service is due, or indeed anytime you have any problems.

MB Nottingham and Martin Shaw have been extremely helpful to me. I bought an SLK 200 a year ago for my wife from another Garage which I had them check out for me and this resulted in me being able to obtain a full refund as it had a number of defects, too many to justify keeping it. They similarly checked out our latest car an E Class Estate 220 SE and helped me get it back into great shape very quickly and without any drama. Delighted with the result. I was also able to claim a decent contribution from the garage that sold it too me since safety was at issue. Nobody particularly looks forward to spending money on maintaining their car but at least I know I'll be properly looked after with friendly service and fair prices. Wow! What else can I say except that MB Nottingham especially Martin Shaw did me proud. I had an issue with my Mercedes Benz C350 not cranking and even during lock-down, Steve was available on the telephone trying to help. In the end it needed to go into the workshop for further troubleshooting and a fix. The car was shipped and work was started on it as soon as circumstances allowed. I was kept up to speed at all times about the issue and associated costs. I only have praise for them and as a mark of goodwill, they will in future have my car for all services and any work needed. After recently buying a Mercedes for the first time it needed a service, so after searching the internet for an independent Garage I came across independent MB Nottingham. At first I enquired about a service via the live chat option on the website which offered to call me with the relevant information, I asked for this to be emailed which was done the next day by Martin. I decided to call about a week later with a few questions and spoke to Martin... what an incredibly nice guy, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I was sold. So yesterday my car had its service, I’m not going to lie I was slightly nervous about leaving my car anywhere but when I met Martin I knew I’d made the right choice. After a couple of hours he called to talk over the service details and after 5 hours I was picking my car up serviced & cleaned 👍🏻. Today I had a follow up call to ensure all was ok. What a gem of a garage in the perfect location. The technicians are all Mercedes trained with extensive knowledge. Why do i say this? They were able to identify a problem with my central locking which i have had for over 2 years now, the dealership were charging me so much just to investigate. My Mercedes warranty had only just run out and unfortunately the engine warning light appeared on my dashboard. Rang the dealers up who were quoting me a ridiculous £168 to carry out a diagnostics so a friend of mine recommended that i try these guys out. The diagnostics was only £104 (or something like that) in comparison and that was for the EXACT same procedure that would have been carried out at the dealers. Loving my car the way i do I needed to make sure it went to a garage who had genuine Mercedes equipment/parts and were Mercedes specialists. I can honestly say that MB Nottingham, are BETTER than the dealers in all aspects from quality of their work to their customer service. They exceeded my expectations and i am very happy i decided to bring my car here. They sorted my warning light out and they carried out the repair in one day. They had the car washed and ready for me to collect the next day. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to save money but have quality, genuine Mercedes work carried out. May 2020: During the Lockdown my MB front spring broke and the heating fan failed, MB Notts kept me updated to when they would open and booked the car in ASAP. Again repaired to excellent standard, my recommendation is if you want a garage that is transparent on the works needed then definitely use MB Nottingham, they offer great service and advice, however if you want cheap no frills then find somewhere else. Definitely not the cheapest of garages but you defiantly get what you paid for. Feb 2020: Taken my MB here many times for different reasons. Pleasant and welcoming staff with a good efficient service which I have used for many years. One phone call and normally you reach the person you need (no annoying multiple transfers through auto attendants) and I like the option to talk to an engineer on site to explain a problem in more detail when this is needed. So this was the first time I've used MBN and i have to say their service was seamless from booking with Aman to speaking with Martin discussing findings on the day. Car collection from home works for me the driver was a very nice chap, the car was returned looking like it had been for full valet. With MBN pricing and first rate service what's not to like. The little extra paperwork received when the car was returned was a nice touch I now have documented service history for the car from new (2010 SL350).

My 'A' Class had developed an EPS fault, which was traced to water damage to the fuse box. MB were able to book my car in for the next morning and I was dealt with very courteously and professionally throughout. They identified a number of other problems once it went into the workshop, but I was kept fully informed at every stage of and given exact costings for each repair. At £795, the final bill was pretty expensive, however some of the problems were significant and I've no doubt the main Mercedes dealer would have charged far more. All-in-all, a good service from a quality garage, I will use them again.

I have been bringing my car now for over 8 years to MB Nottingham. The team are great - Martin always goes the extra mile to help and will move things around if i need to bring my car in at short notice. Last week I had to bring my car in because i had my engine light on and loss of power - they were able to find out what was wrong with it , carry out the work and have it fixed for me on the same day! They just never seem to fail me so thank you. If you want a trustworthy garage with proper mercedes benz standard of work then i recommend this garage based on my personal experience.

