WOW. Bought a car from a private seller who told me that he would only ever use this garage and said they where amazing, and he was right. I booked my car in for a broken handbrake cable and new rear discs and pads, I also asked them to look if anything else needed doing but all was good with a full talk through from them on the phone whilst the car was with them. I was informed every step of the way on price and options. The reception team are fantastic, helpful polite. There is no push on sales or that awful sucking in air through teeth!! They take there time with you explaining everything as they go. Prices are the best I've ever had. I will now be a life long customer whatever car I own. I actually drove out with a smile on my face feeling the difference at an affordable price. Thank you station garage for keeping me safe on the road and making me smile. Looking forward to seeing you again for my service and MOT. Mr Cook

Had a relatively positive experience with this garage. Their web-site is generally good, very simple to book and arrange an appointment with clear visibility of what dates are available. Communication was also really good with a very prompt reply to my enquiry and an offer to take a look at my vehicles problem the next day. The only minor watch out is that the web site wording on the General Cars Repairs page, ‘Got a problem with your car, we’ll take a look for FREE’, is not precisely accurate. Following a look at my cars problem I was charged ½ hours labour. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that one of their mechanics had to do something more than just look at my car and run a test so I was charged for his time. That’s fair enough but the web-site does give the impression that any initial investigation is free. I think what the web-site really means is that they will talk about your cars potential problem for free but anything more than this is chargeable at the labour rate. Sorry Station Road Garage but this needs to be made clearer. Including a symbol of a magnifying glass or stating ‘we offer a free visual inspection’ in smaller text further up the page doesn’t cut it. It’s the big lettering associated with the embed video file that people will pick up on.

My first experience having an MOT done and ever using a garage and they were so lovely, easy to book online, test done promptly and notified me by text, I separately needed an issue looking at and a really helpful, friendly mechanic called and explained the work needed to get my authority first. The receptionist on the phone was also really lovely as was the lady I spoke to when I picked up my car this morning (possibly same lady). Have already highly recommended this garage to everyone at work and will be attending for anything I need in future. Thanks guys!

Booked in for cambelt, waterpump change to my clio 197 works undertaken found and diagnosed oil leak and new crank pulley required. Contacted before works undertaken. Works carried out in a very professional way, costs were very competitive to say im well chuffed is an understatement. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again.

Fantastic service - family run garage, well established and knowledgeable. Switched to them for my MOT's about 2 years ago and find them to be very fair and accommodating with short notice requests. They will always phone with parts prices before going ahead and ordering, and always able to offer several price options (standard, genuine or pattern parts)

After the AA couldn't find the problem preventing our 15 year old 124000 miles Civic from starting, I got them to tow it to Station Garage. We feared we might have to write the old car off but Daryl did a great job identifying a coolant leak causing overheating and had the car back on the road good as ever. We've also used Station Garage over previous years for servicing and they have always been helpful, professional and competitive.

Great service as usual after The AA dropped the car in . Kept me up to date on the repair to my broken suspension, including worst case quote if certain parts may also need replacing. The other parts were fine so price was lower than quoted. They also managed to fit the MOT and service booked for the next week in at the same time.

When my Fathers Ford Focus had a clutch failure, I thought that might be the end of the car. Station garage quoted me a good price which I was happy to pay. Even better that when I came to pay the bill, they charged me much less than quoted. A good sign of an honest garage. AA towed my car there Saturday evening. I rang Monday morning and spoke to a lovely female receptionist, they said they would take a look. Before 10am they had investigated, identified and priced up the repair. 13.47 I received text saying my vehicle was ready to be collected! I was beyond grateful, they didn't know me from Adam. These guys are brilliant and I won't be taking my car anywhere else from now on - until now I've always used the original dealership for all work but these guys are really experienced and pin-pointed a difficult problem with my catalytic converter and now my car pulls like a train! Performance engine experts! Best garage I've found and they really work to keep your bill price down - needed 4 x lamda sensors, they got exactly the same part by going straight to Bosch instead of VW at half the price!

Last week I put my car in for an M.O.T. It is fifteen years old now, but in v.g.c.for its year, but I always worry about it passing, in particular on safety grounds. Turned out all it needed was a new tyre, so I popped next door to Flintstone Tyres. They had no suitable one in stock, but ordered me two up, and said come back in a couple of hours. They fitted them, I went back to Station Garage, and my car was re-tested in about ten minutes. Sorted! Great!
