Brilliant garage, a lot cheaper than most in Preston. Quick and accurate to find a fault, no hidden costs. Go in for one problem and they check most other things while they have the vehicle too. If it's a cheap and quick fix, they will just do it while doing the job it's booked in for. I've probably never left a garage feelings so safe in a vehicle knowing they have checked more than what I asked for, at no extra cost. Highly recommend

Went to Arthur's garage through a recommendation, to get a bad spot of rust fixing where a rear seatbelt mounts in the wheel arch. The job took roughly 3 hours and was roughly 20% more expensive compared to a couple of other local garages but cheaper than a body shop. The welded panel is functional and is water tight now, however the rust was left as is and not cut out, plus water can still sit behind the old rust where it's flared. Time will tell whether the repair holds up. They did put all the trim and electronics back, which was nice & did save me time, but upon further inspection the boot carpet had a few burn marks in, presumably from welding without protecting it. Regarding customer service: straight to the point, no frills. I wouldn't go back for body work, however I have heard they're great for servicing and mechanical work. Do note that it's cash only & the closest cash point is left out of the garage on Ribbleton road.

Very good and helpful staffing The charges are so reasonable compared to couple of other workshops in Preston. Though very limited space available for the work area, they are managing it properly

Excellent prices! Another mechanic offered me to change the whole flywheel for £700. Arthur did the job for £50 in 2 hours, and changed the light bulb for free. Much appreciated. Garage is well hidden, but well worth the hassle.

First experience of Arthurs place was mixed, looked like entering a scrap yard, but forget all that,this eas a little gem, we had a good friendly welcome, Arthur spent a lot of time on our car and came to the conclusion that it was a lost cause which we half expected, Arthur gave lots of good advice and refused to take any payment for his work, to say we were impressed is an understatement and we will certainly look no further than Arthur's for any future car work, give him a go, you won't be disappointed.

Highly recomended garage guys overthere are profesionals the only thing that iam concern is the landlord!! be careful where are you parking as he is giving penalty notices to the arthus garage clients as he kept argue that all parking belong to him where this is not true

(Translated) Mr. Artur was repairing a clutch failure in our old Zafira which we came from Poland by removing the detected defects he noticed. I am satisfied with the service because of the quality and price. Our Zośka drove 23,000 km. without failure after repair. I recommend this car workshop to everyone and I want to mention that I am a professional driver with 45 years of experience, unfortunately a pensioner but honestly evaluating the workshop work.
