Located just on the outskirts of the city centre, I can thoroughly recommend this Kwik Fit branch for quality of service. I use it for my MOT, tyres and tracking. Booking is easy and there’s a large car park area outside. Just off the Avenue near Stag Gates, it’s easy to find. The staff are helpful too. In particular, Kane who does the MOT’s. He gave me advice for work that needed some attention in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for all your service needs.

Today I ran up at 9:30 to try & get a MOT for today as I realised mine had run out and was given an appointment for half 11 which was amazing! When turning up the staff were very accommodating & efficient. They where happy to go out of there way to help you with whatever you needed. 100% recommended. Very helpful and understanding, didn't have my tyre size in stock but got it fitted within 2 days without any hassle. MOT man had a car accident the morning of the appoint so couldn't undertake the MOT on my vehicle which was a pain but got it done the next day. Nice people to deal with.

I only required a single tyre replacement and the work itself was carried out as expected with no issues. There always an issue with appointment timing, I had a 10:30am appointment that had been booked and paid for online, but when I arrived was told it would be 1hr 30 mins before the car would be ready as they were short staffed. My car went up on the ramps after 1hr 15 mins and was ready 15 mins later so I left at 12 noon, making me late for another commitment. I do appreciate that things are currently unpredictable and people are off more than usual, but maybe a quick call first thing in the morning to let people know of appointment time issues to avoid wasting people’s time would provide better customer service.

Went for a replacement tyre. This was an insurance job so I have no idea on prices. When I arrived, I was greeted very quickly and informed where I was in the queue. I was kept up-to-date on a frequent basis as to how things were progressing. My spare wheel was returned to the boot compartment. I wasn't expecting them to do this as my boot was completely full. I had a flat tyre Thursday evening, and was stuck just off the Avenue. I called and spoke to a lovely chap called Sean who kindly agreed to drive over to where I was parked after he’d closed up the garage. He came within 30 minutes, helped fit my spare tyre (and even popped back to his branch as my jack didn’t look very secure). Excellent service well over and beyond Sean’s day job. Huge thanks to Sean. Lucky for me he just moved over from the Gosport Branch, otherwise I would have struggled to find someone to help with such speed and professionalism. Had an issue with my brakes grinding, booked in easily on the Kwik Fit website for the following day. I thought it may be an issue with brake pads. My car was assesed for two hours before I was rang to be told the brake pads were fine and all was okay. However, I was still concerned since I definitely felt them grinding the day before. Due to my concern, I was told they would test drive the car and get back to me. Following the test drive, my brakes were taken apart to find there was a large amount of brake dust present. This was removed before the car being test driven once again. My car was back to normal again and this was all done FREE OF CHARGE! Very professional service and would throrughly recommend to anyone. I will certainly be back in the future!

I called in at KwikFit in Lodge Road Southampton today as I had noticed a screw embedded in the offside rear tyre of my wife's Motability car. I must say that the service I received was absolutely superb. INDIE to successfully align my steering, I was surprised to see Hunter alignment kit, definitely the best in my opinion. Also, after Darryl explained that he could update the digital Mercedes service history I decided on a service too. At less than half the price of an Indie oil change I had the whole B service completed. Spotless air conditioned waiting room and customer toilets. Great prices and service. I will be back.

Went in for the obligatory MOT on my Freelander. Everything went very smoothly, very well organised durin Covid-19 restrictions. We had the luxury of sitting in our motorhome whilst the job was in hand, so no need to use their facilities, though space and distance seemed adequate for those who were in there. Popped in yesterday for an MOT I'd booked online. The MOT itself was quicker than expected, but my car failed so we arranged for everything to be done the day afterwards but I'd have to leave my car; a little bit of a pain, but to be expected when you bring an 18 year old car in for it's MOT. Walked down the road to a friend's house and within half an hour received a phone call telling me they'd been able to fit me in, everything was done and the car was ready to be picked up. It's always a bit nerve wracking being a young woman and taking your car to a garage, I've been ripped off a few times in the past, but there was absolutely none of this at all and the staff here clearly do as much as they can for their customers. I'll be back again for my MOT next year, and if anything goes wrong before then I will trust Kwik Fit to sort it for me quickly and efficiently. Thanks again!!!

Professional place with professional people. Had an oil change and filter change in my car and I could just sit back and wait in an armchair until they finished the work. I could even see what the engineers and mechanics were doing through the glass door that divides the office and the service area. Could go for a free tea or coffee while waiting. Prices are a bit high but quality work worth it.

I went there with an issue where I felt another tyre place had deliberately put something in my tyre in order to get my service. Long story..... but the kwik fit guys on lodge road took me under their wing and went above and beyond for me, calling up for me as they found my wheel had split and needed welding. Been here twice in a month now. First time had two tyres changed due to damage. They gave me impartial advice about the rear tyres but left it to me if I wanted to change them. Second time I had rear puncture. Unfortunately they checked the wrong car first but I saw the funny side of it! In the end they fixed the puncture free of charge. Good service all round.

Having had the misfortune of a puncture on a Sunday afternoon after 4 pm I was stuck. Rolling up on a Monday morning at 0830 my car was on the lift by 0845. Friendly, efficient service. Will definitely use again.

Visited 12/04/18 for a service, 2 new rear tyres and to have the rear brakes looked at as they were overheating. I have always used Kia to service the vehicle from new up to this point. Darryl, was the chap who took my booking and did the work on my car. He carried out the service to Kia's specification, this is a requirement to keep the Kia 7 year warranty valid, and I must say did a thorough job, actually doing it properly unlike the main dealer! He showed me the problem with the brakes, everything was siezed and rusted. He cleaned the brakes and greased accordingly. I had been told by Kia over 10k miles ago that the car needed new brake pads and disks. Darryl assured me that there was plenty of life left in them as they were only 50% worn (thanks Kia). Now onto the tyres, I had already asked for new tyres and was happy for them to be replaced. Darryl came into the waiting area and told me the that the tyres still had several thousand miles left in them he asked me if I was sure I wanted them replaced, I said yes please and the tyres were replaced. My service book was stamped and I was given a printed service sheet detailling all the work carried out etc. So what is my opinion, VERY HONEST, very thorough and very reasonable. Overall very good indeed, I will be getting all my future work done at this garage. Oh, they are quite a cheerful bunch too. Thank you

I booked my wife car in for a service and my wife explained to them that if anything is required further to provide us with a quote and detail of what is required and we would then review and come back to them. This was done and they decided to apply pressure on my wife on the phone to get a number of areas worked on . Shortly after this my wife father sadly passed away and my wife needed her car back so she could travel to be near his side and the man decided to make her feel guilty that she should not drive the car and that if he wanted he could not realise the car and stressed that the tyres were on the metal. He only released this once my wife started crying. Once my wife got home I checked the tyres and they were not on the metal but did need replacing. I understand that if work needs to be completed they should be advising but not providing scare tactics.

Just popped in today on way to visit my shop in Southampton. Had a tire on the front of the car looking flat and wouldn't pump up. Dropped it in thinking must need a new tire. But they gave it a full check over and the young lad ( everyone is younger than me now ) said was just the valve. So he replace it then said don't worry about the charge as only a £5 per value!
