Went for my first MOT here yesterday and can't thank the guys enough. Only had my car a year and was surprised to hear of its problems but they all made sense. The repairs were reasonably priced and they understood I needed my car back ASAP due to work commitments. I picked my car up today and its driving beautiful. Outstanding service and work carried out on my Porsche C4S. What I assumed was going to be a very expensive fix of my Air conditioning system, turned out to be a small fault that the team quickly rectified and the cost was excellent. They are a very honest and helpful group, especially the guy who was sat at the front desk (Ex REME) and the young lad who carried out the work on my car. I will certainly be returning should I require some assistance again.

MOT carried out. All was fine except fot the tyre assessment. The 2 rear tyres Michelin primacy I bought new and were fitted 3 weeks earlier and the car was parked up in the drive awaiting the mot on 25th Jan. I do not understand how they could be assessed as 53% and 69% tred or 5mm and 6mm. The front tyres were new too I only put them on 27th September 2021 the same Michelin primacy and they had the same assessment rating an the rear 53% and 69%!

I booked my car in for an MOT and service this week and unfortunately, I was given a list as long as my arm of repairs that needed to be done. I was so pleasantly surprised at how quick the work was done by Halfords. It was all done in one day when I expected it to be a few days! When I first went to the garage, I told them that my brake light was dodgy so they kindly said they would look at it. After the MOT and repairs, they told me that the brake light miraculously started working again. I took it home, and the brake light was still not working properly so unfortunately, had to take it back the next day. This was quite inconvenient. It would’ve made far more sense for them to look at it when the MOT was being done, regardless of it working at the time.. just to make sure. But that’s my only complaint! :) dealt with a very nice gentleman called, James. He was very helpful, friendly and always kept in touch with updates.

Previous experiences not so great, not sure if there have been staff changes in 2020-21 but overall a great experience for getting my mot done. Made a purchase in retail outlet and received a free mot voucher, fortunately the mot was due, very simple and quick online booking system and a great front desk manner by the gentleman in Halfords auto centre Llansamlet, easy to deal with, would use again, it's the staff that make the company and a great experience.

Unfortunately I didnt realise the MOT on my car was due, my usual local garage was unable to fit me in so I booked in at Halfords. I've been using my garage for the last 15 years so was hesitant to use somewhere else. I was really pleasantly surprised with the service I recieved, the gentleman who served me was brilliant when my car failed, he got the part ordered straight away, told me a timescale which was met and was really really helpful. The cost was really reasonable. Cant fault them. Would definitely recommend using them and I will be again.

Very efficient, dropped car in at 09:00, call at 10:30 with a quote, car ready at 13:00. When I got there the total bill was less than the quote as some of the parts did not need to be replaced. Recommend

Being somewhat mechanically inept, and having only recently started driving. I was always told to be wary of Halfords autocentres. People I spoke yo always said that they were overly expensive, weren't very professional and that they were quite rude. I have to say, that was all wrong. I have been here a few times already, and while it is somewhat expensive, you're guaranteed to have great work done, using good quality parts and the guys are extremely explanatory about what they were doing, while also being both friendly and professional. I would recommend to others.👌

This is the 3rd year I have used a Halfords Auto Centre and each one in Brighton, Shoreham and now Swansea has been superb. Excellent service. After my car failed its MOT the reasons why it failed were explained to me fully, and I was talked through my options in a very friendly and supportive manner. Staff were able to advise that I could get certain items repaired elsewhere and they could validate my MOT afterwards (provided I only drove to the place of repair). Although I agreed to some work and then changed my mind and asked them to carry out the rest of the work as well they were more than happy to oblige even though it was close to closing time. They carried out the work whilst waiting and I felt like everything they were doing was in my best interest at all times, and kept me informed of what was happening. Repair may have been slightly more expensive, but came with a lifetime guarantee which I can transfer to my future vehicles, and the quality of parts was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The standard of service offered by the staff was excellent. They also discovered a potentially dangerous fault which they rectified immediately fir me, keeping me informed all the time. I always use Halfords for MOT and servicing as they are well priced and you can book your timeslot online and also pay online. Just drop the car off on the day before your timeslot and you can either wait in the waiting area or leave and they'll ring you when it's done or to tell you if any work is needed and the price (if any). Friendly staff and professional too, unlike other private owned garages I've been to over the years. You get a reception area with pleasent staff to greet and deal with you. Happy :)

I have to say, the guys in the garage were dressed smartly, spoke like real humans and made some of the terminology easier 😂 i needed a lot done to my car, thought it wouldve been two days work but they managed to get it all done within 5 hours which only took that long due to not having my tyres not in stock. I was leaving to go to Heathrow airport when I got a tyre pressure indication in my car. By this point I was in a massive hurry and the tyre valve had burst on the side so I gave halfords a ring and James picked up. He told me to come straight over and that he can sort it for me. Once I got there James got onto the job straight away and replaced the faulty valve. Although it might seem like normal service... given that I was already an hour off schedule for arriving at the airport, James worked quickly, diligently and professionally. Thanks to him I still managed to make my flight in perfect timing. James worked with very little notice and I couldn’t thank him enough for helping me when I was in such a tough situation. Thanks to him, I will now use halfords autocentre on samlet road exclusively for my future car works. Thank you James!!
