Very impressed with a very helpful team. I mistakenly managed to lock my airmatic suspension into sport mode and after a few other specialists insisted there is a fault with my suspension, even though i explained what happened, a dear friend recommended MBS. MBS understood my explanation and were happy to help on the spot. Took me 5 minutes to call them, 25 minutes to drive to them, they attended the car asap and after a further 20 minutes my car was returned to me in a better state. Now i drive a very very smooth car. Well done MBS team. Massive thanks.

Have used MBS Southampton to service and repair my Mercedes for last 10yrs. Very thorough and cheaper than a main dealer. You can speak with the actual persons who are servicing and repairing car. Can’t recommend highly enough. Very well thought off by Merecedes Owners Club.

Awarding two stars as the office staff are fab. Took our 2005 SL for what we suspected was a bearing issue. We were informed it was a significantly more expensive issue (pulsation damper) - took their word for it. Issue persisted. Turns out we were right, and wasted over £700. Adding a third star as we had other work carried out (pre diagnosed) which was done well. Just a shame that no one was interested in engaging about their error.

Best independent garage I've ever found. Highly recommended on all M-B forums, so I've been to them 4 times now for servicing on my E350cdi. Very knowledgeable, very helpful and chatty, they just love M-B cars and customers. So much free advice, too, and no pressure to get work done that could actually be put off for a while. Also, they use only approved M-B parts but charge loads less for labour... like about a third of the cost of the dealership. They're also fully connected you the stars system, too, so your service record is updated. Brilliant, highly recommended from me. 👍

Fantastic service! Long story short, the boot of my Mercedes SLK got stuck shut. My usual garage gave up trying to open it, and so I called round or the Mercedes garages in Southampton looking for help. A certain dealership whom I won't name out of politeness wanted 200 quid just to look at it! Two others that I spoke to weren't interested. But when I spoke to Colin, he showed the kind of "can-do" attitude that is all too rare in the motor trade. I dropped the car off, receiving delightful service from Jess on reception, and I'd only been home half an hour when they were on the phone telling me it was ready to collect. All done to a very high standard, and for a fraction of what I would have had to pay had I gone "elsewhere".

I had a service carried out on my c class last year and an MOT earlier this month at this garage. On both occasions the staff were very friendly and helpful. The price for a full service here compared to taking my car directly to Mercedes was cheaper, whilst receiving a similar level of service. The garage have access to the MB database so are able to see what your vehicle requires and can update service record, etc. The garage have adapted the reception entrance to suit covid government guidelines and is accessed round the side of the garage. There is a screen in place between you and the staff members, with hand sanitizer available on the desk. All areas of the cockpit of the vehicle were clearly wiped down and the steering wheel covered with plastic which is later removed to protect everyone involved. The garage called to notify me on both occasions when my car was read to collect. I will continue to take my Mercedes to MBS Southampton in the future.

After some research in the web, I read about very satisfied customers and called MBS in Southampton regarding an engine check light on my car. I explained the issues I was experiencing with the car and the guys were very helpful and knowledgeable about the fault, which gave me immediate confidence that I was speaking with experts. I drove all the way down from London and can say that it was definitely worth the journey. The team was very friendly and took time to explain in detail about the repair that has to be done on my car. They have done an excellent job and my car is back on the road. Rang up at 9 am this Friday morning and was attended by the Dave himself to express my predicament of the previous repairs they carried out. I was asked to get the car in straightway, provided me with their real solid 2001 Benz as a courtesy car. 4 pm, I get a call to collect the car! I must say, Dave, is a true and fine Mercedes surgeon. Calm, composed and objective. In this time it's very hard to find someone who is in a mechanical trade with integrity. You will not find polished marble floors here, or rubber plants. What you will find is a team who live and breathe Mercedes and know their product inside out, be it the latest model or earlier. Still a few good garages out there but these guys are up there with the very best. Happy to bring my car here although it is a 140ml+ round trip. Fuel cost more than compensated by the knowledge that these guys will do a good job and go that extra mile to keep their bill as reasonable as possible. Highly recommended and many thanks. J. W.

I took my '13 C63 to MBS to diagnose a noise coming from below the car. I'd spoken with a few other mechanics prior including Mercedes themselves who advised on £100 just to look at it. Colin and Carl had a look and had a few ideas, I left the car there for the day and they narrowed the noise down to the gearbox requiring a service (oil filter was the culprit). Their service really is spot on, they know there stuff when it comes to Mercedes and you're always kept in the loop. The issue could have been a lot more expensive if a run-of-the-mill mechanic was working on it as they would likely replace a lot of parts that wouldn't need to be. I'd have no hesitation in going back to MBS as I trust them - top guys.

I had problems with my gearbox sensor on my C220 Estate. They quickly diagnosed the problem and it was fixed a short time later.
