A customer of some 15-20 years. These guys are absolutely excellent at what they do, and I won’t take my car elsewhere. Enough said!

Called up and was given a quote for a simple service and minor replacement of a part. Immediately I noticed the lady over the phone sounded very grumpy. I wanted to give the car in on Saturday morning but their closed every weekend?? So I gave it in the following Wednesday at 10am. I would of expected the work to be done within 3-4 hours but I ended up picking the car up 5 minutes before they closed at 6pm. What's the point in giving the car in that early? Might as well have gone about my day and handed over at 4pm. I had to call the garage as they did not phone me with any updates or even let me know the car was finished. This was around an hour before they closed! The receptionists grumpy (personality as there are other reviews about her persona) carried on. The bill was also more than what I was quoted, at this point I was fed up and just wanted to get the car home so I paid without any questions. Then they didn't stamp the service book as they couldn't find it, I told them to have a look in the book pack again and they magically found it. I was then told my rear brakes hoses needed replacing, fine. The lady said she'd text me a quote. A week and a half later I still haven't heard from them, I called up and she said she'd been busy. Got a text couple hours later, however I was quoted cheaper elsewhere. Overall I think they know what their doing engineering wise. Professionalism however is low and the lady on the front needs to cheer up!

Great service and final bill lower than quote.

Very welcoming, friendly, expert advice and did the job for me without any problems. They have serviced both my daughter's car and my husband's and gave us invaluable advice on whether to sell or not and what to buy if we were to go down that line. They are reasonably priced as well. They are professional, helpful and courteous.

Matt, Liz and the team are professional, reliable, thorough and knowledgeable and look after their clients and their cars admirably. They provide advice and guidance ensuring their customers are really well looked after and are well known throughout the local community for this. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

Handy if you live in Caversham as you can walk back after dropping your car. A little pricey at times, and an MOT usually manages to fail on something or other. But very friendly staff take your money with a smile, so could be worse. Recommended.

This is my recomended garage to any VW owners around the Reading area. They provide a great service at a good price. They fixed my Golf door locking system within a day after trying severel different VW branches who were unable to book me in earlier than 14 days. I will be going back to them for further servicing and repairs. Jay

The VAG Autoworks crew are the only people I trust with my "money pit",. I have a VAG garage, virtually on my doorstep, but they can't hold a candle to the level of care / competence or courtesy offered by Matt, Liz and the team. They go the extra mile, so I'm prepared to. Think their Epic!

Can not fault the service and clearly knowledgable guys there, managed to diagnosed and repair my car for a reasonable price after seat main dealership were trying to charge me £1500 to replace an ecu that wasn’t broken, thanks guys would highly recommend!!
