C.Needed to get my car MOT'd at pretty short notice last September and was unable to get in anywhere, but managed to book a slot at Northcourt Garage who provided top level service with reasonable pricing. They were also able to help out with my handbrake issue at very short notice. Pricing is reasonable and their customer service skills are top-notch. Really pleased and very happy to recommend them for MOT and servicing.
C. Y.Abdolute heroes. I was about to head off to a wedding 80 miles away when an issue arose with my car which needed sorting before I could head off. I was getting so upset and stressed ringing garages for help- these guys were the fifth garage I called and told me to bring it in. c. l.I have been going to this garage regularly since I moved to the area 4 years ago. I am really surprised to see some negative reviews on here particularly describing them as rude. I found always found the owner and who I presume is his son to be unfailingly polite and helpful. There clearly know what they are doing and always keep me well informed. I recommend this garage to all my friends and my mum even drives several miles to use them as she's found them so friendly and reliable.

Being a woman I've found in the past at other garages that I've been treated like an idiot or been intimidated by the men working there. But I've never had it here. D. B.I was referred here by "5 star AC Engg Rob Story" from Coolcar AC. It was very very far from my place but now don't regret going the distance. As suggested by Rob, called them, immediately booked me in the next day first slot. Reached about 6 min late, they were already working in another camper from previous job. Waited for some time, Andrew? took the car and immediately started working on it. Within 25 minutes, problem located and confirmed after statutory tests. Within 3 hours, the AC condensor was sourced and fixed. Regassed AC. Yes, as suggested by another reviewer, expensive but worth the money.
As I was new to the area, John spent good enough time to explain the way to the town centre and things that could be done. Requested me to call back just after noon to check on the work going on. When called in to check at 12.30, the work was already done and within 30 mins, I was in the driver's seat!!
Pros: will explain you everything that is going to be done, and approximate costs., Brilliant workmanship, quickly work done.
Cons: far for me!! And No- American Express not taken!!
Well, the only thing more to see is the life of the new part installed 😜
H. F.Friendly staff, however my service cost much more than what I was quoted and this was due to being charged £90 for oil (previously around £40 at other garages). When I questioned it, I was told that they only use top quality Castro oil. It felt like a hidden cost and should have been mentioned when I asked for a quote. On a positive note, staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.
