Honest and reliable! I’ve had great experiences in the past month with In’n’Out, Reading. Being a new driver, I was worried about finding a local garage that I could rely on but I’m so grateful and pleased to have found one here. The team explained things to me in a way that was clear, honest and I could understand. I’ve no doubt that I could call them with any car issue or question and they’d be happy to help. Very great business and super welcoming staff with a variety of services. Always informed about problem, cost and time frame of repair needed on my BMW (I've been using this garage few times: automatic gearbox service - oil and filter, brake pads and calliper, major service, full service...). True to their word was done in time they said and cost was exactly what they quoted me. No surprises here. Just good quality service all around.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Can't thank Martin and his crew enough for the exemplary service they provided for my daughters MOT, tyre change, and wheel alignment. Not only did were they super competitive on price of an MOT, but also in locating the best performing tyres and price. Through their advice the ride is now less harsh, tyre noise is reduced, and our mini drives beautifully, following the corrections applied by their state of the art alignment system. Needless to say the corrections will also fix the uneven tyre wear, so tyres should now last longer. We have two other vehicles soon due MOT and will be getting those booked in too!

But the free retest within 10 days made it possible to repair what was needed. £50 later and the pug is back out on the road! Great team and very friendly. Absolutely faultless from start to finish. I booked in an MOT on their website the day before and was able to book a dedicated 45 minute time slot. When I arrived I was greeted by Martin who introduced himself and talked me through what would happen. The place was spotless and the waiting facilities were immaculate with both a viewing window into the MOT testing area as well as CCTV so I could watch the work on a TV screen whilst I enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee. The MOT tester came and spoke to me during the test to check up on something and was very polite and informative. Luckily my car sailed through its MOT, but it was clear from watching it happen how thorough a job they did. This is how all garages should be.

Really pleased with the service given by Piers and Tala. I came in to get a quote on some repairs after my car had failed an MOT at Halfords (Long Barn Lane). They informed me that it was incorrect for my car to have failed the MOT. I got my MOT re-done here and it passed - saving me more than £500 on unnecessary repairs. The guys took time to fully explain, open and honestly about what issues my car had in a way that was easy to understand. They were welcoming and friendly throughout. Highly recommend this place!

Martin and the team sorted me out after getting a huge quote elsewhere to get my car through my MOT. They halved the price and even got some extra jobs and some advisories done within that and a free MOT to save me going back and fourth. I was super stressed after visiting several garages for a couple of weeks running as my car is old and needed some help before and after it’s MOT. Martin and the guys picked my car up for me from another garage whilst I was in working and it was all done in such a timely manner and I’m so grateful as it saved me so much hassle and money! Will definitely be going back and had I gone there in the first place I would have been saved a lot of prior headaches. Would recommend them to everyone. What can I say..second time been here..these guys went out of their way to fix my car puncture on the day when other businesses were saying they were busy..took the car there..warm welcome..brilliant customer service..fixed the problem there and then even though they very busy they understood my dilemma and went out of their way..so much appreciated.i would like to give a special mention to MJ who I believe is the assistant manager who received my call prior to going there and fixed the puncture there and then after explaining what caused the puncture too..I was surprised they fixed the puncture as there were many cars there so MJ and in and out..thank you so much as I really needed my car today for work purposes..hats off and any problems with car if u want a smooth and transparent experience u gotta go there..

What a fantastic service! I really needed a quick MOT done as I had forgotten about it and these guys saved me. I managed to get booked in for the same day, an hour later. They even called and said I could come in early. My car failed and needed some work done, I was super busy that day so when I said I only had 2 hours to spare they did it within the hour. Always on the lookout for a bargain, when it was time for my cars annual full service and MOT I started shopping round and found In’n’Out Autocentres, a new garage to me, were one of the cheapest options – so I requested to book in, and was offered a slot that suited my availability perfectly. The garage is easy to find, and located right by the business park zone of Reading, perfect as it meant I could still head into the office while the car was being sorted. On dropping off the car, the staff were friendly and immediately pulled up my details. The building looks brand new, and should you be waiting onsite the customer waiting area looked perfectly comfortable (clean, Covid-safe and had a customer toilet available). Once the team had looked at my car, I received an email with a video attached, with a mechanic literally showing me my car, and the faults they identified – along with a narration of recommendations. Never had that before, and I must say it’s very reassuring to see what they’re quoting for it actually there in front of you needing work. At the bottom of the page with the video there’s a tick box to select the work you want them to do and the line-by-line prices - and a submit button. Brilliant! On collection, the team were again friendly and welcoming. They had all my documents ready to go and not more than 5 minutes later I was out with my car. The whole experience left me feeling that I could trust the mechanics, and what they were charging for – something I’ve not felt with some other garages. I will certainly be going back next year.

SEPT 2021: Great team and customer service. Purchased their Platinum Service pack which is looks to be a great deal for what's included. Recently had my Wife's BMW oil serviced and Aircon serviced, everything has been running perfectly. The Manager / Assistant Manager Piers was very friendly and helpful, ensuring everything was completed. Thanks. Felt the car service and customer service to be considerably better and more comprehensive than HAMPSHIRE MARSHALL BMW vehicle and customer services, which I'd had used in the past until they no longer bothered to return my service enquiry calls. Also, IN'n'OUT's services and service packages are competitively and more reasonably priced than BMW, Audi, etc. (Sept 2021) DEC 2021: Saturday morning on our way to a family birthday breakfast, our BMW's exhaust was very loud with a strong burning smell. Called Piers at IN'n'OUT at 1100, agreed an appointment for 1300. Car was straight up on a ramp and diagnosed the problem within 8 mins, where the front exhaust clamp had loosened and disconnected from the engine exhaust system burning the under engine shield. After closer inspection, was shown where the exhaust connection had failed and disconnected due to corrosion, temporarily re-clamped and fix in place. New replacement exhaust section/part ordered for fitting later in the week at a fair and reasonable price including labour. Outstanding customer service and professionalism. Thanks again to Piers, MJ, Talhah and the Team for saving our busy weekend plans at the last minute!
