S. F.I took my car in for the MOT, it failed which was not a surprise as its an old car.
The parts I needed to fix it were hard to source without going to a main dealer and paying elevated prices. These guys refused to give up and got the part I needed saving me £500. Other garages would have just charged the higher cost and not made the effort.
This place is very reasonabley priced for high quality service and work. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
D. W.Very fair MoT testers, efficient too. Only issue is lack of facilities if you're waiting for your car to be tested. But Reading Centre is 10mins saunter away so I just go there for a coffee while they have my car.
T.Been taking my cars here for many years. Never had a problem. Honest and quick. I love that you only pay for an MOT if it passes. They have on occasion done a little job without charge if it just changing a bulb or something. Good amount of their own parking spaces. No messing. Just get it in. Get the job done and get a call to say car is ready. And done. Pricing reasonable to.

I often get offers of half price MOTs from others but I'm happy to pay full price for a service I can trust.

I had booked a major service but MOTEST recommended not carrying that out as they spotted a leak from the water pump. Grateful this has been spotted and that the major service was not carried out unnecessarily. Helpful and friendly staff.

Fantastic friendly service. Ended up calling them 2days later as car was making a noise where they’d fixed, they said pop it down problem sorted within 15 mins and told any problems just bring it back.

j.Been going here for years, along with my dad who has been going for many years prior Tester D. Mew even put in a jubilee clip for my rattling exhaust during the Mot check, free of charge. Great, honest and quick service. Thank you.
m.Great service. Was looking at getting a headlight bulb changed on my golf. Motest said they would do it for £20 which cheaper than halfords as they want £15.90 for just the bulb with out fitting and £23.90 fitted. So was suprised to see Noreen Baz bad review off motest Guess some people really still do want things for nothing.

m. b.Reading branch: easy to book. Have taken focus here twice. Passes first, failed second but they replaced fuse for free. Took my brother's old golf there and passed no problems. Basic customer service but does what it says on the tin and they don't appear to add lots of unnecessary costs, wiper blades etc, where kwikfit would.
