M. K.Forgot my MOT date, called these guys up last minute and they fitted me in the following day. Friendly service, no messing about, took bang on 45 mins, thorough and honest. Took a punt on these guys and glad I did, will be returning for future MOT tests
J. G.I am a single woman in her 70s and I live quite far away from PL Autos. Despite this I have used this garage for over twenty years and can't tell you how much I have valued their service. I normally have an annual service and MOT. Lyndon is a man of complete integrity and only does what is necessary thereby keeping the costs down. They are very pleasant and efficient and transparent in their dealings. They give a very fair price all their work. The garage is situated fairly close to Reading town centre and certainly close enough to walk into the centre. Lyndon always makes an effort to carry out the work in a timely fashion and lets me know when the work is finished. I wish them all well and continued success. Sue G

A. T.We've used PL for 20 years. Brilliant. Mark, Lydon, ensure a visit isn't painful as so many garages can be. They also recommended a top paint shop up the same road (Mark Allen Cars) to respray my resto project.
m. W.Trustworthy place for an MOT, can get it done a bit cheaper but these cheaper garages tend to always find work that they know is unnecessary, but hey guess what we can do that "vital work" for a fair price.
So just by going to a cheaper garage for your MOT you just end up forking out money for unnecessary jobs.!!
Just pay that extra few quid in the first place and get an honest MOT test done..!!

G. T.I have visited many garages I wasn't impressed with, until I was recommended this one. Reasonably priced and very friendly service, regardless of how big or small the issue is. Had to go there as an emergency a few times and the guys always do their best to fit you in. Also good working times if you work locally, as I'm able to drop my car off before work and collect it after I finish. Definitely recommending, keep up the good work!
