Avoid the hermes option, my experience with hermes was horrible. They are good when amazon uses them. My ECU came very late thereafter.
As for ECU doc, everything was spot on.

D. F.So where do i start. I had a mechanic look at my car i had a code P0118 which the mechanic said is a known fault for the ECU. So after i paid 3 hours Labor mechanic did all the electrical testing he could, and confirmed that the ECU was the issue. So i sent my ECU off for testing with ECU testing on the 17th of August 2020, It came back after running a day over the allotted time saying there was no fault found and so i paid the testing fee, This time i took it to a Peugeot specialist garage who also confirmed that the ECU was the issue. So the garage spoke to ECU testing and well it got sent off again. This time they told me the fault has been found it has been fixed under warranty. However the garage received the unit and the same issue was there. So i called ECU testing back this time i have another person under the phone saying that it should not have been under warranty and if i send it back then i will be charged again! but what for they didn't even fix the issue. So at this point i sent my ECU off to the ECU doctor. He received it Friday the 11th of September Yes that is now no car for over a month!, I got a call Tuesday the 15th of September by the ECU doctor and he had found the issue replaced the board. Garage received the ECU on the 16th of September and plugged the ECU in and the problem was fixed. ECU doctor saved the day so thank you.
J. B.ECU Doctor are a brilliant company. Successfully replaced a faulty engine ECU for a Ford KA (2011). The car had starting issues and would randomly cut out. They confirmed over the phone that they had replaced this model of ECU before, which put my mind at ease. We sent them the faulty unit and 3 days later the replacement was delivered and we have had no faults since! The replacement unit came with 12 months warranty, so the work is reliable. This saved us having to buy a ECU from Ford which would have cost over £1200. I cannot recommend this company enough. Please try giving them a call before shelling out thousands on a brand new ECU. Their prices are also very reasonable, so for us it was a no brainer!

p. c.My 3.2 Vectra was running well when I parked up one night but the next day it did not want to start. After trying to start it for about half an hour ( we checked everything and found nothing ) she started but as soon as I put my foot on the accelerator she stalled. I contacted ECU Doctor in Plymouth and was told to send the ECU to them with a description of the fault.
I sent the ECU on a Wednesday and Rob contacted me on Friday morning to say that they had found the fault and the ECU was on its way back to me. It arrived first thing Saturday morning well packaged to sign for.
On its return I fitted it to the car and the car started first time, due to the virus my wife and I have been shielding and the car was sorned so I could not fully test it, but this morning I took the car for a good run and it performed perfectly.
I am absolutely grateful to the team at ECU Doctor for the work that they have done and would recommend them to anyone.
j. c.Great service as usual...always a problem if an ECU is presumed faulty...ECU Doc tests and reports. If a rare one ..will transfer your ECU data to a sound unit and let you try it. If no difference, they will refund less costs..
