Great experience at this branch. Easy online booking, I went in for a full service and MOT for my car and it couldn’t have gone smoother. The mechanic was very honest with what urgently needed doing and what could wait (though I just got it all done anyway because it was easier for me that way) and I didn’t feel messed around in any way. With all the work that was done on my car it was all sorted within 5 hours and ready for collection. Not sure of the name of the mechanic to give feedback, but everyone working on the 03/02/22 was brilliant!

I was able to book an MOT for the following day so very pleased with the availability offered. The mechanic who inspected my car dealt with me very professionally and respectfully and made the experience an enjoyable one. Great price with my discount and I appreciated the informative and straightforward process and approach. The only downside was the quote for an advisory piece of work but then again I’m not obliged to accept this quote. Overall I was very pleased and my MOT passing was the ‘cherry on top’ for me.

Needed a service and MOT doing, me being me, I left myself only 10 days to get the MOT done! Halford's could fit me in at this garage when i was available, so i went ahead and pre-paid just under £145. I dropped the car off at 0830hrs to be told it would be ready in the afternoon - frustrating, but understandable. I got a call later during the day that it had passed it MOT and it was on the ramp getting the service done now. The lovely lady told me that it could do with a new pollen filter. I can't help but think that i wouldn't of had this update call if it didn't need a new pollen filter. I politely declinded the offer, knowing that it would delay me getting my much needed car back - it was getting a big boy service next time anyway. I asked for an ETA on the work to be compleated, and she told me she wasn't sure. I gave her an ballpark figure of an hour and a half, and she told me that sounded about right, but she'd call me when its ready. Overall, a excellent, easy Esperance from Halford's. My Dad has been using them for years, and i see why - i'll be returning to this garage as and when required. Only downside is loosing my car for the day and not been given a time for the completion of the work. I made the 20-minute walk into town to keep myself busy in a coffee shop and pick up some little bits, so my day wasn't wasted, but it would have been nice to be told to drop it off at 0830hrs and pick it up at 1200hrs for example. NB: There is a McDonalds next door if you don't want to walk into town.

Went in this afternoon to see about having an inner tube fitted on my electric scooter, wasn't sure if they could even do it but the gentleman said he would give it a go, disappeared off for 5 minutes and came back with it sorted, asked how much and was told no charge. I have used an App to book my Major Service at their Garage, but when everything was confirmed and when I arrive. The lady didn't even know that she have to expect Customer, well after the worm talking she checked and everything was confirmed I left my car for Major Service. Next day after taking my Car from Major Service and after checking list has been taken and then key's given. I drive away and 3miles added to the new drive clock, I end up with EMR engine light ON, that's All. On the other side with the rest of the work which has been handled properly. First time using service like this and ending up Not happy, but fixed. When one job is not done at first time doesn't have to be perfect right? don't know I may use their services again later.

Halfords were able to acquire and fit my four new tyres the same day. The service was efficient. They kept in contact with me so I knew what was happening and when. The conditions of the centre were clean and very Covid secure. All staff were appropriately attired and there were supplies of masks, gloves and hand sanitiser available for customers. A particular mention to the very nice lady on reception. Very efficient with excellent customer relation skills

So much gratitude for the team at Halfords Autocentre, Peterborough! My car was recovered there this afternoon after being told by a passing motorist that I had no brake lights, and then stuck in a layby on the A47 for 2 hours. I was told by an AA appointed garage that the brake light switch had gone. I had a long drive ahead of me, taking my son back to university, so to be told that my car was going to be in for repair for a couple of days stressed me out. But, Halfords to the rescue! They told me they could get the part and repair it there and then! 😁 After a quick look they saw that the switch hadn't gone at all, it was a simple fuse - 2 minutes later it was done and I was on my way! The service from these guys was exemplary, I cannot thank them enough for their help and their friendly manner. Many, many kudos to you, you saved the day and I can't thank you enough!

Went there to get my MOT done. Arrived on time. Handed over my keys. Told me it would take 60 minutes. Hour and a half later they told me it was done. Issue with the car but couldn't tell me what as they didn't have a look and wouldn't be able to book me in to check it for a further four days. Wouldn't go back

I've used this garage for multiple times. The staff is very helpful and they have a quick service. They are really flexible as 2 times my car needed to be fixed on the day. I've called the service at the morning dropped off the car and picked up later the day. My only concern is the price where on the invoice there is no breakdown structure. I would definitely recommend it.

Needed a urgent tyre change and Halfords Autocentre was one of the few open on a Bank holiday Monday. Lady at reception was amazing and very nice, even though there was only 2 mechanics in as it was a bank holiday i was out swiftly. I visited on 23/3/17 for a brake fluid change (£37) and all the free safety checks. I booked in and paid for the work online which was very quick and useful. The receptionist Dee was very friendly. Having a McD opposite for breakfast was good and I could see from the window when the car was ready. There is a toilet available although I didn't use, but it looked very clean as the door was wide open!

They were great, despite having my car booked in for one thing, they didn't mind adding a service and listening to my other concerns. They were polite and had time to explain and assure. Good customer service, good tyre prices, which I bought it online and came the them for fitting and do wheel alignment as well , but I'm very disappointed to be honest with the service done to my car after, the wheel alignment wasn't done properly, I had to come back for it cos the car with my steering wheel straight when driving goes far left, which is not good, they send me somewhere else to do it properly which I appreciate that, they sort it out fast, and another thing I didn't like it was the counter balance weights to fix it on top on the old ones when changed tyres which is not the good way to be done, supposed to remove the old one, clean it and put the new one after, hope they gonna fix this in the future, cos I have to do it again and cost me different money! Sorry for that but I wasn't totally happy and I've been reasonable with this review!

Have to say what a great bunch of very helpful and professional crew Ben and the team are. Whilst out driving i was suddenly faced with an alarming metal on metal sounding noise coming from drivers front side wheel... so on the off chance I swung into Halfords Autocentre without appointment and the gents accomodated me with a reassuring gesture of a free brake check! " we will call you once checked over " I was told,.... and that they did it turned out to be a stone trapped inside the wheel behind brake pad what a relief as these honest, professional, guys upon my return to collect the vehicle informed me there would be no charge..... Now that is a Autocentre trading with honesty, transparency, excellent customer service coupled with professionalism. A complete rarity these days....would recommend this crew all day long.

Ok service. They did everything I asked for which was an Aircon clean and inspection. Hidden cost for the Aircon gas and I actually needed a pollun filter change too which was more but all sorted. A bit slow on the fitting time as I was waiting over 2 hours and was the first job of the day. I would say they were good but not in a rush

Lifesavers! Called in at 8.30am yesterday as my dipped beam headlight bulb failed on my commute. After only a short wait they supplied and fitted the new bulb and allowed me to be on my way to work thereby eliminating my worry of having to drive 50miles home in the pitch dark after finish work late. Used halfords auto centre to service my 3 series BMW after been totally ripped off by BMW sycamore. Halfords were less than half the price of main dealer and gave excellent service with no additional work required which BMW sycamore said it might need (before they had even looked at it) hence the extortionate price
