Third time we have used this family run garage today to service and MOT our family car. Same fantastic service that we have received previously, courteous staff, quick same day turnaround getting parts to fix issues to pass its MOT at a fraction of the price main dealers have charged us previously. Friendly and 100% trustworthy - asked them to check our tyres and brakes ahead of our forthcoming staycation, peace of mind given that they were absolutely fine. I don’t generally do the whole online review thing, but felt the need to give this place a 5 star review after three 5 star visits - I promise you won’t be disappointed with the quality of their work or their prices! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have had my car serviced and MOT done here for years and have always had a positive experience. I always shop around for the best prices on any major repairs that need completing and find they are very competitive and provide a great honest service for the costs. Recently a part that had been supplied and fitted had failed after five months but on return to the garage they repaired the fault under warranty at no cost and no hassle. 4 months later from writing my first review and again its the service you get when you need something fixing quickly that always impresses me. Today I received an honest and quickly sorted fix to a problem with my car that keeps me on the road without any stress. I would highly recommend this garage and its staff as a reliable and honest option if you need work doing.

The staff here are incredibly helpful and honest. I had a multitude of issues with my car, they provided multiple options including cheaper alternatives to help me save. Also, after getting an initial price here they carried out the work and when I came to pay, they charged me less than they originally stated as it took them less time than they originally thought it would!

We have used this garage for about 3 or 4 years now, and have 5 cars within the family - always feel like we have had excellent service and advice, and trust that they will tell us straight if things need doing, and NOT push for work to be done if not needed. Highly recommend - in the past they have also done little extras like mend an annoying door handle without charge. Yesterday my sons clutch cable snapped nearby and they retrieved the car and have mended it today. Thankyou!

I have been having my cars serviced and repaired at Drive In for over ten years and I won’t go anywhere else. I use my car for business and clock up high miles, therefore my car is serviced 4-5 times per year. I chose these guys as an alternative to main dealers because I know the work gets done and they care about me and my car. There have been several occasions that I have required emergency work and they have accommodated me at extremely short notice. I would say prioritised but…well they are just that way..they are pretty much “can do” kind of guys. One thing that has stood out for me over the years is the varying levels of experience in the field. They have the knowledge and experience to deal with most issues and they always seem to have younger lads learning the trade as well. It is a brilliant local firm that seem to enjoy the challenges that new cars present them with. Now and again they will tell me that it’s the first time they faced this issue and they always seem to find the cure. There is an enthusiasm in this company that is welcoming. I will add this, they are not the cheapest around but they are cheaper than main dealers by a long way and they give me more confidence in knowing I only pay for what has been done and it has been done. My work colleagues now use Drive In as well because they also realise that getting things done cheap isn’t cost effective. I have been taking my cars to get services/repairs/MOTs to Drive In for over 12 years. The service is exceptional. Chris and Jay always provide competitive prices which are agreed in advance and always keep you informed while repairs are underway so there are no surprises when collecting. Jay always provides options when selecting aftermarket parts for repair to suit budget. They have been happy to fit parts that I have brought in for fitting (EBC discs and pads). They have made time in their schedules to repair my car in emergencies (limping the car onto the forecourt). No repair is too small (considered a hassle). I have found them to be an open, honest and fair business and I value their opinion and trust their workmanship. They keep detailed records of historic services/repairs undertaken and provide advice on upcoming service schedules so you know what due and when. I have recommended them to friends and family and they have all experienced the same great customer service.

First time I’d used this place to be honest but I’ll certainly be back! I needed a bike MOT’d fairly last minute to get to work as the car was going in the garage. Called up on a friends recommendation half expecting I’d be lucky to get it in within a week, only to find myself in the garage 20mins later with it passed less than an hour of phoning! Couldn’t believe it! I’m sure they were packed out busy but still managed to find a gap and we’re able to fit me in. I left my car here and they did a diagnostic and called me to say that although they could start the work, they may not be able to finish it - it may have to go to a specialist and I could potentially end up paying twice. I have such respect for their honesty and integrity. Very trustworthy - I would recommend without hesitation. Who these days turns away work because it could cost the customer more? Amazing - I will definitely be back!

15-04-2022 - Updated. Wanted to leave another review but Google will only allow me to "edit" my existing one. Changed my car a while ago and recently developed vibration / wobble when braking so booked it in with them stating I wanted new disks and pads fitting. Dropped the car in with them and headed home. They rang a short time later to ask why I was replacing the pads so I explained. They said they were all but new and suggested they road test the car. They called again about an hour later and said that in their opinion the issue was with some wishbone bushes and requoted. Not only was the car still ready the same day but they stopped me wasting money on a problem I didn't have. So many garages would have replaced what I had asked them to and I'd have had to pay twice. And yes, they were right. The vibration / wobble has gone completely. Had these guys do various jobs on my car's over the last few years. No matter how busy they are they make the time to answer any questions you have. The one and only time I've had to return with a concern the took the car straight in and sorted it. No attempt to fob me off, tell me to see how it goes or anything else. Straight on the ramp.