Why do people feel the need to lie and post false reviews? I have used this garage for over 20 years. Steve and his staff are the most honest and professional people i have dealt with. Sometimes there are faults found with our cars due to wear and tear etc but f i took it to a garage and they didn't report their findings to me and put my life at risk i would not be happy. Every time i have taken my cars into MB Nottingham not only do they communicate with me during the day with updates on my car, but if there is anything that needs to be reported they do so with a comprehensive vehicle health check report. They give me the OPTION of whether i want any repair work to be done, small or big. I have always had my repair work carried out here and they've always do a darn good job too - better than any where else. Its a fantastic garage and if you are looking for reliability and honesty with quality workmanship, then this is the place to take your Merc.

We explained that we had a baby due in less than two weeks and MB fitted us in the very next day and had the car fully repaired within two days. What a great company. I purchased a used vehicle which unfort ended up having lots of issues. after being recommended to use mb nottingham i contacted them and bought my mercedes in to them. they were so professional and were able to go through each of the faults they found on my car when they did the health report. im not very tech savvy so it was nice to have that level of care for the service manager to actually sit down and go through it all with me. after going away to think about it and getting other quotes, i soon realised that these guys were not only better priced, by being able to save over £525.00 but the fact they were the most professional , the workshop was clean + technicians were all mercedes approved - it just gave me that peace of mind bought my car into the right garage. really happy with the quality of work carried out and really pleased i came to mb nottingham as i know theres some shoddy places that claim to be mercedes specialists. highly recommend.

Wow completely satisfied and impressed with this wonderful service centre. My vehicle was brought in for repair work, a comprehensive vehicle health check was carried out and then an advisor called me to discuss what the techy had found. I asked for an email of it and they sent it over straight away. I already knew i had these existing problems on the car so I knew they were being honest. I was really surprised at how affordable the repair work was as I know I have taken it to other garages, not to mention any names and they were charging me an arm. The first time I used MB Nottingham, I had a problem with my CLS, engine management light was on and no power. Took my car to MB Nottingham for a diagnostic test and found the car had turbo issues. They got the car in and sorted the problem out for me, the staff are amazing, very knowledgable and professional, they explain everything to you right from the start and keep you informed with the progress of the job. Martin the service manager is unbelievable, his knowledge on Merceds is second to none and such a helpful guy. Can't praise MB Nottingham enough, you take your car to them and you know it comes back faultless and superb. Not only mechanical but the body work side you just can't fault! After hearing of them via the radio having always used main dealers in the past when my wife required annual service on her SLK we called to enquire on price and the level of their customer service offering. We had a very positive response from Andy at all times. He came back with all issues that needed doing as well as the service and to pass the MOT. The service was first class at all times, they collected the car and delivered back within the time frame. The cost was higher than we thought but confirmed before any work was undertaken. We will use them again as impressed on first visit the only thing was that she requested it to be cleaned both out and inside which was not carried but the car came back with all jobs completed 100%.

Was advised of this place from a friend who owns his own garage, but doesn't have the equipment to complete diagnostics on a MB. I called this garage up and they got me in a few days later. The technician communicated with me each step of the process on the day from calling me to personally discuss the fault, to contacting me back with the fault codes, costs and timescales. All work was completed with my prior knowledge and consent on the same day and I'm relieved to have my COMAND unit working all fine again. The guys wre great here. I've been consistently taking my two cars to MB-Nottingham for years now and find their professionalism first class. I wanted to use friendly folks who knew everything there was to know about Mercedes, but I didn't want to pay the main dealer's prices. I am talked through things every step of the way - on this last service I could only afford to have the service itself plus a few additionally recommended bits to be done. Non-essential work will be done in a months time when I've a bit more cash. I like that they didn't say "all or nothing" and that they explain what's what. Overall brilliant value and can't highly recommended them enough.

My experience with MB Nottingham was second to none! Their business was recommended to me by a friend and their name was familiar due to their catchy advertisment on Capital FM. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and overall professional. Unlike other experiences I have had with dealers, I was kept informed with work technicalities and progress of work. Really impressed with the quality of service given. Having read the mixed reviews I was unsure, I could tell that a lot of the 1* reviews seemed unreal but just to put my mind at ease l rang the company up to find out more about them, what they offer and how much they would charge me. I asked them about the ''bad'' reviews and it turns out there was one indidual trying to sabotage the business and reputation of the company which is such ashame because they are so false in every way- having now used the company I can say they are a wonderful family run business who are no different to the Mercedes dealer apart from their costs.
